I bit my lip, debating. She will attack if she wakes up...
AAF: I'll take my chances.
I groaned when I felt him at the door and pulled it open, his smile was intoxicating. "You really want to die at her hands?"
He stepped in and closed the door quietly. "Might need to add ice cream to that breakfast."
I shook my head and plopped on the couch, wrapping a blanket around myself. "You should know that won't work."
He sighed. "She... is no normal child."
I smiked softly. "No... if you ever have the chance to catch her in a moment... it's mystifying..."
He sat too close for my comfort and I shifted away. "What do you mean?"
I searched for the words. "Her soul is old."
He stroked my cheek. "Are you sure she isn't yours? She is just like you."
I chuckled. "There are few requirements there that I don't meet."
His eyes shined. "I know..." He pulled me to him and I tensed. "Just to hold you."
I sighed. "Sorry..."
He wrapped his arms around me and turned on a random movie. "Don't apologize..." He moved us back so he was against the arm and settled. "It's going to be hard, watching you two leave again."
I looked up at him surprised. "Us two?"
He stroked my cheek. "You... and Zoey, though she hates me."
"She doesn't hate you."
He chuckled as his hands skimmed up my arms, still leaving goosebumps though they were covered with the blanket. "False, she loves you... so she hates me, but tolerates me for you."
I rolled my eyes. "You should ask her."
He went back down my arms, making my squirm. "I just might..."
I closed my eyes, fighting the feelings his touch was causing. "Please stop..."
His eyelids were lowered covering his green eyes. "You don't like it?"
I averted my gaze. "I... I don't know..."
He turned my face back to his and kissed me softly. "And that?"
I bit my lip, glancing at the bedrooms. "Ezekiel..."
He drew circles into my cheek. "You liked it earlier and I won't wake her, relax."
I lowered my gaze. "We can't..."
He put his forehead on mine. "Not until your ready." I nodded as I became curious and he closed his eyes. "Trust me?"
I looked into his eyes a desire burning within them when they opened. "Yes..." He smiled and kissed me again, hungrier than the first time. It sparked something inside of me as he ran his tongue along my bottom lip and tugged my hair to make me gasp. His tongue met mine and I tried to pull away, but he grabbed the back of my neck and explored.
He tasted like rain and I couldn't help, but match his movements to try to taste more. He groaned and lifted me to straddle him. It caught me off guard and I accidently bit his lip. He shuddered and pulled back. "Fuck... don't do that..."
I was breathless. "Sorry..."
He kissed my cheek. "It's okay..." His lips trailed lower, hands pulling my head back so he had better access to my neck and shoulders. I curled my fingers into his biceps as I started getting hot. His teeth grazed my neck and I flinched. "Relax, Violet..."
The way my name rolled off his tongue made me whimper and he pulled me closer, nibbling my ear as his hand glided down my neck. I closed my eyes enjoying as he set my skin on fire. He cupped my breast and I jumped, moaning as he began to knead. He captured my lips again, muffling the sounds he pulled from me. He pinched my now erect nipple and I shifted against him, making us both freeze as I brushed against his erection.
He slowly pulled back, leaving an unfamiliar ache within me. "We have to stop..." I didn't want him to and my wolf whined in protest. I tentatively combed through his hair with my fingers and his eyes closed as I felt a chill go down his spine. "Violet..."
I ignored his warning and kissed him deeply. He grabbed my hips as I mimicked his motions form earlier, kissing his face, neck and shoulders. When I felt his pulse beneath my lips a strong urge to bite him came over me. I paused, reigning in my instincts as his wolf growled in response. "I won't..."
I nuzzled the spot and his fingers dug into me causing pain, but pleasure struck my core as well. I grit my teeth against it and continued as I found a spot on his neck that made him jump as I grazed it. The feeling it gave him was delectable and I slid my tongue across it, causing him to groan and lift his hips under me. "Violet... I can't..."
I pulled back, hearing and feeling his strain. "Sorry..."
He breaths were labored as crimson and green danced in his eyes. "No... I loved it, but I can only hold back for so long."
I dropped my head. "If I normal... like the rest of you..."
I felt his anger at my words and looked at him in surprise. "I would never ask that of you."
I lowered my gaze. "But you wouldn't be..."
He cupped my cheek and kissed me, hard. It caught me off guard as he flipped me to my back and I felt fear as he hovered above me. "I won't hurt you..." He slowly lowered his body unto mine and wrapped me in his arms. "I don't want that because it's not you. This... it's hard, but it makes me happy. I'm learning more about you everyday first instead of giving in to lust and knowing later."
His weight made me ache more. "Ezekiel..." He shifted so my back was against his stomach, on our sides. He ensured the blanket stayed between us. "Thank you..."
He rubbed his face in my hair. "Get some sleep. I'll be sure to disappear before Zoey wakes."
I sighed feeling the pull and closed my eyes. "I'll go to your stupid ball. But I'm not talking, dammit."
His chuckle was laced with drowsiness. "As my date."
I pursed my lips. "Don't know about that yet."
He pulled me closer to rest his head on top of mine. "Either way... I'll take it..."
I smiled softly as I started to drift. "Good..."

Leaving her there was the hardest thing I'd done in a while, but I had to be gone before Zoey woke up. She looked peaceful and I sighed, kissing her head before taking myself from around her. She was curious and that delighted me. I felt her submit to my touch and enjoy it, it took all I had to stop especially when she pushed for more.
I laid in bed staring at ceiling, remembering her taste, her sounds, the way her breaths came up short. She was perfect, though she didn't see it since she was different from everyone else. Nothing about the Season appealed to her. Her thoughts didn't get clouded with lust, mind stayed sharp while everyone else's became hazy, like she was the only one not taking some powerful drug that made them lose control.
But, she could feel all of those things, she only felt them with me. I smiled. No, I didn't want her to be like everyone else. I would detest it, though I know even if she was effected she wouldn't give in to those urges. I didn't want any man to try their luck and succeed because she lost control in that moment.
I loved her, of that I had no doubt since I saw her being bullied in the hallway, but this... she was mine and it made my life easier knowing she literally wanted nothing to do with anyone else. She wasn't blind to the way men looked at her or followed her. She hated it when other girls would have reveled in it. The power to make men chase her, want her, please her if she so chose. I closed my eyes content, knowing no matter how far we were apart no one else stood a chance.
