Lin Yie feels that he just had a dream. In that dream, he finally met an angel, but she was a bit different from what he expected.

Although she had a halo and a pair of wings, she didn't feel holy at all. Instead of holy flame or holy light, she used guns and bullets.

What's more terrifying is that she didn't do that for free. When he recalls the number of zeros on that bill, Lin Yie jumps out of bed in horror.

He looks at his surroundings and notices that he was sleeping on a soft bed. A gentle light is shining on his face.

"So it was a dream." Lin Yie is relieved.

"What dream?" He hears a familiar voice and quickly turns around. Exusiai is sitting on a nearby bed with a cake in her hand.

"Yo, did you sleep well?" Exusiai greets him, "You passed out too suddenly. It was quite scary."

Lin Yie looks at the halo above her expressionlessly. He realized that this room's lights are not turned on. That gentle light is from above her head.

"Were you hungry?" Exusiai hands the cake over, "Do you want a slice of my apple pie?"

He does feel a bit hungry, but Lin Yie shakes his head and asks, "How was it?"

"What are you asking?"

"Everything." Lin Yie surveys his surroundings, "I am in my dorm, so does that mean things have calmed down?"

"Yep." Exusiai nods, "Fortunately, your building didn't get destroyed, but the same can't be said for buildings with more than twenty floors. They are no longer hospitable. I think it will cost a lot to repair them."

"I am not asking that."

"I know. I know." Exusiai nods, "You are asking about your two Sarkaz friends, right? Medics already checked on them. They are fine. And they should be in the next room. As for the intruders, they are wiped out by Chen Sir's L.G.D., although they weren't easy to deal with. However, their leader escaped."

"That W?"

"I don't know who that is, but she's gone." Exusiai shrugs, "Chen Sir seems pretty angry, but there is nothing she can do. Lungmen is too big. As for Rhodes Island, Dr. Kal'tsit should be on her way here. And the squad that was on the cargo mission already delivered it to Ursus and returned."

Lin Yie pauses, "Why? Didn't that car have nothing in it? Lungmen's plan was seen through. Wouldn't the escort be meaningless?"

Exusiai snaps her fingers and shakes her head, "That's where you are wrong. Why would there be no meaning? The mission they gave you was to escort the 'cargo' to Ursus, right? If there is no 'cargo' in the car, that's Lungmen's business. Rhodes Island just needs to complete the mission and get paid."

Lin Yie understands now, "I get it. Lungmen dug the hole for itself. It has to jump in, even though its plan was seen through."

"Bingo." Exusiai chuckles, "You guys made a killing, although it might not be great for you."

Lin Yie sighs, "I almost died. Why would that be good?"

"You get something, and you lose something. Lungmen knows that, so it took the loss willingly." Exusiai says, "Ursus won't pay them without the 'cargo.'"

That reminds Lin Yie. He hurriedly asks, "That 'cargo' is a person, right? The intruders said she was a traitor."

"I don't know the details." Exusiai says, "But Chen Sir looked pretty upset, so I guess they didn't survive. Based on that alone, Rhodes Island was pretty lucky."

"Lucky?" Lin Yie doesn't understand, "Why?"

"Your squad didn't have that many people." Exusiai shrugs and shoves the slice of apple pie into her mouth, "If you guys received the actual 'cargo,' it would have turned out badly for you."

"Anyway, I am leaving." Exusiai says, "Job's finished. I should go back now."

Lin Yie nods, "Alright. Thank you."

"No problem."

The two exchange courtesies, but nobody moves.

Exusiai looks at Lin Yie. And Lin Yie looks at her.

"Really?" Exusiai takes out the bill, "Boss, are you really not going to pay? Wow. I went all the way to save you."

Lin Yie feels embarrassed, "Sorry. It is not that I don't want to pay... I really can't afford that much. To be honest, you guys charge too much."

"We are moving life and death, boss." Exusiai says, "Look, I already gave you a discount."

Lin Yie really can't afford the bill. It would take him five years, working nonstop without food and housing. That's why he wants to ask Kal'tsit whether this is reimbursed or not. It should count as a work injury.

"Does your company always charge this much?" Lin Yie can't help but ask.

"Nah. Other combos are cheaper." Exusiai says, "Combo 1 is just more expensive."

Lin Yie pauses, "Why is that?"

"Because combo 1 is me." Exusiai points at herself, "You saw how I fight, right? You are paying for all those bullets."

"So I wouldn't need to pay for bullets if I chose other combos?"

"Of course not. I am the only one who uses guns."

Exusiai stares at him confusedly, and her halo is getting brighter.

"You didn't ask."

Lin Yie is speechless. He thinks angels are more terrifying than devils now.
