Asher's POV

" Hey, Asher!!!" I heard a familiar voice as soon as I entered the living room and turned to see Mrs. Khurana. I smiled and walked toward her. She gave me a sweet smile and engulfed me into a hug. I hugged her back.

" Drama!!" Ardeyn said and I chuckled breaking the hug.

" I won't believe if you tell me that you didn't miss me, Ardeyn." Mrs. Khurana said. I shook my head and she hugged Ardeyn too.

" Your words are not believable." She said to him and he rolled his eyes. I chuckled.

" Is Mom at home?" I asked her and she shook her head.

" She is still in office. She will be at home in one or two hours." She said and I nodded.

Mrs. Ankita Khurana is my mother's best friend. They are friends since they were in kindergarten. She is a British Indian. Her mother is British and her father Indian. She is a journalist. She visits us seldom when Mom is at home when they are together they will act like they are still teenager. I shook my head.

" Oh, that's great." I said to her and she nodded.

I miss my mom when she is not at home but I have to understand it's her job. I can't complain about it. I am lucky that I still have both my parents and they love me a lot. When Heidi's father passed away of cancer 2 years back she was very devastated then. Her father used to love her a lot. She wasn't able to come back to her normal life for a long time. Thanks God she did that. Thinking about losing any of the parents is very very horrible.

" Where are you lost, Ash?" Ardeyn asked me and I glared at him.

" Stop calling me that." I said to him and he chuckled.

" Go,get freshen up. Your Dad is joining us at lunch." Mrs. Khurana said and I nodded.

We walked upstairs and got freshen up. As soon as I walked out from the washroom I found Ardeyn fall asleep already. I rolled my eyes. How can he sleep that fast?!! I mean Ardeyn can sleep anywhere anytime. I walked toward him and wake him up.

" Who is dying?" Ardeyn asked me.

" Won't you have lunch?" I asked him and he sighed deeply.

" I was having a sweet dream but you wake me up. I hate you." He said and I chuckled.

" Was it about Juliet?" I asked him and he rolled his eyes.

" There is many more things in this world other than Juliet Kentworth." He said to me and I chuckled.

" I know that. But they may not exist in your world, Ardeyn Northscott." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

" Yeah, right." He said to me.

" You are so doomed, brother. Your family may accept Juliet but her family will never ever do that and you know the reason why." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

" Why is her family coming in between? I have nothing to do with her." He said running his fingers through his hair. I chuckled.

" Oh really?!! We will see." I said to him. He didn't say anything.

We went downstairs and had lunch with my parents. After that Ardeyn whined for awhile to his parents that when will they come back home. I shook my head. It was the evening when we went out for a walk. Ardeyn called the girls but none of they were free for the evening and Aradhya must be in the restaurant doing her job. I sighed deeply. This girl is too stubborn. Now she herself wants to work there so there is nothing that we can do about it.
