Enmity

Asher's POV

" You know that you are stupid?" I asked Ardeyn. He rolled his eyes.

" I hate seeing his face." Ardeyn said.

" You are no different from them then. You are also avoiding them." I said to him. He didn't say anything.

" You spoiled my mood terribly. For you I had to handle everything myself. You shouldn't have done that it's so embarrassing. I disown you. You are not my cousin from today." Asher declared with a cold tone and Ardeyn just chuckled. I glared at him but he ignored it completely as always. I sighed.

How can he act so childish!!! He literally ignored the Kentworths whole the time in the party this evening just because he is not in a good term with Damian Kentworth. This was not at all a professional behavior. When will he learn that acting like that will make things more awkward between two of the family.

" And why were you fighting Aradhya in the school earlier?" I asked him.

" It's not fighting. Just it's fun to irritate her." He said and I glared at him and he chuckled." Oh, come on!!! She is a crazy girl who gets angry in so frequently." He said.

" Excuse me?! You were the one who spoiled her mood. I so bad wanted to kick your ass." I said to him..

" You are welcome to do so." He said pouring water on a glass drinking it gesturing me to kick him.

I was sitting next to the window. Suddenly I found Juliet walking alone on the street. What is wrong with her??! Why is she out of the house at this hour of night?!! That too all alone?!!

" There is the crazy girl who made Aradhya crazy like her. She wasn't crazy before." I said and and I put the glass down on the table. I think he knows that I am talking about Juliet.

" Who?" He asked me and I chuckled.

" Juliet Kentworth." I said pointing at the road. He walked towards me and looked though the window only to find Juliet Northscott's house.

" I will just come." He said and I rolled my eyes. He ignored ne and ran out of the house. I chuckled seeing his expression.

I knew Ardeyn better than he knows himself. He is not just my cousin but also my best friend. I knowbwhat he feel for Juliet. I never wanted him to be involved with Kentworth in any sense cause I know no matter what happens at the end of the day they will still remain the immortal enemies.

We tried to resolve it several but the Kentworth are not interested in doing so. They are not ready to erase it.

But no can control over his feelings and emotions. It just happens. So, I never blame Ardeyn. I hope everything become normal soon. Otherwise Juliet and Ardeyn has to pay a big price for this. I don't know why they think that keeping up this enmity will make them have their revenge!!! God knows. I was brought back to reality by Ardeyn's phone which was ringing. I picked it up. It was Gabi. I talked to her for awhile then she hung up.  

I took my phone and called Aradhya. She picked the call up after 3 rings. She is there in India for her cousin's wedding. She invited us to join the wedding ceremony there but it's still have 2 weeks to go. We will be there just 3 days before the wedding ceremony. Though she wanted us to be there earlier but I have a piles of pending works to finish before going there. The girls may go there next week.

" Hey, Asher!!!" She said excitedly and I heard loud music around.

" What is going on there?" I asked her.

" Preparation for the wedding ceremony." She said. I chuckled.

" That soon?" I asked her.

" Ufffooo. You know nothing about an Indian wedding. It's all about music, dancing, fun, tons of rituals basis on the ethnicity, food heaven, colors and everything." She said and I chuckled.

" What are you doing now?" I asked her. "It's 7:30 here. It's already midnight there. You are still up?" I asked her. She said something in Hindi and I rolled my eyes.

" Don't speak Hebrew." I said to her.

" It was Hindi." She said.

" Every language that I don't know is Hebrew to me." I said and she laughed.

We talked for awhile than she hung up. I was still sitting there thinking about her. She is so happy there with her family. I just want her to be smiling always no matter what happens.

" What happened now?" I heard Ardeyn's voice. He came back!!!

" Gabrielle called you." I informed him.

" What happened with her now?" He asked taking his phone and calling her back. He put it on speaker and removed his jacket.

" Hello!!." Gabi said.

" Hello, what happened, Brie?" Ardeyn said. I rolled my eyes. When everyone calls her Gabi Ardeyn calls him Brie. Weird!!!

" I won't be able to come to help you tomorrow. Can you handle it by yourself?" She asked him.

" Why aren't you coming? Are you ok?" Ardeyn asked her.

" My grandma is sick. Very very sick, Ardeyn. Please pray for her." She said in a soft tone.

" I will definitely do it. You just stay there. I will handle everything and if you need anything just let me know. I will be there to help you. Okay?" Ardeyn asked her.

" Definitely. Will do that, Ardeyn." She said.

" Don't worry. Your grandma will be alright soon." He said to her.

Gabrielle Cassidy. She lost her parents long back. She has only her grandma whom she can call her family. She had an aunt who doesn't bother to ask for her. That lonely girl!!!

" Yeah. I hope so." She said softly.

" Call me if you need any help, Brie." Ardeyn said again.

" I will, Ardeyn. I will try to manage by myself." She said.

" Alright then. Take care and good night." He said.

" Good night." She said and hung up. I sighed.

" Her grandma is sick?" I said. He nodded.

" Can she handle alone? We should go and help her." I said.

" She said she will call me if she needs any help." He said.

" Oh, ok then." I said. He sighed. "Where was Juliet going?" I asked him.

" Was going to her aunt's house." He said. I nodded.

This can't be going on forever. Something has to be done with this enmity.
