Other Information:
• In introducing Erik to Christianity in this fanfiction, I do not mean to play the part of God. "Fatal Flaw" is just a fictional story, and I really wanted to see Erik find the Light. In real life, however, only the Lord can make this happen.

• The characters in this story belong to their rightful owners (such as Gaston Leroux and Victor Hugo), not to me. All I've done is taken them and written a fanfiction about them.

The Phantom's Butterfly by Duds_003

Sophia was a perfect girl with an ideal family. She has a perfect life with her wealthy parents and talented people. Suddenly, she died in a car crash. But she was transmigrated from her favorite R-19 erotic romance novel 'The Phantasma' and reincarnated as Angelica Rodriguez, the noble daughter of Marquess Rodriguez and the most beautiful woman in her country of England, and a side character who was fated to die in the chandelier accident caused by the Phantom's anger, the antagonist in the story. To prevent her death in the future, she must change the Phantom's fate and then make the female protagonist fall in love with the Phantom so that she can live an undisturbed life, but... That wasn't according to her plan. "I love you, Angelica," he murmured, his breath a ghost against my skin as he clutched my hands with a grip that bordered on pain. "I've loved you with an all-consuming fire since our youth. My soul has bound to yours. You are the light that pierces my eternal night. Should anyone dare to harm you, to seduce you... I will unleash a fury so consuming it will erase them from existence. I will tear them apart piece by piece." His grip tightened further, his eyes alight with a ferocious, almost unhinged devotion. Then she realized... She became his new obsession. Will she continue her plan and live a peaceful life? Or will she accept and fall in love instead? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Note: Chapters 0 to 9 are currently under revision. I'm trying to enhance the narrative and character development to provide a richer reading experience. Thank you for your understanding and support as I refine this journey. Stay tuned for the updated chapters!

"Christine, I love you." The phantom's voice played a sweet tune in my mind. It was the first time he had confessed his love, but sadly, I couldn't return the favor. He had given me everything, fame, fortune, and a life of excitement and curiosity. Still, he had threatened to hang my beloved Raoul and sentence me to an eternity locked away from the world. My clammy hands shook with emotion as I slid the beautiful, diamond ring off my finger. The disfigured man helplessly gazed into my eyes, transforming my soul. I was the only one to look past his hideous physical appearance, to know how to comfort a creature of darkness; I couldn't bare holding in my emotions any longer. Tears plunged down my pale cheeks and I looked down to take his hand. Making sure not to drop the small item, I closed his rough fingers around the ring. "Goodbye," all sadness echoing through my word. I spun around and dragged my wedding dress through the foggy water to meet Raoul's awaiting boat. *** UPDATE 2020: Hello, all! I realized that this book recently gained traction in the fanfic world of Wattpad, again. Unfortunately, I wrote this back in 2014 and have yet to go through and edit. At one point, I planned on making a sequel to this. I don't expect to do so any time soon, but I appreciate the reads and the comments!
