Aradhya's POV

" What happened, Ari?" Juliet asked me as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder. I chuckled.

" Nothing happened, Romeo... Oops... Juliet." I said to her and she rolled her eyes.

" Why are you so looking so tensed today?" She asked me and I shook my head.

" Just a bit tensed about my works in the restaurant. There is a bit pressure of works." I said to her.

" Why don't you leave the job, Ari?" She asked me and I shook my head.

" No, Juliet. I want to support myself and it's the best option I think I should continue. It will help me to have some experience." I said to her and she sighed.

" Ok. As you say. I will not force you to do so but I think you should rethink about your decision, Ari." She said and I nodded.

" How is Whitney doing now?" I asked her.

" She is quite ok now. We are going to visit her after school. Are you coming with us?" She asked me and I nodded.

" Yes, I am. My mom made biriyani for her. She was saying that day in the restaurant that she wants to try it again. So, I asked Mom to make her biriyani." I said to her. She chuckled.

" Wow!!! Great!!! I loved it too. But... Errrr.. it was a bit spicy for my taste buds... hahaha." She said and I chuckled remembering how she was awkwardly mess that day having spicy Indian foods and Ardeyn was irritating her more.

" No worries, it's less spicier. I told Mom about that. And even if I didn't tell her she knew that food for native people and food for a foreign shouldn't be equally spicy." I said to her and she smiled.

" That's great. Thanks to Ms. Roy who knows how to treat a British girl with a huge craving for biriyani." She said and I chuckled.

" Yes, she does." I said to her.

" Didn't you have friends in Dubai?! How they used to tolerate spicy foods?" She asked me and I chuckled.

" They eat spicy foods as well but I used to live in an south Asian community. You know countries of south Asia has almost same taste of spice in their food. So, it wasn't a big problem." I said to her and she nodded.

" God blesses me and may I one day be able to get a chance to visit all those countries who are crazy about spices." She said and I chuckled.

" It's not only about spices it's about flavor." I said. " And India has a great diversity. There are many unique dishes you can find every state you visit. There are 29 states in India. Every state has it's own culture and customs. So, my mom is from West Bengal but she was grown up in South India. There is differences between two states. So, we kinda have a mixed food habit." I said to her. "Umm... Yeah, it sounds a bit weird." I said.

" It doesn't sound awkward. So, your father is from another state or the same one?" She asked and I chuckled.

I hated that guy the most but it's not Juliet's fault that she asked me about him. She doesn't know what has happened in my life so, she is completely unknown about it.

" Yes, he is from Rajasthan." I said to her and she nodded.

" Hmm.. you have a mixed ethnicity then." She chuckled. I smiled.

Well, it's true. I can't classify myself as any specific ethnic group. It's awkward for me. I have grown up in Delhi but I have been in a family who has a mixed influence of different cultures and ethnic groups.

" I agree with that." I said and the classes started. Ardeyn sat next to me and I looked around to find out Asher only to see him sitting with Heidi in the next row.

" You sat here leaving Asher alone?! Won't he mind?" I asked Ardeyn and he rolled his eyes.

" He is not a little kid. Besides he is sitting with Heidi. She is enough to break Susan's face." He said. I narrowed my eyes.

" Why does she need to break Susan's face?" I asked him.

" Cause, she is very irritating." She said to me and I nodded. He is right. She is very very irritating. I have experienced that.

" What has she done now?" Juliet asked him and he smirked at her.

" Oh, I didn't notice you, Latte." He said to her. She rolled her eyes. " Oh, look look, Ari, Latte is boiling." He said and I chuckled inwardly but kept a flat expression cause I didn't want to be killed by Juliet. She was burning with anger already.

" Hey, you 3... Ardeyn, Juliet and Arada!!!" We heard Ms. Stanley saying. We turned to her. She was looking at us narrowing her eyes. " What were you guys discussing about? Let us know as well so that we can join you as well?" She asked us.

" Ms. Stanley, we were discussing about the topic you are discussing. I mean Ari wasn't understanding a point so we were helping her a bit." Ardeyn said. Ms. Stanley glared at us.

" But I haven't started to discuss the topic yet." She said and I mentally slapped myself hard across my face. This Ardeyn stupid will get us detention today.

" I meant to say the topic you discussed in the previous class. You are going to discuss the rest of the topic today. I meant the whole topic." He said. I sighed inwardly. Ms. Stanley kept looking at me for awhile then nodded.

" Ok. Sit down. But Arada, next time be careful. Don't discuss anything in between the class. Do it after your class or in the lunch break and if you face any problem do tell me about it. I am always free to help each of you in your studies." She said and I nodded.

" Surely, Ms. Stanley. Sorry for everything. I will remember that from next time." I said and she nodded before starting to discuss the topic. I glared at Ardeyn and he smiled weakly.

" Everything happened for this stupid." Juliet whispered.

" I heard you." Ardeyn whispered back.

" Shut up you both otherwise I will sew your lips together." I said whispered with a death glare and both of them became silent.

The class ended and it was the lunch hour. I needed to return a book to the library which I had taken home last week. I walked toward the library and found Susan and her gang standing there. I ignored her and return the book to the librarian. I walked toward the bookshelves to pick a new book to take home. I tried to reach the book but I felt like I am a Lilliputian for that height.

" What happened?" I found Asher standing next to me looking at me weirdly.

" I am a Lilliputian." I said out of nowhere.

" What??!" He gave me a shocked expression.

" I mean I need that book." I said and he chuckled looking away then cleared his throat and brought back the calm expression on his face once again. I rolled my eyes.

Why can't he smile more often?! He looks cute with his smile. I shook my head. What am I thinking about?!!

" This one?" He asked me and I nodded. "There you go." He handed me the book.

" Asher, how tall are you?" I asked him and he chuckled.

" Why?" He asked me.

" Just asking out of curiosity. Cause your height will still increase till a few years. God!!! I will look like a Lilliputian around you then. Matter of headache." I said to him mindlessly and he chuckled.

" Let's go. They are waiting for us to have lunch." He dragged me out of there. But I was still worried about that fact. Matter of headache for me.
