Aradhya's POV

" I am dead!!!" I said and sat on the couch.

" What's wrong?" Asher asked me as he sat next to me.

" So tired." I said.

" You had an overtime today?" He asked me and I sighed.

" Yes." I said and he nodded.

" You should take a break." He said.

" I am happy and satisfied with myself working and balancing the studies at the same time." I said to him and he nodded.

" That's great then but don't stress out yourself in between." He said and I nodded. "Have you talked to Eros?" He asked me. I shook my head.

" I blocked his number and blocked him on social media as well." I said to him. He shook his head.

" I just said ignore him not to delete him." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Whatever. He is not a nice person to befriend with." I said and he nodded.

We were currently at the birthday party of Jordana. I couldn't find the girls yet. I was in the restaurant. I just came here from work. I am not comfortable with the crowd. It suffocates me and most of the people were unknown to me. May be they were Jordan's father's business associates and friends. I don't know all of her relatives as well. They are definitely unknown to me.

" Very well." He said.

" Hey, Ari!!!" I heard Ardeyn's voice and looked away. We had a fight last week. Since then I am not talking to him.

" I am angry with you. Don't talk to me." I said to him.

" I am sorry, Ari. It was not intentional. I told you it was for Hugh not for Amber. Who knew that she will appear there all on a sudden??!" He asked and I sighed deeply. "But I helped Amber to complete her project once again." He said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

" I swear." He said and I sighed.

" Stop acting clumsy." I said to him and he rolled his eyes then chuckled sitting next to me as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I glared at him and he chuckled.

" I haven't forgiven you yet." I said to him.

" You will sooner or later." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" Where are the girls?" I asked him.

" They are busy with makeups I think." Ardeyn said and handed me a bottle of water. I sighed.

" Thanks." I said and gulped down a few sips from there. My throat was drying.

" I am feeling like an alien here." I said to them.

" Doesn't matter." Ardeyn said.

" Look, how well dressed everyone are and I am here in my black t-shirt." I said to him and he chuckled.

" No worries. No one is going to bother you for wearing a black t-shirt but I can't guarantee about the girls." Ardeyn said to her. I rolled my eyes.

" I forgot that I have an overtime today. I thought I will go home and change then attend the party. Mom and Dee are busy today. I was to more late but Sejal just let me come earlier a bit. So, I could be here in time. Otherwise I would be late." I said.

" Then thanks to Sejal." Ardeyn said and I rolled my eyes.

" Yeah, I came here that doesn't matter but Sejal let me leave earlier that matters more than me being present here." I said to him and he chuckled.

" If you were not here then we would attack Sejal's Dine and kidnapped you from there. You don't have any idea about us." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" You can do that. No doubt." I said to him and he chuckled.

" Yes. I can. Very very surely." He said and I shook my head.

I found the girls coming downstairs. Juliet narrowed her eyes at me and then shook her head.

" Why are you late?" Gabi asked me.

" I had an overtime today." I said to her. "You are looking so beautiful today, Gabi. If I were a boy I would definitely fall in love with you by now." I said and Ardeyn chuckled looking at Asher who just rolled his eyes.

" Thanks, Ari. You always look beautiful. You are naturally do beautiful." She said and I chuckled.

" You too, Gabi." I said wrapping my arm around her shoulder.

" Happy birthday, Jordy." I said to Jordana before hugging her tightly. She smiled and hugged me back. I broke the hug and brought out the gift box.

" This is for you." I said to her and she smiled. She opened that at once and brought out the wrist watch that I bought her. She put it on immediately.

" This is lovely. Thank you, Ari. I loved it." She said. " I know you bought it from your salary, right? I love it even more." Jordana said and I chuckled.

" I am glad that you liked it. Dee was with me when we bought this. She was saying that you will love it." I said to her. She smiled.

" Hmm... Why hasn't Diya come with you? You didn't tell her that I have invited Ms. Roy and her as well?" She asked me and I chuckled.

" I have but she has an important meeting to attend in the office so she can't join the party and Mom has gone to Manchester with her colleagues this morning. She will be late. But they send you gifts." I said and gave her the gifts and she smiled.

" Ok then." She said.

The party started. I so badly wanted to go home and had shower. I was so tired as well but Jordana will be upset if I leave already. Having no other way left I kept sitting on the corner and Asher was sitting there next to me. He didn't leave the place for once. We were chatting a bit. Asher was always a good listener. He talks very less and doesn't takes part in the conversation that much just let the other person talk and continue the conversation. He never interferes. I sighed deeply. I stood up and walked toward the washroom as my head was blasting. I needed to get freshen up as well. I was about to open the door but before I could touch the nob of the door I felt someone covered my mouth with his hand and hold me tightly from the back. Panick seized me at once as he started to drag me out of there. I tried to get rid of the man but I wasn't able to. I was trapped badly.
