Asher's POV

" What's the plan for tomorrow evening?" Ardeyn asked me as soon as he entered the room.

" What about this evening?" I asked him and he rolled his eyes.

" I don't know what is going to happen today. Kentworths are already fuming about it." Ardeyn said.

" Listen, Ardeyn. There is nothing that we can do about it. It's about Uncle Fabian and Cordelia Kentworth. They are matured and they can choose any one to be their partner. No none can stop them. Why are you bothering about it?" I asked him.

" I am bothering about this because I am worried that they will try to do something." He said. I sighed.

" If they try to do something about it then just face it. There is no other option but to do so." I said to him.

" I want to keep it normal but they don't. They are too much about this." He said to me and I sighed deeply.

" What about the Hearhers?" I asked him.

" They are not going to step back." He said and I sighed deeply.

" This is going to make a disaster." I said to him.

" I know but it's not our fault at all. It just happened and we had nothing to do with that, had we?" He asked me and I sighed.

We had nothing to do in this. He was right. This was to happen one day.

" I don't know what to do." He said.

" Calm down. There is definitely a solution for every problem." I said to him. He sighed. I was going to say something but his phone started to ring at once. I gestured him to pick it up.

" Hello, Brie!!!" He said and put it on speaker.

" Ardeyn, grandma is not doing well. We are taking her to the hospital. Will you please help me a bit." She said.

" No worries. We are coming. You just text me the place." Ardeyn said to her.

" I am doing that. Thanks in advance." She said.

" No need to thank me. Come on." Ardeyn said.

"Ok. Bye." She said hurriedly. I shook my head.

" Why doesn't Gabi's aunt visit her mother?" Ardeyn asked me taking his jacket. I shoved my phone inside my pocket and walked out of the room.

" Cause, her grandfather disowned her for her evil nature. She was drug addicted at a very early age and she got married with someone who betrayed Cassidy in worst way possible which caused them to bankrupt. So, she has a worst relationship with her father and rest of the family." I said to him.

" But how can she hate her mother?" Hhe said to me. I shook my head.

" I think she is mentally sick." I said to him and he sighed deeply.

" I can understand that." Ardeyn said.

We reached the hospital in 20 minutes and Gabi was sitting there with housekeeper of Cassidy mansion and her grandmother's PA Eva. 

" What happened to Mrs. Cassidy?" I asked Eva.

" She was working in her study and suddenly she said that she wasn't doing well. Then got unconscious. Doctor was saying that her BP is very high." She said and I nodded.

" Ok. I got it." I said to her and she nodded."Gabi, everything will be ok. Don't worry" I said to Gabrielle who was sitting there very tensed.

" Leave it, have you had your lunch?" Ardeyn asked her. She shook her head either of the sides.

" I will go and buy something for you. No worries." Ardeyn said to her.

" I don't want to have anything now." She said to him.

" No more words." Ardeyn said and she sighed deeply.

We talked to the doctor after awhile and he was like Mrs. Cassidy was too much worried about something. She should relax and stop worrying about things. I think I know what is making her worried. She must be worried about Gabi that if something happens to her what will happen to Gabi then. This is an unsolvable problem for her but worrying about things she is making things more critical. Gabi is a matured girl and I think in future she is going to follow her grandmother's footsteps very soon. She will be able to protect herself. And we all are with her then why is she so worried?!! I think there is something else. Not just only the that thing is bothering her. I think there is something else also which is unknown to us. We have to talk to her what actually happened to her. Mrs. Cassidy was discharged in the evening. We took her home.

" Call me if you need anything." Ardeyn said to Gabrielle. She nodded.

We walked out of Cassidy's house and got a call from uncle Fabian.

" Asher, where are you?" He asked me.

" I am at Cassidy's place. Why?" I asked him.

" Can you meet me now?" He asked me and I looked at Ardeyn weirdly.

" What's wrong? Any problem?" I asked him.

" Just come to my place." He said and hung up. I sighed deeply.

" What was he saying?" Ardeyn asked.

" Asking to meet him." I said to him.

" Ok. Let's go then." He said and we reached his place.

We were really shocked seeing Cordelia Kentworth there at his place. We knew that they have broken up 3 years back then what is she doing here now!!! I was very confused.

" What is going on, uncle Fabian?" I asked him.

" We are getting married." Ms. Kentworth said and I looked at Uncle Fabian weirdly. He sighed deeply.

" I thought about it over and over these days. But I really can't live like this. Why will I sacrifice everything for their stupid enmity??!" He had points. " We will move to Belgium after this. We want to keep our children far away from this family drama." He said and I sighed deeply. May be it's the best decision for them. It's their lives and they have the right to choose what they want.
