Asher's POV
" You told her everything?" Ardeyn asked me.
" She decided to trust Susan over me." I said to him.
" You should have asked her first." He said.
" I did." I said to him.
" She accepted it?" He asked me and I nodded.
" She said there is nothing to disbelieve Susan." I said and he sighed deeply.
" Who knows may be she was confused." He said.
" There is no confusion. I couldn't reach that place for her to be a trustworthy one." I said to him.
" She do trust you. If she didn't then she would roam around with you alone at night. It's Susan who is making her confused. She didn't do anything here." He said and I rolled my eyes.
" Don't take her side this time. She has to understand what is wrong and what is right. This time she will reach me. I am not going to reach her anymore." I said to him and he shook his head.
" You are making the same mistakes once again." He said and I rolled my eyes.
" She didn't realize that because you never told her." He said and I look out of the window.
" She needs to understand the difference between a friend and lover." I said to him and he chuckled.
" If you want to make her understand the difference between a friend and a lover you should kiss her." He said and hot a hard glare from me but as always it didn't work on him. He kept grinning ear to ear. I sighed deeply.
" Do you want to talk to Susan about it?" He asked me and I sighed deeply.
" No need." I said to him.
" She is the reason behind everything." He said to me.
" I told her clearly that I don't like her but she never took me seriously. I think I should make it serious now. She should know that I am not a member trophy to win what she is trying to do." I said to him.
" That's why I was telling you to meet her and make things clear." Ardeyn said but I shook my head. I don't want to meet her. I don't want to see her face as well." He said to me. " You are too much, Asher. This thing will make you suffer a lot in future mark my words." He said to me.
" I have another plan but your dear friend Ari should realize that she is the girl I love not a girl whom I care just as a friend." I said to him and he sighed deeply.
" Leave it. How is Ari's dad?" He asked me.
" Overprotective as hell." I said and he chuckled.
" Every girl's father is overprotective when it comes about their daughter." He said to me.
" He was too smart. I mean it was our first meeting but he already understood that I wasn't just a friend of his daughter. Then why is his daughter this dumb??!" I asked frustratedly. Ardeyn chuckled.
" Relax, things will get better soon. I bet he is a nice person." He said to me.
" He is very nice and he is a very good cook." I said to him and he chuckled. " He cooks better than Mom, trust me."
" I missed it then. Next time I will be there with you." He said and I chuckled. "Aradhya's life made her too sensitive about things. She never let her emotions to win her over. She has to think several times that if her actions will make her pay in the long run or not. So, if she is a bit careful in choosing the right and wrong, you can't really blame her for that. She has her own reasons for being careful about choosing things for herself." he said and I sighed deeply.
" I will die Virgin if I follow her pace." I said to him and he laughed his lungs out.
" You are whipped, Asher. You are whipped." He said and I rolled my eyes.
" I will see you when it's your turn." I said to him.
" My strategy is simple. My parents don't hold any grudges against the Kentworths. So, it won't be a problem for me." He said to me.
" What about Juliet?" I asked him.
" That is also simple. I will kidnap her and her parents and make her sign the wedding license on gun point." He said and I rolled my eyes.
" Flop plan." I said to him and he chuckled.
" It's not at all. You will see when the time comes. She will have no other option left but agreeing with me." He said to me.
" Then why are you acting to be angry with her?! We both know that you don't. Then why are you hurting her?" I asked him. He rolled his eyes.
" If I act so friendly with her then her parents will send her away from us to keep her away from getting involved with us. You have no idea what Juliet's father actually can do." He said to me and I chuckled.
" You are also whipped, My friend. You are also whipped." I said to Ardeyn and he rolled his eyes.
" I am not badly stuck here like you are." He said to me and I rolled my eyes.
" Mr. Bradley asked me to meet him. I don't know why he wants to meet me now." I said to him.
" Heard he is leaving UK and going to settle down in the US with his other siblings." He said and I nodded sighing deeply.
" His mother also passed away few months back so he doesn't have any other reasons to be here." I said to him and he nodded.
" Let's meet him after college tomorrow." He said to me and I nodded.
" Well then and try to make things clear to Ari. Try to confess. She deserves to have a beautiful proposal." He said and I sighed.
" I don't want to do anything anymore. She has to reach me this time. I am not going to tell her that I love her before that." I said to him.
" Then you should try it now. I have already reached you, Asher." I heard Aradhya's voice and turned to see her at once.
She was standing there on the doorstep. Ardeyn smirked and walked out of there. Before I could say anything Aradhya reached me and clutched on my t-shirt near my chest.
" I called my dad and he said that it's time to take an initiative now." She said.
" For what?" I tried to make distance between us but she crashed her lips on mine already. My eyes opened widened at once. What was she doing?!!
She moved back and I found that she has taken a picture of us kissing on her phone. I looked at her weirdly when she send it to Susan.
" Burn bi*ch!! Burn." She said. I couldn't say anything on her childishness.
