Wipe The Darkness Away

It was 7:30 and we reached the port of Dover already. We had to cross the English channel to reach Calais. I was looking around and it was very different from Dubai. Cause, Dubai is all about luxury and
London is a famous and historic city. It is the capital of England in the United Kingdom. The city is quite popular for international tourism because London is home to one of the oldest-standing monarchies in the western hemisphere. I heard British are very sensitive about their history, customs and culture. I can see that very clearly now.

" You liked it?" Juliet asked me and I smiled.

" It's beautiful." I said.

" It is." She said.

" I am hungry as hell." Gabi said to her.

" Once we get in the ferry we will have breakfast." Ardeyn said.

" You will love it, Ari." Jordana said. I nodded.

After awhile the car stopped and we checked in and we found out ferry. The ferry was named Stena Line. Though they were calling it a ferry but I think it can be called a ship as well because of it's size. It was huge. We got in the ferry and it started for Calais. It may take one and half hour to reach Calais as they said. I am not sure how long will it take to reach Paris.

" Breakfast time, guys!!! I am hungry as hell." Gabi said and I shook my head. "What!!! I am hungry." Gabi said to us.

" Gabi, I afraid that you will turn into a football very soon." Ardeyn said.

" Shut up!!!" She said to him and he chuckled.

" You will look cute. A cute little balloon." Ardeyn said pinching on her nose. She glared at him.

" Stupid." She slapped his hand away from her. He chuckled.

We had breakfast then went to the upper deck. We could see the view of English channel there. It was very beautiful. I took pictures of us. I was very excited to see the view.

" It will take an hour and half to reach there, right?" I asked Gabi.

" It will take an hour and half to reach Calais. Then it depends how long it will take to reach Paris. It may take 3 hour and so to reach Paris. Don't worry. We will be there soon." She said and I chuckled.

" Next time we will come to Paris, we will go by channel tunnel." Heidi said.

" You are so boring, Bro." Whitney said.

" Dude, I haven't get my sleep properly last night." Heidi said to her.

" Then you can go and sleep in the car, Bro." Gabi said handing her the coffee.

" But I don't want to miss the fun." She said and I chuckled.

" Imagine crossing English channel swimming. How exciting is that?!!" Jordana said to Whitney who rolled her eyes.

" I can't even swim, Dude." Whitney said.

" Oops!!! Wrong person." Jordana said. " Ari, what do you think about it?" Jordana asked me.

" I am not very confident in my swimming skill." I said to her and she sighed.

" Don't disappoint me, Ardeyn." Jordana said to Ardeyn who chuckled.

" It's very exciting. What will cost thinking about it, Dude? We can even think about climbing the seven summit. There is no issues in thinking about it." Ardeyn said and Jordana glared at him. He chuckled.

" I wish I could do that." Jordana said.

" No problem. One day you will be able to do so." I said to her wrapping my arms around her shoulder.

" Yes, you will make us proud one day." Gabi said. Juliet was about to say something but Ardeyn interrupted her.

" Yes. We will not be surprised if you climb the seven summit." Ardeyn said and I chuckled inwardly. Jordana glared at him and he chuckled.

" Hi!!!" I heard a familiar voice and turned to see Eros.

" Hey, Eros!!" I said to him. He chuckled.

" Going to Paris?" He asked me.

" Yes. How do you know?" I asked him and checked my friends with the corner of my eyes. I could say that they were not happy seeing me talking to Eros. But I have literally no idea why  there is a cold war between the group and Eros..

" I saw Juliet's post in Instagram." He said and Juliet nodded.

" Oh. So, you are going to Paris as well?" I asked him.

" Now I so badly want to go to Paris but I am afraid that I will not be able to because I promised my grandparents to visit them on New year. They are in Brussels. I am going to Belgium from Calais." He said.

" You could directly have the flight to Brussels, Eros." Heidi said smiling a bit.

" Well, I can ask the same question to you, Gabrielle." He said to Heidi.

" Yes, we could but ferry ride is more exciting." Heidi said and he chuckled.

" Exactly. I will meet a friend in Calais who will join me to Brussels." He said and Heidi nodded.

" That's great." Heidi said.

" I should  be going now. You guys enjoy." He said and walked away from there. The whole atmosphere was still a bit abnormal.

" What happened, guys? Anything wrong?" I asked them.

" Nothing, Ari. Just chill." Juliet said to me and gestured me to stop discussing about the topic.

I nodded. It was a bit awkward and mysterious. Why doesn't they like to Eros at all??! It's a completely mystery to me. I was in a very awkward situation. Rest of the journey spend in taking photos and talking about the trip to Paris. But I was still stuck with the topic of Eros. Soon we reached Calais. Our journey stared again.

" You can have a peaceful sleep now, Heidi. It will take awhile to reach Paris." Ardeyn said to Heidi and she nodded. It was no longer after that she fall asleep. I looked at her weirdly. She sleeps faster than me. She just closed her eyes and slept!!! I mean how, dude?!!

" She has slept already?" I waved my hand before her. Gabi chuckled putting on the headphones.

" She is bless with that." Juliet said.

I sighed and leaned back to have some sleep. Hope this trip to Paris can help me to take a step to wipe away the darkness from my life.
