Asher's POV

" Thanks for helping Ms. Roy, Professor Lee." Dad said to the old man sitting across us.

" Thanks to you too, Mr. Milverton. I owe a lot to your family and I think Ms. Roy is better than Mrs. Brown. She has a 5 years experience as well which is a plus point for her." He said and Dad chuckled.

" That's great then. Please take care that no one can bother Ms. Roy there cause her previous work experience was not so smooth and didn't make her a pleasant memory. I hope you understand, professor." Dad said and professior Lee nodded.

" Asking just out of curiosity how do you know Ms. Roy?" Professor Lee asked and Dad chuckled then turned to Ardeyn and me.

" Don't you have to go to school today, boys?" Dad asked us. I nodded. " Then you should go. Otherwise you will be late for school today and get detention." He said and I sighed inwardly.

" Let's go." I dragged Ardeyn out of there.

" I wanted to be there to know what they discuss about Ms. Roy." He said.

" Our presence is not that important there that's why Dad asked us to leave." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

" Boys!!!" We turned to see Ardeyn's father uncle Abram.

" When have you come back to London, Dad?" Ardeyn narrowed his eyes at his father before I could say something. I shook my head so did uncle Abram did.

" Welcome home!!!" I said to uncle Abram and hugged him.

He chuckled and hugged me back. But Ardeyn kept standing there with a sour face. I chuckled at his expression.

" I hate this kind of surprise." Ardeyn mumbled.

" Come here." Uncle Abram said and pulled Ardeyn into a hug. Ardeyn didn't react. He was still shock but was trying to act normal.

" This hadn't made anything." Ardeyn said to his father who chuckled.

" So, no talking to Dad?" He asked Ardeyn. Ardeyn didn't say anything. He just kept silent.

" I am getting late for school." Ardeyn said and I shook my head.

" Let me drop you guys then." Uncle Abram said but Ardeyn was acting like a stubborn grumpy kid.

" We are not-" Ardeyn was saying but I got into the car before he could complete the sentence. He got in the car with that grumpy face of his.

" How is your school going on?" Uncle Abram asked.

" Very well." I said.

" Very well for Asher but same for everyone else." Ardeyn said and I rolled my eyes.

" You know, Asher when Ardeyn was of 2, he used call football as khootball." Uncle Abram said and Ardeyn rolled his eyes.

" How will he know that??! When I was 2 he was 2 as well. He is only 2 months older than me and you are acting like it's not just 2 months it's about a decade." Ardeyn said and I chuckled.

" Oh, really?! Interesting." I said to him. Ardeyn glared at me.

" Yes, he used to be very scared of cockroaches as well." Uncle Abram said and Ardeyn glared at his father.

" I know that and it hasn't changed yet." I chuckled trying to irritate him.

" I am not scared of cockroaches. You are talking rubbish." He said to me.

We reached school irritating Ardeyn all the way and all he could do was glaring at us hard. I chuckled.

" Are you coming to school with us?" Ardeyn asked uncle Abram.

" Yes, your principle has called me to meet him." He said to Ardeyn and Ardeyn looked at me in horror.

" Why has that hagfish... Ahem...I mean Mr. Hector has called you, Dad?" Ardeyn asked his father.

" I don't know. You should know that, Ardeyn." Uncle Abram shrugged. Ardeyn looked at me with an innocent look which didn't suit him at all. I chuckled inwardly.

" I haven't done anything. Ask Asher." Ardeyn said and uncle Abram chuckled.

" Now I am sure that you have done something. Mr. Hector hadn't called me to meet him. I was just checking if you have made a mess or not." Uncle Abram said and sighed deeply. " And I am glad to know that you haven't changed. Anyways, you guys must be getting late now." He said. I nodded.

" Hey!!! Ardeyn!!" We heard Aradhya saying. She must haven't noticed Uncle Abram and me.

" Oh, Hi, Asher!!!" She said to me.

" Hi, Ari!!!" Ardeyn said. " This is my Dad." Ardeyn introduced her to uncle Abram who smiled at Ari. " And Dad, this is Ari. My friend." And whispered something to uncle Abram who glanced at me for once then chuckled. This Ardeyn must be saying something awkward. What am I going to do with him??! Just what?!

" Aradhya Roy. Nice to meet you Mr. Northscott." Aradhya said.

" Nice to meet you too, Ms. Roy." Uncle Abram said. Aradhya chuckled.

" You can call me by my name. I will not mind." She said.

" Your name is a bit difficult for me and I don't want to destroy your name. Ms. Roy is perfect for me." Uncle Abram said.

" You can call me Ari then. It's my nickname." Aradhya said. Uncle Abram chuckled.

" Ok, Ari. That's better. But you guys must be getting late today." Uncle Abram said and Aradhya checked the time at once.

" Oh, no. Bye, Mr. Northscott. See you again." Aradhya said and ran inside. I shook my head.

Isn't she turning like Juliet and others?!! Clumsy and drama queen?!!

" We gotta go, Dad. Talk to you later." Ardeyn said and we walked inside as well.

" Ari, wait for us!!!" Ardeyn ran after her. I sighed deeply.

I walked into the classroom and sat next to Whitney who was sleeping peacefully leaning on the desk. I sighed deeply.

" Hey, Winnie!!!" Ardeyn called her sitting next to her.

" Don't disturb." Whitney said.

" Are you ok?! Why are you so upset today?" Jordana asked from back who was sitting with rest of the group.

" Just had migraine last night. Still have a mild pain." She said. I sighed deeply.

" Did you have medicines?" I asked her.

" Yes. No worries. It will be alright." She said.

" Let's go to the doctor after school." Ardeyn said and Mrs. Greene entered the room.
The classes finished after a long day and it was time to go back home.

" Guys, it's my mom's birthday next week. I am arranging a small party. You guys are invited." Ari said and Juliet nodded.

" We will definitely come." Juliet said wrapping her arm around Aradhya's shoulder.

" Ari, are you comfortable working there in that restaurant?" Gabrielle asked and I sighed deeply. I told them not to talk about this matter. These girls are impossible.

" Yup. I was working there for some reason but now I want to work there for experience. It will help me in future." She said and I sighed inwardly.

" And no one knows the future. It's unpredictable." Ardeyn said to her winking at me. I rolled my eyes.
