Too Much Pressure

Aradhya's POV

" Hey!!!" Juliet sat next to me and I smiled.

" Hi, Romeo!!! Sorry, Juliet." I chuckled and she rolled her eyes then joined me laughing.

" Had Mrs. Greene kicked you out of the class yesterday?" She asked me and I sighed deeply.

" I was a bit lost yesterday. I was not able to concentrate. It wasn't her fault at all." I said to her and she nodded.

" I don't like her either. She is such a headache." She said.

" I think you don't like Geography. That's why you are blaming Mrs. Greene." The girl named Jordana sat next to her. I chuckled.

" Geography sucks." I said to her.

" I agree with you. Only you are in my team. They are my enemies." Juliet said and I laughed.

" Where are others?" I asked her.

" They haven't reached yet." Jordana said to me. I nodded.

I tried to remember all of her friend's name. Gabrielle, Heidi, Whitney, Jordana, Asher and Ardeyn. I hope I am right with their names.

" Oh, ok ok." I said and we kept talking.

I found Gabrielle entering the class room. Heidi and Whitney were following them. They reached us and sat next to Jordana.

" Hey, Latte..." I found Ardeyn smirking at Juliet who just rolled her eyes.

" What?!!" She said to him. He smirked at her.

" Heard you were not doing well?" Ardeyn asked her.

" Yes, so?!!" Juliet asked.

" It was very peaceful last 3 days as you were not around. But my only question is how had your family members managed to survive your tantrums?!!" He asked her and she took a book before hitting his head with the book.

" Ouch!!!" Ardeyn rubbed his head where she hit him with the book. " See?! You are always a volcano which can erupt anytime. Who wishes to die so soon?! I am still young to die." He said and she gritted.

" You are so irritating. Do you know that, Ardeyn?" Juliet asked him.

" No. Lana never told that to me. She said completely opposite." He said to her. She narrowed her eyes at him.

" Who is Lana?" She asked him with a cold tone.

" Oh, she is my girlfriend." He said. She rolled her eyes.

" She must be blind then." She said and he chuckled.

" You must be jealous, Latte." He said. She gritted.

" Excuse me!!! Why would I be jealous?!!" She asked him and he shrugged.

" God knows but you definitely are." He said and she rolled her eyes.

" Funny!!! Very funny." She said and he chuckled.

He was about to say something but Mrs. Greene entered the class and he went back to his seat as he sat next to Asher.

" Do Asher and Ardeyn always stuck with each other?" I asked Gabrielle. She chuckled.

" They are cousins more like brothers. They are best friends as well. So, yeah.. they are always stuck with each other." Gabrielle said. I nodded.

They make me miss my cousins as well. Dee, Rahul, Rides, Akka, Anna. I miss them all. When will I meet them again?!! I sighed.

" Where are you lost, Aradhya?" Gabrielle elbowed me. I shook my head.

" Nowhere." I said and concentrate on my class.

It was a very tiring day when I finished my classes and I walked out of there. I brought my phooljhari with me today. I was walking out of there when I heard someone calling my name. I turned to see Asher, Ardeyn and Gabrielle.

" Hey, guys!!!" I said to them.

" The notes you asked for are here. If you need my help then do tell me. I will try my best to help you." Asher said to me handing me the notebooks of his.

" Thank you so much for the help. I will return them in a week." I said to him. He chuckled.

" No rush. Take your time." He said and I nodded. He is very nice, isn't he!!!

" Are you going back home?" Gabrielle asked me.

" Yes. Why?" I asked her.

" Can I come with you?" She asked me.

" But our home is not in the same way. Your's is on the opposite." I said to her.

" Actually, I love your bicycle. I want a ride." She said and I shook my head chuckling.

" Her name is phooljhari." I said to her.

" Whose name?!" Ardeyn asked weirdly.

" My bicycle's." I said to him. He rolled his eyes.

" Your bicycle has a name!!!" He asked me.

" Yes, phooljhari." I said to him.

" Pool what?!!" He asked me and I rolled my eyes.

" Not Pool it's phool. Phooljhari." I said to him.

" What does it mean?" He asked me.

" It's ..." How to explain a British the meaning of phooljhari?!! " It's like a firecracker." I said to him.

" Why would someone name a bicycle!!! That too name it a bicycle??! Why?" Ardeyn asked me. I rolled my eyes.

" I do." I said and he chuckled.

" Yup. I can see that." He said.

" Ok, now you two get lost we will go back home." Gabrielle said to Asher and Ardeyn. I chuckled inwardly. She is so cute.

We reached her house in 10 minutes. I was very shocked seeing the mansion. It could be  replaced with the palace. Beautiful house it was. I didn't imagine Gabrielle being that rich!!! Most of the kids of the school are from a rich family. I feel so awkward there. Mom shouldn't have admitted me in that school. It added much expenses on the list. I dropped her at home though she requested me to go inside but I politely refused cause I needed to go back home. Mom went to talk to someone for a job. I hope we have a positive news today. I went back home and found Mom there at home already. May be she couldn't manage the job. I sighed deeply. When will this sufferings come to an end??!

" Maa!!!" I called her.

" Ari, agye tum?" (You came back, Ari?) She said and I nodded. " How was your day?" She asked me.

" It was good." I said.

" I got a job but it is not enough for the expenses. I am searching for another one. Hoping to get one soon." She said and I sighed. There was too much pressure for us.
