Best Gift Ever

Aradhya's POV

I entered the house and switched on the lights then everyone shouted 'happy birthday' to me. I was completely shocked with this surprise. Dee ran to me and hugged me tightly. Then kissed on my forehead. I smiled. Everyone started to wish me individually. I smiled. They remembered my birthday!!! They just wanted to surprise me!!!

" Happy birthday, Aradhya." I found it was Mr. Axton who reached me.

" Thank you, Mr. Axton. Thanks for coming." I said. I was smiling widely.

There were my family and friends. I was so happy seeing all there. I really had no place for my so called father in my life. I had my near and dear one in my life to love me and hd me when I need them. There is no need to feel alone.

" Go get, freshen up, Chhoti. Then we will cut the cake." Dee said and I nodded.

" Love you, Dee. I know it's your plan." I said running upstairs.

" Careful, Chhoti. Don't run." Dee said and I smiled throwing an air kiss to her.

I went to my room and kept my stuffs aside. I found the same dress lying on the bed which I wanted to buy a few days back and I told Dee that I was saving money for that. I smiled weirdly. I love you, Dee. You are the best sister in the world. I had quick a shower and got ready for the party. I went downstairs.

" I am here." I said smilingly and ran downstairs.

" What!!!" I asked Whitney who was looking at me weirdly.

" You shouldn't jump like that on the stairs, Ari. You forgot you had an accident 2 years back?" She asked me and I sighed.

" Ok, ok. I will remember next time." I said to her and she nodded.

" Better." She said.

" Let's cut the cake!!!!" I shouted. Juliet squealed.

" But Chhoti, Asher is not still here. Let him come at first." Dee said and I looked around but couldn't find him. I realized that Asher was not present in the party.

" May be he forgot. Let's cut the cake." I said and Dee shook her head confusedly.

" Why will he forget this?" Dee asked.

I looked at her weirdly. Why is she reacting like this!!! He may have works. He remains very busy these days. He has focused on their family business these days. So, it's not impossible that he has gone to attend a meeting with his father.

" Don't know, Dee. Let's cut the cake I am hungry." I said.

" Ok, let's go." Dee said disappointedly. I sighed inwardly. He would have come by now if he was around.

I cut the cake with my dear mother and cousins. It was one of the memorable day of my life. I just want to enjoy this moment to the fullest. Then mom went to arrange the dinner and we sat there waiting for the dinner. I was hungry as hell that I cut the cake and started to have it.

" Sharing is caring." Gabi pouted. I chuckled. I shoved the spoon inside her mouth. 

" Ufhggbdscvvbbb" Gabi tried to say something while swallowing the cake in her mouth.

" Gulp down what you have in your mouth then speak up. I don't understand minion's language. Ufghgbvvbbbb. What's that Gabi?" I asked her.

" Ughhcfggyfbb." She said and I chuckled.

" Ughdcgfvbhb." I mimicked her. She was going to say something but the doorbell rang suddenly which stopped her.

" I will check." I said. I opened the door and found Asher standing there. I narrowed my eyes at him. Why is he late!!!

" You're late." Aradhya said crossing my arms over my chest and as always he just smiled in response.

" Calm down, Aradhya. Anger is not going to help you. I have gone to get your gift." He said. I rolled my eyes.

" Then what is going to help me?" I asked him.

" Ok, here is your gift. Choose one." He brought both of his fist ahead and gestured me to choose one of them. I looked at him suspiciously. He just gestured me encouraging me to choose one. I thought for a second and chose the left one.

" Why are you choosing the left one?" He asked.

" You are left handed this why." I said and he opened his fist there was no thing and then opened right one there was nothing in that as well. " This is cheating. I objection!!!" I said irritatingly. He laughed. I narrowed my eyes at him. What is going on in his brain??!

" Ok, time out, Aradhya. Come with me. I have something to show you." He said holding my hand but I pulled my hand out of his hold.

" No, I won't go. I hate you." I said with a grumpy face.

First of all, he didn't wish me yet which I was waiting all the day for, secondly he is late for the party and thirdly he made fun of me. I am angry with him. Until he says sorry I will not be talking to him.

" You won't go?" He asked me raising his eyebrows.

" No. Never." I said to him twisting my lips.

" You won't go, right?" He asked mevagain.

" No. Are you deaf? I tol-" I couldn't finish as he pulled me out of their and scoop me up in his arms. I was shocked as hell.

" Let's go. You whine a lot." He started to walk. I glared at him which didn't work on him as always.

" Put me down, Asher. This is not a joke. I swear..." I squealed but he stopped me.

" Ssssssshhh. You whine a lot." Asher said and stopped in the backyard of our house."Ready?" He asked me

" Ready for what??" I asked and Asher clapped his hands and I found Cole standing there.

" Now." Asher said to Cole and suddenly I saw a copter flying towards the backyard. As the copter was flying over the backyard suddenly there was a rain of flower petals. Pink rose petals to be exact which was showering me. I got melted at once. I loved this. The best birthday gift ever.
