" Maa, main chaali jayuni. Aap tension maat kaaro." (Mom, I will go by myself. You don't worry.) Aradhya said to Shivaani who was insisting to come with her.

" Where are you going, Ari my girl?" Jacob wrapped his arm around Aradhya's shoulder.

" Going to Dad's place." Aradhya said.

" Come. I will drop you there." Jacob said to her.

" No." Ari said and he narrowed his eyes at her.

" Why not?" Jacob asked her.

" I mean can manage it myself." Aradhya said.

" Manage it yourself? Has Arjun send car for you?! You were saying that your car is in servicing." Jacob said.

" Ufffooo. Come here." Aradhya hold his hand and dragged him away from her mother.

" Asher is waiting for outside." Aradhya said.

" Oh." He chuckled.

" We were planning to go to Cassidy's place and help Gabi. The girls are there. I got the permission from dad too." Aradhya whispered.

" Why haven't you told your mother then?" He whispered back.

" Mom wouldn't let me go if she knows cause I was having fever last week. You know she is very sensitive about me." Aradhya said.

" Ok. You go. I will manage your mom." He said and Aradhya chuckled before giving him a hug.

" You are one of the best fathers in the world, Jacob. Love you." Aradhya said and ran out of the house.

" Ariiiiiiiiii!!! Ariiiiiiiiii!!! Listen to me!!! Ufff, God. This girl!!" Shivaani said shaking her head.

" Let her go, Honey. She must be missing her father." Jacob said wrapping his arm around her shoulder. She narrowed her eyes at him.

" What were you two talking awhile back?" She asked him.

" It's Dad and daughter's secret. Why are you interfering in that, Babe?" He asked her and she rolled her eyes.

" We are no more teenagers to use such endearings, Jacob." Shivaani said.

" I didn't know that endearings are age restricted." He said and she rolled her eyes.

" I mean those words sounds so childish to me." Shivaani said.

" Can't help it. I am going to call you with those endearings. I missed all those years. I don't want to miss anything anymore, Sweetheart. I want to live everyday just like I wanted to live all those years. Just like my dreams." He said before leaning and pecking on her lips. She looked at him weirdly then chuckled shaking her head.

" You are a crazy kid." She said to him.

" Yes, I am a crazy kid of 39, I mean soon to be 40." He said and she laughed.

" Aradhya said I am not old yet." Shivaani said.

" You still look as beautiful as before when I had seen you for the first time. You are still that beautiful to me." He said kissing on her knuckles. She chuckled.

" Then I could have a younger husband as well." She said and he rolled his eyes.

" Try me, Babe. Try me." He said.

" You are an evil. You know that?" She asked him and he chuckled.

" I know that." He said. " I am just crazy about you."

"  That's why you were leaving without saying anything? I should have slapped you hard after I heard that recording. You thought that if you come to my life I then Ari won't be accepting it?! Now see now smart my daughter is?" Shivaani said.

" I know she is smart. She is an angel for me." He said. She rolled her eyes.

" But you were leaving. You must had plan to move on with someone else." She said to him.

" I was planning to kidnap you and marry you anyhow to keep you by my side." He said and she looked at him weirdly.

" Like really?!" She asked him.

" Yes. But then I thought if I do this you will hate me rest of the life." He said.

" You are a kid." She said sighing deeply. He wrapped his arms around her waist and captured her lips with his.

" I couldn't move on with anyone else. I tried a lot to forget you and move on in my life but it was impossible for me. You think I could do that now. All these years I had my eyes stuck on you. I couldn't concentrate on anyone else. Call me crazy, call me mad I don't care." He said to her and she shook her head seeing his expression.

" You are too childish." She said. He pouted.

" When will we have children?" He asked her and she chuckled.

" We have Ari." She said.

" We should give Ari dozens of siblings. She loves babies. You see how happy she was with Dastan and Diana?" He asked her.

" Dozens?!!" She asked him weirdly.

" Do you want to have more?" He asked her.

" Shut up!!!" She said and he laughed.

" If we got married in the first place then we had a dozen of kids by now." He said and she glared at him.

" Then you go get pregnant." She said moving away from him and walking toward the kitchen. He chuckled and walked upstairs.

" Where is Melanie today?" He asked her.

" Melanie went to Heidi's place. Her Mom invited Melanie for a dinner. Your words effected her much. She wants to do something in her life and she is interested in business. I thought Mrs. Brentwood will be a better option. So, I talked to her and went to talk to her about her start-up plans." Shivaani said and Jacob chuckled then gave her an evil smirk. She rolled her eyes. " Not now." She said.

" Who is going to listen to you?" He walked toward her.

" I have to prepare the dinner." She said. But he scooped her up at once.

" I have you to eat." He said and she rolled her eyes.

She knew what was coming to the next as he kicked the door behind to shut it and threw her on the bed before removing the t-shirt and throwing it on the corner of the room.

She was lying lazily on the bed keeping her head on his bare chest. His hands were making lazy patterns on her bare back. She thought for awhile and smiled.

" Bring me a t-shirt. It's cold." She said.

" I have another plan to make you feel warm." He said and she chuckled.

" I need the t-shirt now and need sleep as well." She said and he chuckled pecking on her lips before he walked toward the closet. She could see the marks on his back which were made by her only. She chuckled.

" What are these, Honey?" Jacob asked seeing the box completely shocked as he was holding a pair of baby shoes. She chuckled.

" One of the dozens on the way." She said and he was still looking at her shocked.

She smiled as tears slipped down his cheeks. She was going to miss all these happiness which she thought she wasn't worthy of. But she forgot that no one can change the fate. It can't be avoided. She was to end up with him and it was unavoidable.
