Aradhya's POV

It was our sangeet ceremony this evening and it ended up awhile back. We wanted to have a separate mehendi ceremony but our concerts got rescheduled in two week. The tickets were sold already. We can't cancel it neither we can postpone it for my wedding ceremony. So, we have to finish the wedding ceremony and reception in a week as we need at least a week to take the preparation. I was going to change and wear something comfortable to apply henna later. I had been dreaming about my wedding all these years but thinking about the mehendi ceremony I am feeling scared now. It's already 10. When will I apply it and when will it be dried and I can go to sleep?!! God helps me. The girls have already started to apply henna cause they got freshen up in between the sangeet ceremony. I was stuck with the guests. Poor me.

I reached the corridor and was going to my room when I found Anna and Sanam Dee in the end of the corridor. I chuckled at them.

" I haven't seen anything." I said and they looked at me at once.

" What did you want to see, Chhoti?" Anna asked and I pouted.

" You guys should get a room. There are guests." I said and he chuckled before reaching me wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

" She got the pin stuck on her dupatta. I was just helping her, Chhoti." He said.

" Yeah, I know where it was stuck." I smirked at him and he ruffled my hair.

" Abhi jaldi jao, shower lena chahti ho to lai lo. Abhi to mehendi lagani hai na." (Hurry up, Chhoti. Take a shower if you want. You still have to apply henna.) Sanam Dee said and I smiled.

" Ja rahi hoon. Aap log phirse shuru maat ho jaana. Guests hai na ghar mai." ( I am going but you guys don't start over again. There are guests at home.) I winked at them and ran toward my room and closed the door behind.

I quickly took a shower and changed my clothes. Though I told Dee that we were but going to have a separate mehendi ceremony but still she bought the dresses for every ceremony. I whole the dress she bought for me. It was a shiver top with red and yellow printed skirt.

I walked downstairs and found the girls were already there

I walked downstairs and found the girls were already there. I found many of the guests were still there. I sat there and started to apply henna. I was very sleepy already.

" Where to write your husband's name?" The henna artist asked me.

" You write somewhere that he can never ever find out." I said to her and she chuckled.

" What to write?" She asked me.

" Asher." I said and looked at the lawn.

Asher and Ardeyn were talking to Anna and two of my jijus. Suddenly he looked up at me and I looked away then looked again. This time Ardeyn smirked at me. I rolled my eyes at him. He said something to Asher who looked at him irritatingly. I sighed. It was half past 12 when my henna was done. I was so sleepy but I couldn't sleep before my henna dries. Asher appeared out of nowhere and he checked my henna for awhile. I chuckled.

" It is said that the darker the henna turns the stronger the love of the husband for his wife is." I said to Asher and he rolled his eyes.

" I don't believe those superstitious beliefs." He said and I shook my head. " But you have a fair skin, henna will get darker anyway." He said and I rolled my eyes.

He is so unromantic. He walked away and came back with a plate. I was really hungry. I didn't get time to have my dinner. How did he know that?!! He sat across me and gestured me to open my mouth.

" Do you want to starve yourself a few hours more?! If you are planning to do so then drop it otherwise before going to the wedding venue we will have take you to the hospital." He said to me and I rolled my eyes.

" There are guests and they are watching us." I said.

" Do I look like I care?" He asked me.

There is no use of saying anything to him. He will not listen to me. So, I let him do whatever he wants to do. I finished having dinner and he walked away with the plate. I was sitting there and the girls and women of the house were applying henna. Kids were with their fathers tonight and the mothers were enjoying the henna ceremony. I chuckled seeing Jordana applying henna already. She was blowing them to dry. I shook my head. It was awhile when I found my henna dried and I said goodnight to everyone as I needed sleep as for now. I walked upstairs and went to my room. I closed the door behind and removed the dried henna from my hands and feet. It took a long. It would be better if anyone helped me but it's not possible. Everyone is applying henna. I shouldn't disturb them. I changed my clothes and got freshen up. I took pictures of my hands and legs before sending them to Asher. He must wide awake still now. He called me after awhile. I picked the call up.

" It turned dark." I said to him and he chuckled.

" Wasn't it obvious?" He asked me. I rolled my eyes. " I love you from last 10 years. It's a decade now." He said and I chuckled.

" I also love you." I said to him.

" You do but I love you from long before you realized the feelings of yours." He said.

" Yes, I was confused. I needed time to make it sure for myself." I said to him.

" You took so long and made me wait for you so long." He said. " And finally it's going to come to the end tomorrow." He said.

" I can't believe Asher Milverton can talk that bold." I said and he chuckled.

" I was waiting for us to get married. What you think?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes.

" Nothing. Sleep." I said and he laughed.

I hung up the call. I smiled. Just tonight, we will be together tomorrow night. The waiting of years comes to the end.
