Beautiful Memories

Aradhya's POV

" Sab thik se pack kia na? Phir se check Karo, Ari." (Have you taken everything? Check it properly, Ari.) Mom said to me. I nodded.

" Relax, Maa. Sab le lia maine." (Relax, Mom. I have taken everything.) I said to her. " Passport, my phone, charger." I said to her and she chuckled.

" Enjoy your trip. Have fun." Mom said and I chuckled.

" I will miss you." I said to her hugging her tightly.

" Bas 3 dino ki hi to baat hai, Ari."  (It's only about 3 days, Ari. Everything will be alright.) Mom said.

" I hope so. But I will still miss you a lot." I said to her and she chuckled.

" Once you reach there and see the new year celebration you will enjoy it to get time to miss me. Besides your friends are there to take care of your mood. I am sure they will not let you have time to miss me." Mom said and I rolled my eyes.

" I will still miss you." I said to her and she chuckled.

" Ari, I know you will miss me but I will ask you to enjoy to the fullest. Life is all about a sum of memories. Now you have to decide do you want to make beautiful memories for yourself or you just want to stuck with a worst nightmare. I know talking about past it was nothing but a worst memory for you. But keep holding on the past is a stupidity. You have right to live your life as you want. It's your life. You shouldn't let anyone spoil it. You should make beautiful memories in your life so that when you will look back you will not find that worst memories in your life. They should be covered behind your beautiful memories. It's you who can make you happy and it's you who can destroy yourself. Be smart and choose the right thing." Mom said and I nodded.

" I will remember that." I said to her and she smiled.

" That's my girl." She said kissing on my forehead. " Aapna khayal rakhna." (Take care of yourself.)

" Aap bhi." (You too) I said to her. She patted my head.

I heard the doorbell ringing and opened the door to find out Gabrielle and Asher standing on the doorstep.

" Come in, guys." I said to them and they walked inside.

" We have to hurry. Otherwise we will miss the ferry." Gabrielle said.

" I thought we were going to Paris on flight." I said to her.

" Ferry ride is an awesome experience, Ari. You will love it. We changed our plan in the eleventh hour just for you." Gabrielle said. I chuckled.

" I am so grateful for that." I said to her and she laughed.

" It was Asher's plan." Gabrielle said.

" Then thanks to Asher." I said to her and she chuckled.

" You don't have to tell us to take care of Ari, Ms. Roy. We will take care of her." Gabrielle said to Mom and Mom chuckled.

" I am sure about that." Mom said.

" Don't worry, Ms. Roy. Aradhya is in safe hands." Asher said to Mom and I chuckled.

" You guys take care. You may get late." Mom said and Gabi checked the time.

" Oh, no!!" Gabi said.

" What happened?" I asked her.

" It's just 30 minutes to go." She said.

" We have to go now if we want to catch the ferry." Asher said.

" Bye, Mom." I said hugging her tightly.

We walked out of our house and found the car was already waiting for us I found Juliet checking her phone leaning on the car and glaring at Ardeyn time to time while Ardeyn was smirking at her. Juliet glared at him and started to hit him with the water bottle she was holding in her hand. Ardeyn laughed at her reaction.

" What happened to these two now?" I asked Gabi.

" Jeezzz!!! They are fighting still now?" Gabi said.

" Why are they fighting now?" I asked her.

" Juliet was sleeping on the car as she slept late last night and Ardeyn just took pictures of her while she was sleeping." Gabi said. I chuckled. These two are kids!!!

" Get into the car then keep fighting. If you guys don't wanna join then you are wholeheartedly welcome. Just give us space to get in the car." Asher said to both of them. They stopped for the time being.

" Ok, I got it." Gabi said and got in the car.

Juliet followed her and I sighed deeply before getting in the car. Asher sat next to me after that. I was very excited to explore a new city. It was going to be a new experience for me. I have never been in Paris before.

" How are you feeling, Ari?" Jordana asked me from back. I chuckled.

" Well, definitely excited." I said to her.

" I am excited too." Whitney said.

" Well, is this your first trip to Paris?" I asked her.

" No. I have been there before but I have never been there on New year celebration. I am excited for that." She said to me and I chuckled.

" When will we be in Paris?" I asked them.

" It will take nearly 2 hours to be in France." Heidi said. I nodded.

I was looking out of the window. I was going to make a beautiful memory like Mom said. Why will I let someone else to waste my life?!! I will never ever let someone trouble me anymore. Not even to my past. Not at all.

" Stop the car, Cole." Asher said out of nowhere.

" What happened, Asher?" Juliet asked. He got down and hold my hand before dragging me out of the car as well.

" Are you guys not coming?" Ardeyn asked and I glared.

" What's the problem?" I asked Asher.

" You sit on the window side." Asher said and I kept looking at him weirdly. How does he know I badly wanted to sit on the window side?!! " Get in, Aradhya. We are getting late." Asher said and I got in the car. He closed the door before sitting on the passenger seat with Cole who was driving the car. I smiled and looked outside to view the beauty of the city. I have never been in this part of the city. Beauty was all around and I was ready to let my past go to make some beautiful memories for myself.
