Very Confused

Aradhya's POV

I was sitting there completely speechless looking at my aunt Pallavi. She was crying hysterically sitting on the hospital waiting room. I sighed deeply. I just can't understand why was she crying like this for an unknown person. I found the doctor reaching us. I stood up to talk to him.

" How is the patient doing, doctor?" I asked the doctor.

" Please, come with me, ma'am." The doctor said and I nodded. We walked away from my aunt.

" Dekhiye hum koshish ker rahe hai lekin bohot critical condition hai. Patient coma main bhi ja sakte hain." (Look, we are trying our best but the patient is already in a critical condition. Even she can be in coma.) The doctor said and I nodded.

" Main samajh sakti Hoon." (I can understand) I said to him.

" Aap please unke parivaar ko inform kijiye."(You please inform his family) the doctor said.

" Ji jaroor." I said to him. He walked away. I walked back to my aunt.

I came to India 2 days back just because my Mom said to and I willingly give the money to my step brother. This was the first time I had seen him. I was to go back today but this tragic accident stopped me. I missed my flight already.

" Bua g." (Aunty) I called my aunt and she wiped her tears away before turning to see me.

" Unke parivaar ko inform kerna hoga. Aap unko jante Hain?" (We have to inform his family. Do you know his family?) I asked her and she sobbed before nodding.

" Aap chinta maat kijiye woh thik ho jayenge aur humne blood manage ker liya na, abhi woh thik ho jayenge. Maine khud blood donate kiya unko." (You don't worry he will be alright. We have managed the blood already.) I said to her and she nodded.

After awhile, my cousins reached there and my aunt turned silent seeing them. They were very worried. They thought we have been in an accident. My uncle was also there. I think he wasn't able to cry before us but if there wasn't anyone else he would have broken into tears. My aunt is very lucky to have such a life partner. God bless them with entire happiness. My cousin Trisha hugged me tightly and started to cry. I sighed.

" Kuch bhi to nahi hua bua g ko, ro kyun rahi ho?" (Nothing happened to aunty, why are you crying?) I asked her patting her head.

" I was very scared." She said pouting and I chuckled.

" Nothing happened to your Mom. It was someone else who had an accident." I said to her and she nodded.

" Aapke dost kaha hain?" (Where is your friend?) She asked me about Asher.

" Usko phone call attend kerna tha. Hoga yehi kahi." (He had to attend a phone call. He will be around) I said to her and she nodded. I chuckled.

" Bua g, aap ghar jaiye. Main yehi Hoon." (Aunty, you can go home. I will be here) I said to my aunt.

" I will stay." She said at once and I sighed.

" Ok, if you say so." I said and she nodded.

It was 3 hours since the accident but that guy wasn't in sense yet. He may go to coma. I sighed deeply.

" Have you found out his family? Any news of them?" The doctor asked me.

" No. Actually, one second. I will be back." I said.

" Bua g, aapne unke family ko inform kiya na?" (Aunty, have you informed his family?) I asked my aunt.

" Nahi kiya. He doesn't have a family." (I haven't) she said. I looked at her weirdly.

" Aapko kayse paata?" (How do you know?) I asked her but she didn't say anything. I sighed and walked toward the doctor.

" Doctor, hum paata laga rahe Hain. Aap chinta maat kijiye, hum bills bhar denge." (Doctor, we are trying to find out. You don't worry, we will pay the bills.) I said and he nodded before walking away.

" How is he doing now?" Asher asked me. I sighed.

" Not very well and my aunt is acting weird." I said to him and he sighed.

" What is she saying?" He asked me.

" She is saying that she knows him but he doesn't have a family." I said to him and he nodded.

" Who knows!!! May be she is right." She said to me. I sighed deeply.

" What will we do now?" I asked him.

" Waiting for him to come back to sense." he said and I nodded.

" Doctor said he can go to coma." I said and he nodded.

" We have to wait. Nothing else can be done here." He said to me. I nodded.

" You should go back to London, Asher." I said to him.

" I will go back with you." He said checking his phone.

I told him that I will manage but he still accompanied me. It was very difficult for him to deal with the spicy foods here but he didn't complain for once. My grandparents wanted me to stay with them but I couldn't step that house from where we were kicked out in a crucial time. So, we were staying in the hotel and my grandmother has problem with that as well. She called the hotel authority to know if Asher and I were staying in the same room!!! I mean even if I do what is bothering her in that?!! She has kicked us out anyways. I was not going to talk to her anyways. But she was too keen to know about my life so I told her that Asher is my boyfriend. I hope that old lady can die peacefully now. Irritating.

" Where are you lost?" Asher asked me holding my hand. I shook my head.

" Nowhere. Sorry, I missed it. What were you saying?" I asked him.

" Have you had your dinner?" He asked me.

" No. How can I think about having food when we are in the hospital?" I asked him. He rolled his eyes.

" You are starving. You didn't have your lunch." He said. He noticed??!

" I did." I lied.

" You didn't. I had my eyes on you." He said and I sighed.

We heard Trisha at the same time. My aunt got unconscious out of nowhere. I was shocked. What's wrong with her?!! Why is she acting weird?!! Her mysterious behavior was making me confused. Very very confused.
