Ezekiel kissed my hand as we walked.  "You kill beautifully, Princess."

I frowned.  "He didn't even put up a fight, so anticlimactic."

He chuckled.  "But he is dead."

I sighed.  "And will stay that way hopefully, he and his wolf.  I have no wish to see them again."

He kissed the top of my head.  "Same..."

We went into the Warden's hotel suite and he gestured to some chairs.  "Please... I'll get some drinks."

Xavier and William stuck close to our flanks, standing behind us as we complied, probably not in the way he expected because I was in Ezekiel's lap stroking his face and neck.  He stilled my hands.  "Soon..."

I pouted, the lack luster of taking his life did nothing to sate my hunger.  "I need to figure out if I can bring him back just to kill him again."

Xavier looked away from us.  "I'm not ready, stop talking."

William smirked.  "Considering their hair is still wet, looked like a steamy shower."

I began to blush and Ezekiel glared at him and stroked my face.  "Just need some answers."

His fingers passed over my lips and I bit one.  "Well, well, well..."

Ezekiel smiled softly, when I wouldn't let go, then looked at Derek behind me.  "Thought we would just be speaking with the Warden."

I could feel him looking at my back and felt Ezekiel's annoyance, so I suckled on the finger between my teeth, making him look at me in disbelief.  "He said I needed to hear this."

I smirked and released him.  "Behave."

He pursed his lips.  "I'm not the one misbehaving."

I shifted to turn and face Derek and felt his erection beneath me, he let out a slow breath.  "What exactly are we hearing?"

Regis came in with the drinks and I eyed them as they were already poured.  He smiled.  "I hope you like whiskey."

He set the tray down and something felt off, so I stopped William as he reached for a drink.  "Not partial to it I'm afraid."

I saw the surprise in his eyes.  "This is a go-"

I leaned back against Ezekiel.  "I smell Valerian Root... trouble sleeping?"

He stilled.  "Your nose is impeccable."

I stood, pulling Ezekiel with me.  "I don't know what you want, but I have interest in helping someone who would poison us."

He blinked.  "That wa-"

Ezekiel sniffed the air.  "You have Devil's Helmet here as well, not in the drinks though."

William looked at him.  "Wolf's Bane?"

I nodded.  "One and the same."

We all moved toward the door.  "Wait."  I looked over my shoulder.  "I'm sorry, I figured if I could get you to the council it would be easier to convince you... if you don't help we will all die."

I looked up at Ezekiel, who started to guide me toward the door.  "Then you can have a meeting set up with the were-council.  You have dissolved our trust with you."

I laced my fingers through his.  "Where is this council?"

He shrugged and we turned when we felt someone rushing after us.  "Wait!"  Derek ran up and was immediately blocked by William and Xavier.  "Please, I'm not trying to cause trouble."

I raised my eyebrows.  "Then..."

He met my gaze.  "I just... wanted to say, I'm sorry."  He looked at Ezekiel.  "To you too."

I tilted my head.  "Why the sudden change in heart?"

He pursed his lips.  "Because I may be an asshole, but I'm not stupid.  Whatever you got going on here is like... more supernatural than the normal supernatural.  I felt it when you said this Moon Goddess is who we came from, only a fool wouldn't have.  It rung true to my core."

I held his gaze.  "Okay."

He clenched his jaw.  "What you did when you killed that guy... what was that?"

"Why?"

He furrowed his brow.  "Something... someone responded, it wasn't a normal killing, when you took his life it was like he was taken by whatever you were calling to."

I nodded.  "He was an offering to Nyx."

He met my gaze.  "I've felt her before..."

I studied his face and the aura of his wolf, neither seemed familiar.  A new pair of souls...  "When?"

He frowned.  "When I woke up in the hospital when I was six..."  I stayed silent.  "I don't remember anything before, but she said I needed to live, I had a purpose."

I lowered my gaze.  "Seems you want answers I don't have.  It's late... you should get some sleep."

He looked at me in dismay.  "You don't get it... I can't leave... this is the closest I've come to anyone who knows anything."

I furrowed my brow.  "Your dad won't let you stay here."

He bit his lip.  "But... maybe in order to get you to the council, he'll let me stay a short time."

Try as I might, I couldn't get a single bad feeling about what he was saying.  "Let me think about it.  I need to consult with my pack."

He relaxed a fraction.  "Please, I swear to you I won't do anything to harm any of your people."

I nodded.  "May need to seal that in blood, but I'll let you know."

I looked up at Ezekiel who like me didn't know how to take his actions.  "I don't trust you."

He scowled.  "I deserve that, but maybe... I can change your opinion.  Just give me a chance."

I tugged his sleeve.  "We're done here."  He nodded and we left.  "An eventful day."

We parted ways with our Betas.  "Very eventful."

I observed his eyes.  "I thought you would hate me after today."

He looked down at me.  "I could never hate you, but I was pissed."

I looked at the ground.  "And now?"

He lifted my chin.  "Let me show you."

Her lust was intoxicating, it made it very hard to concentrate especially when she bit my finger.  Fuck... if she keeps this up...

Alastair chuckled.  You have no idea...

I had to wonder about what he meant as she distracted me from Derek.  "Behave."  The fuck... she's the one...  Alastair laughed as we were about to just snatch them away to have them to ourselves.

I was all too happy when we finally made it back to her house.  I picked her up.  "Wai-"  It was too late as I was tossing her on the bed, she was really light to be so strong.  She shrieked my name as she landed and I was already pulling at her shirt.  She struggled playfully as I felt no fear from her until I looped her shirt around her wrists.

She looked at me wide eyed.  "What are yo-"

I kissed her hungrily.  "Trust me?"  She searched my face heart racing.  "I won't... not until your ready."

She relaxed and slowly nodded.  I finished tying her to the bed and assaulted her lips again, she was breathless as I broke away, squirming beneath me as she couldn't use her hands.  I had to pause when she brushed against me, it was almost too much.  "Relax..."

Her pout almost undid me, but much to Alastair's displeasure I didn't give in.  I tasted and explored to my heart's content.  Listening to her, feeling as she was driven mad with pleasure.  I couldn't drink enough of her sweet nectar as she trembled and convulsed every time she came for me.  She was perfect and I loved her.
