I smirked and hid behind a bush as he passed.  Then tapped his shoulder and spun to his opposite side.  He chuckled.  "Where are you taking me?"

I shrugged.  "Never been here before, but Xavier and Aurora are having their fun so... " I twirled gesturing around me.  "I have fun too."

I paused as I felt someone else coming and climbed another tree.  "Where is she?"

Ezekiel met his gaze.  "Who?"

He flared his nostrils, eyes turning yellow.  "The Ice Princess... Xena... that's what you called her, right?"

He shrugged.  "Don't know."

He took a step towards him and I frowned as my wolf went on high alert.  "Those girls said she was with you."

Ezekiel casually looked around.  "Do you see her?  I did see her briefly though, when I was talking to them."

He got closer and I was about to jump down, but I saw the slight shake of his head.  "Why? Are you protecting her?  She's close, I can smell her."

Ezekiel chuckled.  "That's nice to know, maybe she knows I'm the only one not looking to harm her."

Sheldon laughed.  "Yeah right.  You wouldn't be out here just to play nice guy.  You don't fool me, better hope I don't find her first."

Ezekiel sighed.  "I'm not searching, but she may pop up again.  We'll see."

I came down and he smiled softly.  "You want to go back?"

He took a lock of my hair in his hand.  "I'm in no rush, have your fun."  I smiled and tugged his hand as we further in.  I brushed my hands across some greenery zigzagging then going in circles every so often.  "Keep that up more will come looking."

I smirked before walking around him, my hand gliding along his back and then his shoulders.  "Wonder if they'll smell me on you... let's find out."  I stood on my toes and kissed his cheek before wandering off again.

I felt a desire fill me and ignored it as we continued.  Soon, a different group of wolves were coming.  I listened and pulled off his jacket, pushing him behind a tree.  I faced the newcomers and they gasped.  "It's you..."

I waved my fingers at them and tilted my head.  "Um... have you seen a guy out here... tall, handsome?"  I looked around curiously and shrugged.  "So... you really can't talk?"

I smiled and rocked on my heels.  "I can smell him on you... where is he?"  I sighed and pointed in the opposite direction.  "Oh... uh... thanks."

I turned to leave.  "Hey... you know it's not safe to be out here by yourself."

I glanced back and nodded before walking the other way.  Ezekiel caught me in his arms.  "You kissed me..."  I struggled, but he held firm.  "I remember when I did that to you, punched my face.  Then beat me up later that day."

I smirked and continued to fight against his hold.  His face fell into my neck and I froze.  "I won't not unless you want me to... but..."  He kissed my neck and shoulder, making me hot.

I made a sound of protest and he let me go.  He smirked and I huffed at him before stalking off.  He followed and we came to a river.  I knelt down cupped some water in my hands to splash my face.  He sat beside me.  "How have you been?"

I looked at him curiously.  "Good for the most part.  And you?"

He looked at the water.  "It was rough at first, but we're better now.  You were right about my uncle."

I sighed.  "What happened?"

He sat back on his hands.  "He tried to get others to revolt against us.  Ended up challenging my dad and losing."

"Is he okay?"

"Yeah."

I smiled.  "Good."

I took off my shoes and rolled up my leggings to dip my feet in the water.  Ezekiel stopped me and laid out his jacket for me to sit one.  "That dress is nice, no need to get it dirty."

I scowled at him before sitting on it and paddling in the water.  "We ended up going to the place mom's original pack was.  We struggled a little with rebuilding and having to defend ourselves from rogues and neighboring packs, but we all made it out okay."

He nodded.  "I know, like I said you've made a name for yourself... your pack as well."  I looked at him curiously.  "You basically started from scratch and are strong as a leader and pack.  A lot of others are seeking your hand."

I grimaced.  "No thanks."

He chuckled.  "Still don't like the Season this would be the first you said you would participate."

"I hate it, the way people act, the scents... it's just gross all the way around."

He laughed and it was a pleasant sound.  "Yet you are okay with me."

I thought for a moment.  "I don't mind your scent..."

"Is that so?"

I rolled my eyes.  "Don't get cocky... Some people's aren't so bad."

He narrowed his eyes.  "I missed one of those words... don't get what?"

I raised my eyebrows and spelled it out.  "You've gotten better."

He lowered his gaze and a warm feeling invaded my chest.  "Well... my mate has this thing where she doesn't like to talk so... I had to learn."

My heart fluttered, but I narrowed my eyes.  "Well that sucks.  Should just learn to talk shit."

He met my gaze.  "You think so?"  I nodded.  "Well considering no one except Caleb signs, it would work out that way."

I smiled.  "How is he?"

Ezekiel sighed.  "He is one of the lucky few that found his mate on his first Season."

I blinked.  "What?  Who?"

He furrowed his brow.  "Some girl named Linda, has glasses..."

I smiled.  "Aw... she's sweet and was always nice to me.  That's cute."

He nodded.  "Yeah... he was estatic."

I sighed and looked out past the river.  "I miss him, I should send a gift for them."

I jumped when his finger stroked my face.  "I've missed you... your voice..."

I scowled as I fought a blush.  "Stop making me uncomfortable."

He chuckled.  "You were always cute when you fought."  I crossed my arms and looked away from him.  "So stubborn... don't be mad, I'll stop."

I side-eyed him.  "I've missed you too."

The warm feeling returned and he sighed.  "I'm happy to hear that."

I pouted.  "Don't be... I missed mostly everybody I could actually stand."

He smirked.  "But you said you'd miss me the most."

I looked at the sky curiously.  "I don't remember that."

He raised his eyebrows.  "Oh, really?"

I tilted my head and put a finger on my chin.  "Nope, I don't recall."

He pulled my face toward him.  "Are you sure about that?"

I smirked and nodded.  "Because I remember something shortly after..."  He kissed me softly.  "Mmm... something like that."

I remember when I dreamed of her touching me and I know now the real thing is far more powerful.  She was actually teasing me when she did it, she couldn't know that my skin tingled where she touched. Then... she kissed my cheek and I almost lost it.  She wasn't as bothered when I hugged her, but got mad when I kissed her.

However, she is still a tomboy and thought nothing of sitting on the ground to put her feet in the water, was even annoyed when I had her sit on my jacket.  I missed her, even in her most reckless or mad moments.  Being with her was like I was finally whole again.  So, even though I'd probably get my ass kicked, I kissed her.
