"Do I have to?"
Ezekiel smirked. "Yes, Alpha Violet, you need to be here."
I sighed and let him drag me into the room. "I don't wanna." He pulled out the chair beside his. "I like the window." He shook his head and gently nudged me into my seat. "I like your seat."
He was working hard to contain his laughter, knowing I was trying to keep him out of a deadly mood. "I prefer your lap then."
His council sat chuckling as I prodded at him. "You can be really childish."
I smirked. "Ask me if I care."
He sighed and faced his council. "So, we didn't finish with the girls last time."
Corbin nodded. "Considering they are still unaware that their families are dead. It may serve as punishment enough."
I sat back and looked out of the window, half listening as they went back and forth. Still no true decision was made and I frowned as a finger glided down my cheek. "Yes?"
"What do you think?"
I shrugged. "Let them decide for themselves. Alicia, I don't see her causing anymore trouble if she stays. Brenda will be your issue until she pisses me off then, well..."
He dropped his head. "The treaty is still in place."
I pursed my lips. "And?"
He sighed. "If she decides to stay here the-"
A slow smile slid across my face. "No family, a pack that has accepted me as your mate, she hates me in fucking general... she won't stay. Her best bet is to cut her losses here, then regroup and try another way. If she stays and she tries to bed you or attack me, one of us will end her life, just depends on what she tries first."
William nodded. "You are her mate, it stands to reason that she would eliminate anyone that tried. You've already made the consequences of attacking her or Zoey clear, so..."
The rest agreed and Ezekiel thought for a moment. "Then, we'll let them decide."
The packs was gathered as we met them on the field, all were ready to begin, but first the matter of our two prisoners. I stepped back as William and Corbin brought them to stand before Ezekiel. He didn't question it, this was his pack's problem. I liked that they had been allowed to bathe and given new clothes, but they both were scanning the crowd.
Ezekiel looked at them both. "You stand accused of sexual harassment, breaking and entering. Brenda you alone accused of the attempted assualt of Violet. What say you?"
Alicia bowed her head. "Guilty..."
Brenda stayed silent. "Then, Alicia in light of recent events, I should tell you both that your familes, along with others attempted to murder my mate and attacked the pack, for which they were executed."
They both gaped. "Liar!" Brenda tried to run up to us, but was stopped. Apollo stepped in front of me. "You're a fucking liar! You killed them to get back at us!"
Alicia collapsed to the ground. "Why would they do this?"
Ezekiel didn't waver, ignoring Brenda altogether. "Misinformation... outright disagreement with my choices as Alpha."
Her lip trembled. "And... what about me?"
He met her gaze. "It's your choice, you can remain as a part of the pack and obey the rules or you can become a rogue. We will not chase you or hunt you down, but you will be on your own."
