Delete The Negativity

I was sitting there in the field where the soccer practice was going on. The girls were editing a video to upload it in Gabi's YouTube channel. I sighed and looked back at the sky blankly. I was very confused about Mr. Bradley. I don't know what does he want from us. Or who knows!!! May be I am overthinking about it. May be he just tries to behave politely with Mom just because we are neighbors. But the question is why doesn't he like me then?! What is my fault?!! He may not like the kids!!! But I am not a kid. I am teenager. There are differences. He acts very immature. I don't know why is he that weird.

" Any problem?" I heard Asher's voice and turned to see him.

He was wiping off his face with a towel. I smiled shaking my head. I still can feel some jealous eyes on me. Girls are crazy about Asher. They took the friendship between us to another level. There are a lot of gossips around about me and Asher which is definitely very awkward to face. But we didn't care about it. So, there is no problem for that issue between me and Asher. I am happy that it didn't create any such problem between us. Otherwise it may crack our friendship.

" Where are you lost?" Asher asked me again.

" Hi, Asher!!" I found Susan. I chuckled.

" I am busy. Talk to you later." Asher said directly on her face. I rolled my eyes. That was rude.

" Ok. I will be waiting." She said winking at him before leaving.

Asher rolled his eyes irritatingly. I laughed and he turned to see me at once. He kept looking at me and I don't know why I could see something different in his eyes. That was something special. He never stares at someone this way. What are those eyes trying to tell me?!! I was confused. Very very confused.

" Ahem!!!" I cleared my throat and he looked away. Then took the water bottle from my bag before gulping down a few sips. " She will be waiting for you to call her." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

" So, what can I do in this?" He asked me.

" You should call her. She is crazy about you. You guys can have a relationship. Then can get married. Have children. Happily ever after." I said with dreamy eyes. He looked at me completely irritated.

" Sorry to burst your bubble but that's never ever going to happen. So stop daydreaming about that." He said and I pouted.

" But she is nice." I said.

" Yeah, I don't have eyes. I am blind." He said and I chuckled.

" Ok. Leave it. How is your practice session going on?" I asked him.

" Very well." He said.

I looked at the field and found Gabrielle on the field. She was playing football with the boys. I shook my head. But she was playing really well.

" Come on, Gabi!!! You can do it. You can do it!!!" I screamed my lungs out. Asher chuckled.

" She kicked me out from the team." Asher said. I chuckled.

" Goal!!!" The girls shouted from back and I laughed.

Gabi jumped on Ardeyn and hugged him tightly. I shook my head. Such a kid she is!!!

" It would be better if Gabi was a boy. He could play with them." Juliet said from back. I shook my head.

" Girls can play soccer as well." I said.

" I didn't say that. I meant that women's games are not that popular around." Juliet said and I nodded.

" But she playing really well." Jordana said.

" I agree." I said.

" Girls!!!" Gabi came to us dancing. I chuckled shaking my head. " I made it. Ardeyn challenged me and I did it." Gabi said and I chuckled.

Juliet looked at Ardeyn who just rolled his eyes taking the water bottle from Asher. Well, awhile back Juliet was trying to distract Gabi for awhile as she was editing the video of Gabi's recent performance on a classmates birthday party. But Gabi was glued with her. So, she texted Ardeyn to take Gabi away for awhile. He did it but in a different way.

" You are really good in it." I said to her and she smiled blowing away the hair from her forehead. I chuckled.

Gabi is so cute. She looks like a cute doll. I can see the eyes on her in the gallery. But she doesn't even care about anyone. I shook my head.

A long day ended up. I was going back home. I miss my phooljhari but Mom said I can't ride her until I get a green signal from the doctor. It's a torture for me. It really is. But I have to follow Mom's words. It's must.

" Going home?" Asher asked me and I nodded.

" Yes. Your practice session ended for today?" I asked him and he nodded.

" Come with me." He said.

" Where is Ardeyn today?" I asked him.

" He is going to drop the girls home." He said.

" You should go home too." I said to him.

" I will go home dropping you at home." He said.

" It's not necessary. I will manage." I said to him.

" I am not asking you." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Come. I don't want to listen a single word more." He said and I sighed deeply. No use of arguing with him. He opened the door for me and I got in the car silently.

" How is your ankle now?" He asked me.

" Better than before." I said and he nodded.

Rest of the way both of us were silent. Asher was leaning back on the seat closing his eyes as he was very tired after a long day. He dropped me at home. I was going inside and trying to call Sejal. She called me when I was in the class. I saw Mr. Bradley coming out of the house but I decided to ignore him. I want to delete all the negativity from my life to make myself happy.
