Aradhya's POV

" Kis se baat ker rahi ho, Chhoti?" (Whom are you talking to, Chhoti?) I heard Dee's voice and found her walking downstairs.

" Akka ne phone kia." (Akka called me) I said to her and she smiled.

" Kaha hain bandi abhi?" (Where is that girl now?) She asked.

" Ghar main hi hoon." (I am at home) she said.

" Aaj ghar per ho? Yesa kaisy ho sakta Hain, Bhai?" (You are at home today?! How is that possible?) Dee asked her.

" Aaj mere ek hi flight thi. Delhi to Jaipur." (I had only one flight today. Delhi to Jaipur) she said and I chuckled.

" Oh, Sanam bhi ghar per Hain?"(Oh, Sanam is at home as well?) Dee said smilingly.

" Haan, abhi kuch der pehle hi aye. Golgappa kha rahi thi gali ke paas. Pakad ke layi hoon. Anna Ghar per hain to madam ji Ghar per kadam bhi nahi rakhenge." (Yes. She has come just awhile back. She was having golgappa nearby. Dragged her home from there. Anna is at home so he doesn't want to come home.) Anna said and I chuckled.

" Hi, Anna!!!" Dee said and I found him standing on the door step. Akka elbowed Sanam Dee but she rolled her eyes.

" Main bewaqoof nahi hoon ki bar bar pichhe murke dekhungi usko." (I am not a stupid to look for him again and again) Sanam Dee said rolling her eyes.

" Kisko?" (Whom?) Dee asked.

" Tum logo k Anna ko." (You brother.) Sanam said.

" Hamre Anna aur tumhare..." (Our brother and you...) Dee smirked.

" He is not my brother. He can never be. No. Not at all. Never ever." Sanam said.

" To woh tumhari kya lagta hain, Sanam?" (Then who is he to you?) Dee asked. Sanam was about to say something but she got frozen as soon as she heard Anna's voice.

" Hi, Diya. How are you doing?" He said and Sanam gulped. She looked at Akka who just nodded to let her know that he heard everything that she said. She gulped and stood up before running toward the washroom and closed the door at once.

" What's wrong with her?" Anna asked Akka.

" Don't know Anna. She is just a bit afraid of you." Akka said and he rolled his eyes.

" Afraid of me??! Anyways. She is not my topic." Anna said. " Hi, pumpkin pie. How are you?" He asked me and I glared at him.

" I hate pumpkin." I gritted.

" But we all love pumpkin pie." He said and both Dee and Akka nodded agreeing with the fact. I rolled my eyes.

" Aap kaisy hain? Aap ghar per kaisy hain? Vacation mil gye Kya?" (How are you? Suddenly you are at home? Got a vacation?) I asked Anna. He chuckled.

" I am always in my duty. There is no vacation for me." He said to me. I sighed deeply.

I am proud of my brother that he is sacrificing a lot for his country and the people. But at the end of the day he is also a human being. He has his family as well and his family members miss him when he is away from home. I specifically miss him on raksha bandhan. We seldom get chance to put on the rakhi as all of us stays thousands of miles away.

" I know that." I said to him.

" So how is the life in the UK so far?" He asked me.

" Very well. I didn't expect to be so comfortable here." I said to him.

" Has your father showed up again?" He asked me and I shook my head.

" No. He hasn't shown up again." I said to him.

" Very well." He said and I sighed. " Your grandparents kept a huge amount for you in their testament. If I am not wrong he wants that money." Anna said and I looked at him weirdly.

" Aapko kaisy paata?" (How do you know that?) I asked him. He chuckled.

" I have my own ways." He said.

" Lekin woh mujhe apni property ka hissa karenge hi kyun?! They hates my mother and me." (Why would they keep me in their testament?! They hates my mother and me.) I said to him and he shrugged.

" Mujhe nahi paata, Chhoti. Baas yehi paata k tumhare dada ji k sath tumhare baba ki baat huyi isko leke. Lekin tumhare dada ji apna faisala nahi badla." (I don't know, Chhoti. I just know that your father and grandfather has discussed about this but your grandfather didn't change his mind.) He said and I nodded. I was right. He had his own reason to try to have my custody. I hate him even more.

" Even if my so called grandpa has that in his testament I am not at all interested in his money. He kicked out my mom and me from their house at late night and we spend whole the night on the street. I still haven't forgotten anything." I said to him and he sighed. " Hum wese hi bohot daare huye thay aur ek sharabi aake maa k sath badtamezi kerne lagi." (We were already very scared and suddenly a drunken stupid appeared and started to irritate my mother.) I said and they went silent. " I don't need his money. If you meet them then tell them that it took long but finally I erased all of the bad memories from my life along with them. And my mother earns enough to afford everything for us. We don't need their money." I said and Dee patted my head.

" You don't have to take their money. But may be your grandparents realized that they did wrong with you. That's why they wanted to repent." He said.

" If they want to repent then they should say sorry to my mother. That can help them not their money or property." I said and he chuckled.

" That's like my girl. Remember we all are with you. You father can't do anything. Be strong. He can't have your custody. You will have right to speak for yourself in the courtroom." Anna said and I sighed.

I think my father will not leave any chance humiliate us. We have to be prepared for that.
