Aradhya's POV

" You should be more careful, Ari." Juliet said and I nodded weakly.

" I don't know how I got tripped." I said to her.

Mom was looking at me calmly. My forehead was wrapped in bandage and my ankle got sprained. I am told to take bed rest for a week. A week!!! I can't sit lazily for a minute. How will that one week pass??!

" I was not paying attention." I said.

I don't know how I tripped. It was all ok. Then I just slipped down from the staircase. Luckily I hold the railing in the last moment. Otherwise I could have gotten a fracture. I am lucky enough. Thanks God!!

" Everything is ok, guys. Stop worrying for me." I said to them and they nodded. " Have Asher and Ardeyn gone for the practice?" I asked Whitney.

" Yes. They have gone to the practice after your blackmailing." Juliet said and I chuckled.

" I am very good at it, right?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes.

" There are some guests." Gabi said. " Are they allowed?" She asked me from the doorstep.

" Of course, dear. Call them in." Mom said and she nodded.

After awhile she came inside with her grandmother and Asher's parents. I smiled at them.

" Hello, Mrs. Cassidy." I said to Gabi's grandmother and she hold my hands.

" How are you feeling now?" Mrs. Cassidy asked me. I smiled.

" I am absolutely fine." I said to her. She smiled and talked to me for awhile then started to talk to Mom. Mr. and Mrs. Milverton sat across me.

" Hi!!!" Mrs. Milverton said.

" Hello, Mrs. Milverton. Nice to meet you." I said to her and she smiled.

" You are so sweet." She said and I smiled awkwardly.

How have I become sweet without doing anything?!! God knows better. But I kept smiling.

" Thank you." I said not knowing what to say.

" Ardeyn talked a lot about you. I was very keen to know who the girl is for real!!!" She said. I smiled. This was getting awkward for me a bit as I didn't know if she liked me or not. " Well, you are from India, right?" She asked me and I nodded.

" Yes. I am from India." I said to her.

" Oh, my best friend is also an Indian." She said and I smiled.

They talked to me for awhile and then they left. Gabi left with her grandmother. Rest of the girls were still at my place. Whitney's parents are not in the town and she informed me last night that she is staying with me tonight. Jordana, Juliet and Heidi will go home with Mrs. Brentwood. She told the girls to wait here for her.

" When will your Mom come? She told that she will drop us and I already texted Dad not to send the car." Jordana asked Heidi.

" She has an meeting. She will be here soon." Heidi said and they nodded.

" It's been a lot of pressure for her recently." Juliet said.

" I wish we could help her anyhow." Jordana said.

" You guys already have. I mean all of your families. Besides, we had to go through it. My own family was after our money. Sometimes your near and dear ones comes out as your biggest enemies. But we are happy now in our life without those selfish people." Heidi said and I sighed.

I know that Heidi misses her father. I can feel her. Heidi and me are in the same boat but in different ways. At least, her father didn't hurt them. He loved them a lot. But I am from a completely opposite situation.

" You are right, girl. But don't worry. You have us all with you. They mean nothing to you." Juliet said to Heidi and she nodded.

" Girls, aren't you hungry?" Mom asked and came inside with some snacks.

I miss Maggie!!! But we are out of stocks. Maggie is not popular here. Many people don't even know what is Maggie. Like seriously!!! I can eat Maggie rest of my life if I have only one choice of food I have to make.

" I want Maggie." I said and Mom chuckled.

" We are out of stocks. I told you to help me to do the groceries last week but you were too lazy to go." Mom said and I pouted. True. I didn't go to the grocery. I told her that we can wait a week more.

" No worries. I will bring you Maggie tomorrow." Mom said and I smiled.

" Thank you, Mommy." I said and she chuckled patting my head.

We kept talking about various things. Then Mrs. Brentwood came after an hour. We had dinner together and she left with the girls. Only Whitney was left with me. Mom went to sleep after talking to us for awhile. More like I forced her to go and sleep in her own room. Whitney and I were talking about things and listening music.

" Dude, I love BTS." Whitney said and I chuckled.

" They are doing very well." I said.

" What do you mean by doing well, dude!!! They are the biggest boy band today." She said and I chuckled.

" I like them. I enjoy their music without knowing their language." I said to her. "But first love is always special. I am the biggest fan of 1D." I said to her and she pouted.

" Me too." Whitney said and I chuckled.

" I was in one of their concerts. You know Rukhsar and I kept screaming during the concert. It was amazing, Bro." I said to her and she smiled.

" We went to their concerts as well. All of us together. It would be great if you were with us that time." She said. I smiled.

" Now I am here with you all and we will go to the concerts with you." I said.

" Yup!!! Dude, we will go to the BTS concerts." She said.

" I wish one day we can go to Gabi's concert like this. I wish one day there are screaming fans around Gabi and her dreams comes true!!!" I said to her.

" She could do that but the problem is she is very uncomfortable in crowd." Whitney said.

" Don't worry. It will be gone by time." I said. I hope Gabi can fulfill her dreams one day!!!
