Aradhya's POV

Sejal's Dine

I was standing before the Indian restaurant nearby. I saw there is a vacant announcement notice here yesterday while going back home from school. I wanted to talk to them but Heidi and Whitney were with me. They would ask me thousands of questions if I would go and talk to the authority about the job. I don't want that. I am really uncomfortable with discussing about my personal issues. There is nothing so discussable. So, I decided not to involve my friends in that. I hope it's still vacant here. I am done working with Lizzy. It's very hard to work with someone who doesn't understand you well or show respect to you. I just walked into the restaurant with a heart full of hope.

" Excuse me, ma'am. How can I help you?" One of the waitress asked me.

" Oh, hey!!! Can I meet the manager of the restaurant?" I asked her.

" Do you have any appointments?" She asked me.

" No, I came here seeing the vacancy notice." I said to her.

" Oh, ok ok.  Come with me." She said giving me a suspicious look.

" Sure." I said and followed her.

The restaurant was not that big but it was cosy and comfortable. It was very popular among the people of this area and it was not very far from home as well. I can easily come here and go home on due time.

" I am Greta. What's your name?" She asked me.

" I am Aradhya. Nice to meet you, Greta." I said to her.

" What?!! Arada!!!" She said. I sighed inwardly.

" Aradhya." I said and she smiled a bit.

" It's a bit hard for me. Do you have any nickname?" She asked me. I chuckled.

I do but these are not for anyone else but my family. I can't tell that to you, Greta. Besides, it will be more complicated for you. I said to myself shaking my head.

" You can call me Ari." I said to her. She smiled.

" Ari... Ari... Ari... Hmmm .. .much better than Arada." She said and I shook my head.

Natives!!!!

" Are you under age?" Greta asked me who was leading me to the manager's cabin asked me.

" I am 15." I said to her.

" You look much younger. Is this your first job?" She asked me.

" No. I used to work in a bookstore before." I said to her.

" Oh, why have you left the job then?" She asked me.

I thought for awhile. Complaining about your previous employer to your present workplace is not at all a good thing to do. It can effect on the impression. They may think you were not good at doing your job that's why you are blaming your employer.

" It's far away from my house. It killed a lot of time of my day just to reach there and go back home from work as well." I said to her and she nodded.
