Even though they are all Sarkaz, Hibiscus's dream is far less miserable than Shining and Nightingale's.

In Hibiscus's dream, her parents anticipated the Sarkaz civil war and left Kazdel with their daughters in advance, so Hibiscus and Lava weren't trapped in a tunnel-like Nightingale, nor did they find themselves on a battlefield like Shining.

They led a very ordinary life, but unfortunately, they contracted oripathy. In order to not burden their parents, the two sisters left their home. They came to work in Rhodes Island while receiving treatment. Therefore, the sisters' dreams are not even close to what Lin Yie experienced with Chen, Nightingale, Shining, and Nearl.

To be honest, her dream is a bit boring. It's like watching a slideshow, with the scenes and characters constantly changing. Lin Yie just stands there and watches Hibiscus and Lava grow up until they become operators in Rhode Island. But it's these boring moments that put him at ease. It's a much-needed change of pace after going through the more gruesome dreams.

After about ten minutes, Hibiscus wakes up.

"As you saw, our pasts are not that bad. If there was anything unpleasant, it would be during the period when we first contracted oripathy. We lost hope, but fortunately, our parents never gave upon us."

Lin Ye even sees a tinge of envy in Shining's eyes.

"All readings are normal," Lava passes the report to Hibiscus, "Did you feel any discomfort?"

Hibiscus shakes her head, "It felt like a good night's sleep, a nice dream actually. Oh, I actually saw you, Lava. The kid from next door stole your food."

Lava purses her lips, glaring slightly, "You still remember that?"

Hibiscus chuckles.

Nearl looks at Lin Yie, "Did you touch Hibiscus in her dream?"

"I did," Lin Yie says, "I also said a few words to her, but I spent most of the time watching them grow up"

Hibiscus seems a little shocked, "Really? But I don't remember seeing you, Dr. Lin."

"Maybe your dream is just too peaceful."

"So... it's Lava's turn now?" Hibiscus looks at Lava who quickly straightens her expression, "Are you ready?"

Lava nods, "But I don't think my dream will be any different from yours."

"Yeah, we're sisters after all."

Lava lies down and takes some sleeping pills.

Lin Yie actually feels a bit exhausted. He doesn't know if his fatigue was caused by using his ability in quick succession, or because he hasn't eaten all day. He feels like he just spent an entire night in an internet cafe.

However, now is not the time to rest.

But before Lin Yie can use his ability on Lava, Nightingale pulls on his sleeves. She gives him her bag of pineapple buns.

"You are giving this to me?"

"Yeah." Nightingale nods.

"Are you sure you don't want them?"

"No, but you haven't had breakfast yet."

Lin Yie feels really moved like his helpless child suddenly grew up.

"Alright then, thank you.."

Lin Yie grabs the bag, but Nightingale doesn't let go. He raises an eyebrow.

"If you want the pineapple buns, I won't take them from you."

Nightingale purses her lips and releases her grip reluctantly, eyes glued to the bag.

As Lin Yie chows down her buns, Nightingale stares sadly at him, watching her buns disappear into his belly.

Once he's finished, Lin Yie sighs in contentment. The buns themselves were not particularly filling, but because Nightingale gave him her favorite food, he feels energized.

Even his mind is clearer now.

"Here goes nothing," Lin Yie grabs Lava's hand.

Lava opens her eyes and looks at Lin Yie, "Dr. Lin, I am not sleeping yet."

"Oh..."

After about ten minutes, Lava finally falls asleep.

...

Half an hour later, Lin Yie emerges from her dream.

It was the same as Hibiscus's.

After hearing Lin Yie's description, Hibiscus beams, "Of course, we are sisters after all."

Shining looks at the report and says, "There were no abnormalities. Everything is fine."

Lin Yie asks, "So everyone turned out to be fine?"

"That means Liz is a special case," Nearl says helplessly,

Lin Yie sighs in frustration.

"We can try making Liz enter deep sleep. "The Shining says, "If we make her take the pills, things might be different."

Nearl looks at Shining, "I never thought, of all people, you would say that."

"In light of current circumstances, medication doesn't seem so bad anymore," Shining answers softly,

Nearl sends a pensive look towards Lin Yie, "Dr. Lin, what do you think?"

"What?" Lin Yie is taken aback by her question, "I don't know anything about drugs."

Shining says, "Then just listen to me."

Shining turns to Nightingale. "Liz, what do you think?"

Liz doesn't object to Shining's decision.

The majority has spoken. There is nothing Nearl can do now.

"Then it's up to you now, Dr. Lin."

The weight of expectation and responsibility is crushing Lin Yie once more.

Then, at the last minute, he remembers something.

"Wait! I need assistance." Lin Yie begins fishing in his pocket for his phone.

"If you need our help, just say it."

"Not from you."

Lin Yie takes out his phone and dials a number.

When his call is finally answered, Lin Yie says, "Ptilopsis, I need you to... Wait... No, don't fall asleep yet! I need your help!"
