The Clan

Aradhya's POV

It's been a month since that day Mr. Bradley visited us. He never ever showed up after that but they have filed for the custody case and it's in 3 months. Who cares!!! We will see them in the courtroom. Suddenly Dee's voice brought me back to reality.

" Ari, put it on speaker." Dee said as her phone was ringing and she was doing her makeup. I did that. We were invited to Axton's place this evening.

" Yeah, I am getting ready. Just don't whine for kisses now cause I can't do it now. Let me reach there then ask for it, damn it." She said to Mr. Axton as soon as I picked up the call. He called her 17 times in last 30 minutes and she was damn pissed.

" Ahemmm, I am not Noel, Diya. I am Natasha." We heard Natasha's voice and Dee facepalmed herself. I laughed silently.

" Oh, I am sorry, Natasha. I didn't thought that it's you." Dee said and sighed deeply.

" It's ok, Diya." She said. " You're coming or not?" She asked Dee.

" I am coming in a while." Dee said.

"Oh, I thought this stupid boy has pissed you off too much that you decided not to come." Natasha said.

" No, no. I am coming." Dee said.

" Yeah and what about your family? You remember mom invited them as well? Are they coming?" Natasha asked Dee.

" Yeah, we are coming. Me, my aunt, brothers and cousin." Dee said.

" That's great. Come soon. The clan is waiting for you." She said.

" Clan?!" Dee asked nervously. "They all are there?" Dee asked her.

" Yes, everyone is here and they are waiting for you." She said and I chuckled. I am very excited to meet Eleanore Stewart. I am a big fan of her.

" Everyone?!" Dee asked.

" Yes, girl. Now come fast." She said.

" Come fass." We heard a babyish voice and recognized it that it was Chase.

" Aww, Chasie pie." Dee said and he giggled.

" Yes, even Chase and Leonore is waiting for you." Natasha said.

" Where is Natalie? Is she joining the party?" Dee asked her.

It was Mr and Mrs. Axton's wedding anniversary. Such a lovely couple they are. I asked about Natalie cause I recently got to know that she is pregnant and as her last pregnancy was not a good experience for her and she got complications in her pregnancy, so this time her family is so much worried and careful about her. I pray that there is no complications this time and this goes smoothly. I just pray for that.

" Yeah, she is joining the party but she will leave early." Natasha said.

" Ok, I am coming." Dee said and I smiled.

" yeah come soon." She said.

" Bye then see you in the party." Dee said.

" Bye, Diya. See you." She said and hung up. I kept her phone down and she got ready.

I looked at myself on the mirror. I was wearing the her red gown which Juliet gifted me on my birthday recently. I loved it. She has a great fashion sense.

" Kya hua Chhoti?" (What happened, Chhoti?) Dee asked me.

" Ready to go?" I asked her.

" Haan." (Yes.) She said.

" To Chalo." (Let's go then) I said.

" Chhoti, tum bohot pyaari lag rahi ho." (Chhoti, you're looking very pretty) Dee said to me and I chuckled..

" Main to hoon hi chhoti se pyaari si bachhi." (I am cute little baby only) I said in a babyish voice like a little kid and shr chuckled. She kissed my head and I smiled widely.

" Haan. Paata hai mujhe." (Yes, I know) she said. I chuckled.

" Aap bhi bohot pyaari lag rahi ho, Dee. Party mai Mr. Axton sai thodi dur hi rehna. Kyun ki agar woh beech party mai saabke samne apko kiss ker dia to accha nahi dikhega." (You're looking so beautiful as well. Stay away from Mr. Axton in the party cause you know it won't be good if he kisses you in the middle of the party in front of everyone.) I said smirking at her and ran away. Her eyes open widened at my words. I laughed.

" Chhoti ki bacchi, Badmash!!!" (Chhoti, you little devil!!!) She said and ran after me to catch me. I reached downstairs sticking my tongue out at her.

" Chalo, Dee. Der ho rahi hai." (Let's go, dee. it's getting late.) My cousin Rudra said to us. I nodded. We came out and found Rick waiting for us. Rick was the chauffeur whom Mr. Axton appointed for Dee after an unexpected incident happened to her.

" Good afternoon, ma'am." He greeted Dee.

" Good afternoon, Rick." Dee said and sighed.

" Thank you, Rick." I said as he opened the door for Mom and me.

" You're welcome, Ms. Roy." He said and I rolled my eyes.

I couldn't make him call me by my name untill now. But one day I will make it. I can do that.

" It's Ari. Try to call it, Dude. It's not hard. Just A.R.I. as simple as that." I said.

But Rick just smiled and closed the door as I got in the car. We all got in the car and Rick started to drive it. I checked the time looking at my my wrist watch. It was 6:30 in the evening. Dee was very nervous to meet Mr. Axton's family. She kept saying the whole night yesterday what if they don't like her!!! I mean like really??! Is there anything which can make anyone hate her??!

" So eager to see your Mr. Axton?!" I whispered in Dee's ear. She narrowed her eyes at me which didn't work on me. I kept smirking at her and she rolled her eyes.

" Chup raho." She said. (Keep quiet) which made me giggle and the car stopped in front of Axton's mansion.

" There you go. We reached." I said winked at her. She sighed.

I got out of the car and I was damn nervous. This was my first time in Axton's mansion and also the first time meeting his family. I have met only Mr. Axton and his sisters along with his niece Leonore and nephew Chasen.

" This way, ma'am." We heard Rick and nodded.

He lead us inside the mansion. We entered the mansion and it wasn't much crowded yet. We came earlier as Mr. Axton was whining to come earlier.

" There are Mr. & Mrs. Axton, ma'am." Rick pointed at them who were talking to some people. I smiled at them. The power couple of UK. We reached them. They smiled at us. Mrs. Axton is very beautiful. Natalie and Natasha got their ginger red hair from their mother. I see.

" Happy anniversary, ma'am. Happy anniversary, sir." Dee said to them and they smiled.

" Thank you, Diya. Thanks for coming, Ms. Roy and all of you kids." Mrs. Axton said.

" You're welcome, Mrs. Axton." Mom said.

Soon the party started and people started to gather. Mom meet some of her colleagues there and started to talk with them. We are standing like aliens there. I was searching for the great Noel Axton who was no where to be found. I suddenly found Natalie reaching us.

" Heyyy!!" She said and hugged Dee.

" Hi, Natalie. How are you?" Dee said and she smiled.

" I am fine. What about you?" She asked Dee.

" I am fine." Dee said. " They are my brothers and she is my cousin."

" Hi, kids." She gave all of us a hug. I chuckled. She is warm and welcoming.

" You must be Aradhya, right?" Natalie asked me. .

" Yes, it's me and you are the famous Natalie Axton, right?" I asked her back. She chuckled.

" Absolutely right you are." She said smilingly. " Let's go guys. Let's meet others. They are waiting." She said and lead us to the other side of the hall. She was damn nervous. I chuckled. She was nervous to meet the clan.
