-Ekko POV-

This is it, my first day of my third year of high school. I'm kinda nervous to be honest. But there is not that much to do about it really. It's the same every time and having just a couple of friends doesn't help at all.

Vlad: Hey dude!

Speaking of the devil, here comes one of the only friends I have.

Me: Aaaan there it is one of the...

I stopped to count with my fingers just for the joke.

Me: Two friends I have.

Vlad: Yeah, no question why. You can barely count to two.

Me: Shut up, should I remind you of who keeps fixing all the shitty home appliances in your old ass house?

Vlad: Yeah, you're right. Thanks again by the way.

Me: Meh, helps to keep my mind working. By the way have you seen Darius anywhere?

Vlad: Not really, he's probably making someone give him his lunch money.

Me: Or waiting for Sarah Fortune to arrive so he can try to flirt with her.

Vlad: Emphasis on try dude.

And right when we were talking about her, she arrived at the scene with her usual indifferent attitude that more than one finds incredibly attractive. Seriously, she's insanely popular among the males of this institution. Personally, I'm not inside that demographic. Yeah, she's hot and cool but that's not really my type of girl; and luckily it wasn't Vlad's either.

Vlad: I must admit, she's quite eye catching.

We both saw how she walked past everyone like they weren't even there and reunited with her usual group of friends. Ezreal Rimor and Soraka Stelae, at least at the moment since there are other two in the group, those being Ahri Luminaro and Syndra Tenebris.

Those five are easily the most popular people in the institution, and like every group of popular teens in a show, they hold up to the standards for everyone else. They seem superficial, boring and overall, just a bunch of pretty faces that stick around because they enjoy the stupid attention.

Me: I don't see anything attractive about her, beyond her looks of course.

Vlad: Yeah, the only reason Darius is so into her is because she keeps rejecting the idiot.

Darius: Like you are one to talk maggot.

Surprisingly, he arrived like any other student. Just casually walking through the main entrance with his backpack over his shoulder. Though his muscular body and height made him look intimidating to others.

Vlad: What do you mean?

Me: Come on, you know what he means.

Darius: You spent the last two years saying that you will become Ahri's boyfriend, but you haven't even talked to her.

Vlad: WHAT!!? W-well excuse me for waiting the perfect chance.

Me: You had several.

Vlad: Hmph! Tell me at least two times!

Darius: That time you two were chosen to clean the classroom after class.

Me: And she didn't even talk to you then.

Darius: Around six times you two were partners in different events of the school festival last year.

Me: You just mumbled everything you were trying to say.
