Asher's POV

" Hello, junior Milverton!! How was the surprise?" Marion asked me and I chuckled.

" I thought this is called a pre-planned kidnapping." I said to him and he chuckled.

" Yes, it is." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Who kidnaps someone like this?" I asked him taking the water bottle and gulped down a few sips from it.

" I don't want to conflict with Milvertons. I am not that foolish. I am smart enough to save myself." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" So, you brought me here to prove that you are not a stupid?" I asked him.

" I just want that deal. If your father leaves it willingly then I no need to do anything." He said.

" And if he doesn't then?" I asked him.

" Then I have to threaten him and you are my pawn here." He said and I chuckled.

" I am your pawn? But I don't think this is going to work. Cause, this look nothing like kidnapping and my father won't trust you." I said and kept the bottle on the desk before walking toward him.

" I think you should scare my father. If you are already thinking of doing that then you should give me some bruises. You know?! To make it look real." I said to him.

" This is real." He said narrowing his eyes.

" I have no doubt about that. But trust me if you give me some bruises then my father will step back from the deal you need for yourself as soon as it possible. But if he sees me like this he will definitely not believe that you have kidnapped me. He trusts you anyways." I said to him.

" No. I am not going to hurt you. I don't have enmity with you. Neither I have any issue with your father. In fact, he helped me several times. I just want that deal." He said and I sat on the desk.

" Ok, then ask your men to do you a favor and give me some bruises." I said to him and he looked at me irritatingly.

" Why are you so eager to be wounded?" He asked me.

" I was just trying to help you, Man." I said to him smirking.

" I just need that deal but I am not going to hurt you. I owe your father a lot." He said. I chuckled.

" Then you should talk to my father face to face. I think he will understand your points. May be that deal is not so important for Milvertons." I said shrugging.

" Thud is very important to your father. He wanted that for himself. He won it as well. I have nothing to do with it if he himself doesn't step back from this." He said and I nodded.

I looked around and counted the guards. They are 6 including Marion. Not a big deal. I made a plan for myself while I was in the car if I need to rescue myself though I was sure that they will come to rescue me. I chuckled inwardly. Not everytime you need a weapon to win the war.

" Oh, then you can't do anything but if you talk to him he can share it with you. As you are a close friend of my father you should enjoy working with him. Am I wrong?" I said to him.

" But he wants the whole for himself." He said and I chuckled.

" He wants the whole for himself or you are just blubbering out your own wish?" I asked him taking the paperweight.

" He wants that. I too wanted whole of it but I have no problem to share it with him." He said to me and I nodded.

" Very well." I said to him. " Then go talk to him openly about this. I don't think he will disappoint you." I said to him.

" I will but until then you have to be here and if you try to escape-" he was saying but I stopped him in between.

" I am not going to escape from here. I will rescue myself and walk out of here before your eyes and got your kind information you will not be able to do anything about it."

" Like really??! You are threatening me while still being in my territory?" He chuckled. " I have to agree that you are very brave, Asher." He said and I chuckled.

" Milvertons are always brave and they never stab someone from back like you do, Marion." I said to him and he chuckled as he thought he was able to fool me. I am into it now. Let's see how I can help you Marion.

" Well, I had no other way." He said to me. I nodded.

" Very well. But let me tell you this trick of yours is not going to work on Milvertons. Specially on me. You choose a wrong person to mess up with." I said to him and he chuckled.

" I think you are the best choice to blackmail your parents. After all, they will not want to lose their one and only child." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" No parents want to lose their child but that is not the topic of discussion right now. I want to tell you that you are not going to be able to blackmail my father about me." I said to him.

" Why not?" He asked me.

" Because, I am rescuing myself." I said and threw the paperweight on the chandelier which fall down and blocked the way of the guards.

Marion was very shocked to react and I knew how to utilize this chance. I jumped off of the desk before snatching the gun from him and I printed it at him.

" Like what you see, Marion?" I asked him and he looked at me weirdly. " Let me tell you something, Marion. You are a hilarious actor. I am not impressed neither I am convinced." I said and sighed. " And if I am nit wrong my father is already here." I said and the door bursted open at once.

" Asher, stop!!! Don't shoot." I heard my father and chuckled. End of the drama.
