More Than That

Aradhya's POV

" How is Arjun doing, Ari?" Mom asked me as soon as sat on the breakfast table.

Arjun is that man who had an accident that day. It was 3 weeks already and we came back after 3 days when he was in sense. I met him once. He wasn't saying anything just was looking at me silently. I think he hashurt his brain in that accident. I asked my aunt about him and she said that he was going better now.

" He has come out of coma. You should call bua g. She knows the updates well." I said to her.

" Will you go and visit him again?" Mom asked me.

I looked at Mom narrowing my eyes. I mean if it was in London I would definitely go and check him again but it's there in Delhi. I have piles of works pending already. Our new single is going to be out in 2 weeks. We have to do a lot for the promotion and then we have the shoot for new music videos. I have a tight schedule. We managed time for Asher's birthday very difficulty.

" Mom, I don't have time. I am having a tight schedule." I said to her and she sighed.

" Ok. No pressure on you." She said and I nodded. At least she didn't force me to go there.

" Thanks, Mom. I am going. I need to be in the studio as soon as it possible." I said taking my bag.

" Ok. Take care. I will go to the Axton's place after office. Don't be worried." She said.

" Alright, Mom. I can be late as well. It's Asher's birthday tomorrow. So, I have to be present there in the arrangements. I can be late as well. I will call you if I stuck there and stay at Juliet's place." I said to her and she nodded.

" Ok, Bye, Mom." I said to her and walked out of the dining hall.

" Bye, Ari. Take care." She said and I nodded.

I was confused why my mom and my aunt are so worried about that man Arjun. Bua g definitely knew him but she doesn't want to reveal his identity. I was very confused about their behavior. Anyways, I don't have time to think about them. I walked out of the house and was going toward the garage to took my 'phooljhari'. I was missing her badly but I found Asher standing there near the entrance. He was checking his phone and may not be aware of my presence.

" Good morning!!" I said to him and he smiled.

" Good morning, Aradhya. Are you ready to go to the studio?" He asked me.

" Yes." I said and checked him out head to toe.

He was looking as dashing as ever in formal attire. He must be going to office today. He is very responsible and matured and me here is the most clumsy girl ever. I shook my head. 

" Come." He said holding my hand.

" Where to, Asher? Don't you have to go to office today?" I asked him.

" I will drop you at the studio." He said and I nodded.

There is no point of arguing with him cause he managed time for me even though he has a hectic schedule these days. If I don't go with him now then it will hurt him as well. He opened the door for me and I got in the car. He went to the other side and got in the car before sitting next to me.

" Where is Ardeyn today?" I asked him.

" He is in the office already handling things for me." He said.

" Asher, if you are late then you should have gone to office already. You don't have to drop me every day." I said to him and he chuckled.

" You don't have to think about it. I will manage." He said and I sighed.

Asher dropped me and I went inside the studio. I was thinking about Asher these days. The way he cares for me can't be just because he is my friend. I mean he shows too much affection for me. I don't know if I am wrong about it. I think he has crossed the line of friendship. There is something more that he feels for me. Or it's just me who feels like that?!! He cares for the girls as well but does he go to their places to see them once at that hour of night?!! I don't know. It can be that I am overthinking about it. I don't know. Only he himself can answer this question.

" Where are you lost today, Ari?" Gabi asked me. I shook my head smilingly.

We were done with works after a hell tiring day. I was so tired. We went to Gabi's place to plan for the birthday party of Asher tomorrow. It was 11:00 when I went to Milverton's place to engage Asher in something else so that they can arrange everything without him knowing. I knocked on Asher's door but he didn't respond instead the door got opened by it's own. I was hesitating if I should go inside or not. I knocked on the door but no one responded but the maid said that he was already there in his room. I walked inside the room and switched the lights on only to find Asher on the bed sleeping with his office attire on which he was wearing this morning. I sighed and walked toward him.

" Asher!!!" I called him softly sitting on the bed next to him.

He opened his eyes for once then hold my hand before kissing on it and holding it close to his heart. I don't have any idea why he had done that but I was frozen by this action of his.

" Asher!!! Asher!!! Wake up. Are you hearing me?" I called him again. He opened his eyes and looked at me only to get a shock. He left my hand and I pulled his away at once before standing up.

" What are you doing here, Aradhya?" He asked me checking the time. I tried to smile a bit.

" Actually... I had a problem to discuss with you but you go get freshen up at first." I said to him and he looked at me weirdly for awhile but he went to get freshen up.

I took a sigh of relief. My heart was beating abnormally at Asher's action. What was he thinking about then?!! I walked downstairs to found them already had arranged the things. Asher came downstairs after awhile and he wasn't shock seeing the arrangements. He knew that we are planning these things as we were acting weird today. I rolled my eyes. But his action left me hell confused. Is this just friendship or something more than that??!
