Aradhya's POV

" There they are." Mrs. Bradley said as soon as Mom and I entered the living room of Bradley House. I smiled at them.

" Good evening, Mrs. Bradley." I said and gave her a warm hug and she returned it wholeheartedly.

" Good evening, Ari sweetheart." She said giving me a sweet smile and I smiled back at her.

" Come. Have a seat." She said. " This is my son Jacob and Jacob this is Shivani and her daughter Ari." She introduced us with her son.

I turned to see the guy standing next to Mrs. Bradley with a cold expression on his face. He has hazel eyes like Mrs. Bradley which were looking at both Mom and me sharply. I quickly inspected him. He might be in his early 30s. He didn't say anything in return so Mom took the initiative.

" Hello, Mr. Bradley. I am Shivani Roy. Nice to meet you." Mom said extending her hand toward him. He looked at her once again then shook hand with her.

" Jacob Bradley. Nice to meet you too, Ms. Roy." He said to her. Mom nodded smilingly. I kept standing there silently.

" Ari, Say hi to Mr. Bradley." Mom said and I smiled.

" Hello, Mr. Bradley. Aradhya Roy. Nice to meet you." I said to him and he nodded smilingly.

Mrs. Bradley started to talk to us after that introduction part and Jacob left to attend an important call. I was getting bored sitting there listening to the ladies talking about life and other things. I sighed and took my phone to check the texts. I rolled my eyes as I found there was a big fight in the group. A world war 3. I mean it's between Juliet and Ardeyn. They were having a fight and everyone else were trying to stop them but I didn't. I kept enjoying this. This was the biggest entertainment ever for me. I mean I am new here that's why I am not used to this fight. They were used to it. After awhile they stopped trying to stop them fighting. I chuckled. Crazy they both are. I was checking the texts of them when I got a call from Asher. Why is he calling me at this hour?!

" Mom!!" I called my Mom.

" Yes, Ari!!" She said.

" I got a phone call. I am just coming." I said to her.

" Ok. Go. Have the phone call." She said.

I nodded and walked out of there. I picked the call up.

" Hello, Asher!!" I said.

" Hello, Aradhya." He said. I chuckled silently.

" Why has the great Asher Milverton called me suddenly? Hmm?" I asked him. He chuckled.

" Ms. Roy, you left your notebook in the classroom." He said to me.

" Oh, how do you know that?" I asked him.

" Cause, I have your notebook. I am on my way to your place." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Hey, no need to do so. You can return it tomorrow as well." I said to him.

" I am almost there. I will be there in half an hour." He said.

" But Asher... No need to come here. I am not at home." I said to him.

" Oh, where are you?! Text me the address I will be there." He said and I shook my head.

" I have come to my neighbor's house. She invited us on dinner." I said to him.

" Oh ok. I will be waiting for you. You have dinner." He said.

" But Asher, I might be late. You keep the notebook on the doorstep. I will take it from there." I said to him.

" No problem. I am here. I will be waiting for you. No worries." He said to me.

" But Asher..." I was saying but he hung up the call. I sighed deeply.

This boy is crazy!!! I was walking inside when I found Jacob talking to someone in the lawn.

" Yes, it's her and her daughter is also with her." He said which stopped me at once.

What is he talking about?!! Is he talking about Mom and me?!! I hide myself behind the pillar.

" Dude, I have searched for her whole London and she was just around." He said.

" I will see what that Fletcher can do. I don't care about him anymore." Jacob said.

" No. Don't do anything to them until I tell you." He said.

" Ok. But what about that one?" He asked the person who was on the other side of the phone.

" Do I look like I care?! I don't care." He said.

" He is not my friend anymore. He is a traitor." Jacob said.

" Yes. Keep your eyes on Fletcher. I will talk to you later." He said and hung the call up before walking into the house.

I sighed deeply. I had no idea with whom he was talking about and what was he talking about. I don't know why it seems like he was talking about Mom and me. But why would he talk about Mom and me??! There is no reason for him to do so. Most important question is does he know Mom and me?!! If not then why would he say that Mom and I were here?!! Very complicated!!!

I have no idea what was going on. I just walked into the house and found everyone were waiting for me in the dinner table. I sat next to Mom.

" Ari, where have you gone?" Mom asked me.

" Mom, I told you that I had to take a call." I said to her.

" Everyone is waiting for you, beta." She said and I nodded.

" Asher called me, Mom. I left my notebook in the class and he is coming to return it to me." I said to her and she nodded.

We had dinner after that and I examined Jacob with the corner of my eyes several times but I couldn't find anything suspicious. He was having dinner silently. Am I thinking too much about this?!! May be what I am thinking about was not the right thing!!! Who knows!!!

After dinner I came back home as Asher was waiting for me. Mom was there talking to Mrs. Bradley. I was thinking about the incident earlier when I bumped into someone. I looked up and found Asher standing there looking at me weirdly.

" I am sorry." I said to him.

" It's ok, Ari but watch out. You were walikg in the middle of the road." He said to me and I doing us standing in the middle of the road.

How have I reached here!!!! Am I going mad??! Ari!!! You are stupid!! I sighed deeply. Problem is not ending in my life. It is continuously getting worst day by day.
