Asher's POV

" Are you sure it's her father?" Dad asked me and I sighed.

" I think so. When I asked that guy about this he was like he was given a huge amount to do this thing." I said to my father.

" How has he entered Winslet's place in the first place?" He asked me.

" He is Jordana's uncle's friend." I said to him.

" You know him?" Ardeyn asked me.

" I checked the guest list and found him out." I said and he nodded.

" Hmm...ok." He said.

" Just take care that he can't come out of the bars any soon, Dad." I said to my father. He nodded.

" He will not. No worries." He said to me. I nodded.

" Better." I sighed deeply.

" Her father has filed for full custody of her last week. I think he wants to prove that her mother can't take care of her properly. So that he can win the case easily." Dad said and I nodded.

" I also thought that that way until I have learned about her grandparent's testimony." I said to him.

" What about that?" Dad asked me and I sighed.

" Her grandparents left 10 millions for her in their testimony. She will have the money after their death. But if she dies before them that money will be her step brother's. I think they don't want the custody. It's just a plan. They want her to die so that they can have the money legally." I said to my father. His facial expressions changed.

" 10 millions!!! Of course. He will get that 10 millions. But he has to pay a big price for that." Dad said and I chuckled.

" What is going on in your head, my dear uncle?" Ardeyn asked Dad who just chuckled.

" He can go any far for the money. Even he can kill his daughter. It will not bother him a bit. He will not think twice about that." I said to my dad.

" Boys, you should concentrate on your studies and other stuffs. I am here to handle the situation." Dad said.

" But he has hired Jacob Bradley for the case. Jacob has never ever lost in any cases in his life." Ardeyn said.

" He hasn't lose yet doesn't mean he will not lose ever. And if he is with that greedy man then he has to pay for that. I promise. A big price." Dad said and I sighed. We have no other choice but to trust him for now. He will keep his promise anyways. There is no doubt about that.

" You guys, go back to your room." He said to us and I nodded.

I walked out of there with Ardeyn. I was thinking about Aradhya. She has kept her pain hidden from the world. It's more like she doesn't want to show that to anyone. May be she doesn't want people think that she is weak. No one should show his weaknesses to anyone not even his closest friends. It may make you pay in future.

" What are you thinking about?" Ardeyn asked me.

" Nothing. Just was thinking about the case." I said to him.

" More like thinking about Ari." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

" Why asking when you know that?" I asked him.

" I was just guessing." He said giving me a toothy grin. I rolled my eyes.

" Nice joke." I said and walked out of there.

" Where are you going?" He asked me.

" To the hell. Wanna join?" I asked him.

" I didn't know that Ari lives in the hell. Anyways, I would love to accompany you but I don't want to be the third wheeler." He said. " So, goodnight." He said and walked toward the room. I sighed deeply.

I walked out of the house and Cole was already waiting. I chuckled inwardly. Even he too knows that this is my daily routine. I got in the car and it started to move toward Aradhya's place. I was thinking about the things that were roaming around my head from last night. How can someone be that cruel to his own daughter?!! I sighed deeply. Where there are people who don't value things that they have in their lives which on the other hand someone is dying to have. Aradhya's father is one of them. He has a beautiful and talented daughter but he doesn't want them. Even he wants to kill her for money.

I agree that we need money to live a better life but do we need it that much that can convince us to kill someone??! Life is so unpredictable. Very very unpredictable but I hope no kid have a father like this who makes a negative impression that all the father are the same. I hope one day he realizes his mistakes and pay for that!!!

The car stopped and I got down. Before I could take my phone I heard it's ringing and found it's Aradhya who was calling me. I picked the call up at once.

" Hello." I said.

" You here?" She asked me and I smiled.

" Yes. How do you know?" I asked her.

" I am sitting here in the balcony. You can't see me cause the light is turned off." She said to me and I sighed.

" Why are you sitting there in the darkness?" I asked her.

" Just was listening to my favorite songs. I can feel the lyrics when it's all dark." She said and I chuckled.

" Very very well." I said to her.

" Do I have to come there?" She asked me.

" No. It's ok. You listen to the songs." I said and she chuckled then turned the lights on. I found her waving at me. I waved back.

" Have you had your dinner?" She asked me.

" Yes, I had. What about you?" I asked her.

" I too had it an hour back. Asher you haven't told me how have you hurt yourself." She asked me and I sighed inwardly.

How can I tell you that!!! I don't think you will like the story of my worst rage. So, it's better to be secret for now.
