"ZeeZee!"
To say I was surprised and happy to hear her was an understatement until I saw their faces. Derek and Zoey were drenched and looked terrified. "What happened?"
I was already moving, Violet wasn't here. "They hit us from the side, she ordered me to bring Zoey here, I couldn't..."
I couldn't be mad at him, her first priority would be to get her sister to safety. "Where?"
"10 minutes, West."
I nodded, sending William to get reinforcements as I sprinted to the location, my heart pounding. "You better not die..." Images of the last few months flashed through my head. Reuniting after three long years of waiting, the events, her caring for Zoey, her with her family and her pack.
I fought tears that would blur my vision as trees went by. I couldn't let her die not when we had gotten so far. She opened up to me, the feel of her in my arms, beneath me, surrounding me. Bright grey eyes danced in my vision when I blinked. She had to live.
I heaved a breath and my mind went to the cave. She swore she would be with me in this life time and the next, she loved me though she never outright said it. I needed her to live or my life would be nothing. Alastair howled, his fears only amplifying my own. We paused our thoughts and cleared our minds, doing what we never had before. We prayed to the Moon Goddess. She has to survive...
A warm feeling filled my chest and eased my breathing as we continued. I didn't question it, knowing she heard me, but didn't slow knowing Violet was in danger. I heard the growls and shouts, pushing myself harder to make it to my mate. I had to help her even if it killed me. I felt their numbers, there was no way a single wolf stood a chance, but as I got closer the noise died down. My heart nearly stopped until I witnessed firsthand the destruction she was capable of.
The scene was horrifying, thousands of bodies laid with horrified expressions frozen on their faces, covered in blood. They were surrounded by scorched earth, it was clear those that tried to escape were burned alive. In the center of it all, kneeling, spattered in crimson was Violet. I was in shock when I heard her voice and a guttural moan. "I deliver you into Night's embrace."
She stood, a peaceful smile playing at her lips as she appreciated the masterpiece she expertly painted with her own hands. Her eyes met mine and I couldn't breathe, they were bright with excitement, one the color of steel, the other ultraviolet. It was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Alastair was clawing for release calling to Amethyst.
I took a step towards her hesitating for a millisecond before closing the distance and hugging her to my chest. If I was scared before, I was terrified now. Not for her, but of her. Regardless, in this moment as I tasted the blood of the slain on her lips, this was the most I ever loved her.

Ezekiel pulled back and I licked my lips, his taste mixed with the metallic blood I'd spilled. "You're getting dirty, Ezekiel."
His eyes were a clear green, I could find no fear or doubt in them after he saw what I had done. He should have ran as fast as he could in the other direction, but instead he was here holding me as though I would try to escape him. His smile made my heart pound harder than it had in the last 15 minutes I spent making my offering. I wanted him, all of him right there, but others were coming, I could feel them. "You are gorgeous, my bloodthirsty angel."
I raised my eyebrows before looking back at the carnage, it was satisfying as I replayed the screams, pleads, and final breaths in my head. "You are a strange one..."
He chuckled and kissed me again. "I love you... all of you."
I stepped back as his pack froze just outside where my fire barrier once stood. They were horrified, they were speechless. "I should clean up my mess, how disappointing..." I pulled him to the opposite edge and set the bodies on fire, the smell of burnt flesh filling the air.
I stood watching it, savoring it until there was nothing, but ash. "Deliver them just judgement."
It was as though the earth sighed as the wind scattered the ashes, leaving burnt land in its wake. Still, the warriors of his pack stood dumbfounded as he put his hand on my lower back and guided me to them. William gulped. "You..." His eyes swept the field, remembering what he saw. "By yourself..." He took in my blood spattered appearance. "As a human..."
I smirked. "To think, I let you all bully me when I was with you."
His mouth moved, silent for a moment until he found his words. "Though I never did anything, I apologize for us all."
I smiled. "No apologies needed... I don't hold grudges." I looked up at Ezekiel. "I need a shower." I eyed where blood had rubbed off on him. "And you do to, I don't like the blood of my enemies mixing with your scent."
He laughed. "Of course, Princess."
He lifted me and I rolled my eyes as I laid my head on his chest. "So unnecessary."
He kissed my head. "I know."
He took me to his home and captured my lips when we hit the bathroom. He set me on my feet and ripped my clothes to shreds as I reached to turn on the water before doing the same to his. We let the water rinse away the blood, hands everywhere, but not fulfilling our hunger.
He slammed me against the wall and I gasped as I was lifted to his height. I broke away to kiss and nip at his neck, wrapping my legs around him as his hand found my core. I whimpered as his circled my clit, fingers pulling sounds from me like a fine tuned instrument. I shook as I climaxed, throwing my head back in a silent scream.
He didn't slow making me fall apart again as they drove into me the second wave of ecstacy amplifying the first. I was breathless as I begged for more and he complied as I toppled for a third time. "Ezekiel, please."
He froze. "Are you sure, Violet?"
I grabbed his hair and assaulted his mouth. "Yes." He groaned and suddenly we were on the bed, his fingers in me again moving relentlessly. I arched beneath him unable to speak, pleading.
He laced his fingers through mine when I gasped as he positioned himself at my entrance. He waited still watching as his fingers ceased. I was panting as I saw his gold flecked, green eyes asking. "I want you..."
He bit his lip as his pushed into me, head falling as he moaned. I couldn't breathe until I gasped when he swiftly entered, tensing against the pain that lanced through me. He froze getting his bearings as I adjusted to his size. "Are you okay, Violet?" I took a slow breath and nodded. "I'm going to move now, scratch, bite, whatever you need."
I nodded again, unable to form words as he pulled out and pushed himself into me again, it hurt, but it felt good, it felt right. I moaned as he kept the same slow pace, each thrust deeper than the last until I took all of him. I bit into his shoulder squeezing his hands as he kissed my neck and shoulder, trying to soothe me.
Then, there was only pleasure and wrapped my legs around him matching his pace. He growled and started to move faster, stroking my insides until we both were lost in ecstacy, becoming one as pleasurable pressure threatened to eradicate us both. I felt him throb and grow and I moved faster, craving release.
Finally, there was nothing else as we both cried out, collapsing in a tangle of limbs after he pulled out to spill on the bed. We were breathless, tired, sated. It was an eternity before we could move again, numb with pleasure. He kissed me softly and pulled me onto his chest. "I love you."
I smirked, finally able to speak, mind no longer numb. "That's the sex talking."
