Very Common Issue

Aradhya's POV

" Maa, mujhe school ke liye der ho rahi hain." (I am getting late for school, Mom) I said to my dear mother.

" Wait a minute, Ari." Mom said from the kitchen.

" Ek minute to nahi ruk saktay lekin 30 seconds hain apke pas." (Can't wait a minute but if you can manage it in 30 seconds then you have it) I said to her tying my shoe laces.  Mom came out of the kitchen with the lunchbox. I shook my head.

" Maa, iska kya jaroorat thi? Main bahar hi lunch ker leti. Not a big deal." (Mom, it wasn't needed. I could have my lunch out anyways) I said to her and she chuckled before partting my head.

" Daily bahar ka khana mast khake kabhi kabhar Ghar ka bhi khaya liya Karo." (Instead having food outside everyday sometimes have homemade food as well) Mom said and I nodded.

" Woh to thik hain, Maa. Lekin itna sara khana kaun khayega? Aapne Kya poore London ke liye lunch pack let diye?" (That's alright, Mom but who will have all these food? Have you packed lunch for whole London?) I asked her and she chuckled.

" Yeh saab tumhare dosto ke liye hain." (These all are for your friends) Mom said.

" Lekin mujhe to lagta hain isse main poore school ko treat de sakti Hoon." (But I think I can give a treat to the whole school with this) I said and she giggled. I joined her. Most beautiful smile in this world is my mother's for me.

" Abhi der nahi ho rahi hain, Ari?" (Aren't you getting late now, Ari?) Mom asked me. I checked the time.

" Oh, God!!!! I am going. Bye, Maa." I said kissing on her cheeks and she chuckled shaking her head.

" Be careful, Ari." She said and I nodded.

" Thanks for the lunch, Maa. Love you. Bye." I was walking out of the house with phooljhari when I found Mr. Bradley standing near the entrance of Bradley House.

" Good morning, Mr. Bradley." I said to him and as always he gave me a flat look. I kept the smile on my face. " How is Mrs. Bradley doing now?" I asked him.

" She is doing well and thank you for taking her to the hospital that day." He said and I nodded.

" You don't have to thank me. It was my responsibility." I said to him. He nodded. "See you later, Mr. Bradley. I am getting late for school." I said to him and walked away from there.

I am kinda confused about Mr. Bradley. I don't know if he dislikes me or not. But his behavior toward me is far away from normal. May be that's just in my head. I am not sure about this. But who cares??! We can't make everyone happy in our life and it's not possible either. Even if we want to make everyone happy we will not be able to do so. It's not possible.

Not everyone will like us. We have to accept that. There are some people who doesn't like us doesn't mean that we don't have people who love us. We have to be ready to accept the hatred and hate comments on us. Cause, it's very natural. People have weird behavior of getting jealous of each other. Even I am not different from them. I too get jealous of them who has a happy family with both of their parents but that's a different story.

People has right to express their opinion but that doesn't mean that they will hurt someone else with their comments but most of the people always forgets that anyways. We have to be mentally prepared for that. Many of us are too afraid to face that but we forget that this is the real face of the world today. A few people you will find do genuinely encourage people and rest are always ready to discourage you no matter what you want to do.

I reached the school after 20 minutes. I needed to reach class in 5 minutes. The class is about to start. I walked toward the class and found a group of students passing by.

" Hey, you!!!" Suddenly someone called. I turned to see if it was me who was called. I found a boy with blonde hair reaching me.

" Me?" I asked him.

" Is there anyone else but you around?" He asked me.

" Do we know each other?" I asked him and he looked at me weirdly for once then his eyes were burning with wrath. I rolled my eyes.

" You don't know me but I warn you. Stay away from Asher." He said and I checked him out head to toe.

" But as much as I know Asher is straight unlike you. Why are you telling me to stay away from him?! You should find out someone who is a gay like you." I said to him and his face turned red with wrath as soon as I said and.

" You!!!" He was about to reach me.

" Don't worry if you want I can find you a match." I said to him chuckling. " But as for now I have to go. I have to attend my classes." I said to him waving at him.

" You bi-" he was saying but Heidi reached there out of nowhere.

" Simon!!!!" Heidi gritted. " Step aside." Heidi said and hold my hand before dragging me out of there.

" Heidi, I think he likes Asher. Bad luck of him. Asher is straight." I said to her smirking at the guy named Simon.

" He is not a gay. He is Susan's brother. She must have told her brother to mess up with you. Be careful. This Simon is a bast*rd." She said and I chuckled.

" I am not at all worried about him. He is fun to mess up with." I said and Heidi rolled her eyes.

" Do as I say." She said and I chuckled.

" Ok, ma'am. I will be careful. Okay?" I asked her. She chuckled.

" Let's go, Dude. We will miss the class otherwise and it's Mrs. Greene's class today in the first period." She said and I nodded.

" Why are you late today?" I asked her.

" I couldn't wake up in time. I slept turning the alarm off." She said and I chuckled. Very common issue it is.
