-Kei'ral POV-

Ekko: You were out for two hours.

Me: Yeah, well can you blame me!? I smashed my face against a wall while going at light speed!

Ekko: You grabbed me and moved me around at the same speed, thinking about it carefully, the sheer amount of kinetic energy you put over my body should have killed me. So how does the kinetic energy affect you while crashing into something and not while "touching" other things or living creatures.

Me: I don't know, you are the scientist, figure it out for yourself.

Ekko: What's more, moving at that speed should create incredibly powerful typhoons. To say the least. Unless you actually turn into pure energy while doing so, but that makes it even more complicated.

Me: Again, I don't know.

This is so embarrassing. I just knocked myself out in the most ridiculous way possible! I'm just glad Ahri wasn't here to see it. The last thing I want is her constantly remembering me about something so dumb.

Ekko: Well, it's already seven o'clock. Only half an hour before the homecoming, so we better get ourselves ready. You do have a tuxedo, right?

Oh boy, I completely forgot about that!

*Buzz* *buzz*

We turned to see my phone in the table, vibrating for upcoming messages.

Me: Oh no...

Ekko: What?

Me: It's Ahri. Please tell me this is the first message she sent me in the entire day.

I walked past Ekko and grabbed my phone from the center table. To my demise, I had nearly 50 unread texts from Ahri.

Ekko: Huh... what kind of relationship you two have again?

Me: She's my friend. And up until this afternoon, the only person that knew about my situation with the void and all that.

Ekko: So, she's helping you to reincorporate into society.

Me: And providing me shelter, food and got me back into school.

Ekko: You live with her!?

Me: I've been staying with her for a week already.

I spaced out of the conversation for a moment to check on the texts. They were normal at first, just what you expected for her to ask when I left her after school. "Where are you?" "Why did you leave?" Things like that. But little by little they turned into a little more... aggressive texts. Apparently, she had planned on going with me to buy a suitable attire for the event of tonight.

Me: Huh... do you have any idea of how to get an appropriate attire for the homecoming in just half an hour?

Ekko: Oh, that? Yeah give me a second.

He casually walked to one of the shelves on the left of the workshop, checked on some of the shelves by tossing around most of the things inside until he got two curious looking bracelets. He put on one of them and threw me the other.

Ekko: Here you go, consider this the first part of our deal.

Me: What is this?

Ekko: It's basically a portable storage room.

Me: What?

Ekko: This was one of the first things I worked on when I got the piece of the void creature over there. It used the same principle of the void itself, creating a small pocket dimension, where you can storage whatever you want. Though it has a limit, for now It's around a hundred different objects, the size can variate.
