They lead me up a hill, an extremely steep hill, I'm shattered by the time I get to the top. They keep telling me that the climb is worth it and that I will love it. I hope so.
"D'you mind getting a little muddy?" Charlie asks me
"Nah, the more mud the better" I reply.
We walk up a path which is filled with mud and leafs, it had recently been raining and it probably wasn't the best idea to walk straight into the mud, totally will fall on my arse. Ollie is walking behind me and Charlie is chatting with Toby
"Hey Ollie, what's up man?" I say
"I'm just worried about Noah and I'm a little pissed at myself about punching Adam." he replies
"We're almost there" Toby shouts from the front of the group
"Wait what's that?" I ask
"Where?" Ollie says
"Over there" I say pointing to an old bunker.
"Oh, they're like, German bunker things" Toby says
"They're really creepy Tay" Ollie says whilst sneaking up behind Toby and making him jump.
"Can we explore?" I say whilst the others give me a look as if I'm insane
"They're creepy Tay. Like holy shit creepy" Charlie says with a straight face
"There's an old crumbled building down here" Toby says as we follow him, he was right, there was an old crumbled building, it looked like something out of the game uncharted.
"This is an awesome view guys" I say taking a few pictures
"It's parts like this that we cherish little Oxford" Toby says
"It's a beautiful place on a sunny day" Ollie interrupts
We sit on the bench that overlooks Oxfords town centre and harbour, it's a picture perfect view and nothing like I had ever seen before. I was glad I had these friends, if only Noah was here to make this moment that little bit more special.
**Noahs' Point Of View**
I wake up with a sharp jolt, the time is unaware to me and confusion fills my head. I knew not where I was, who I was or what I knew, everything was a blur.
"Adam!" I croak which only hurts my dry throat. "Adaaaam!"
"Noah? Noah it's okay" he says running into my room and giving me a hug "it's nice to see you awake. You've been asleep since 7:30ish yesterday"
"What happened?" I ask
"You got knocked out by Joel then tired yourself out" he explains "we decided not to wake you."
"Oh" I say "thanks?"
"You're awake then" Dan says whilst leaning against my door frame
"I suppose I am" I reply
"Noah what day is it?" He asks
"I don't know" I reply
"What time is it?" He questions
"I don't know" I say getting a little angry.
"Interesting" Dan mumbles as he walks out the door.
"Sunday, 5:30pm" Adam tells me
"Shit" I say "I've been asleep almost 24 hours"
"You certainly knocked yourself out" he jokes
"What happened to your nose?" I say,
"Ollie punched me" Adam hesitates
"He wouldn't!" I say "he trusts and likes you"
"Well he did and we know not where he is" Adam says
"We need to find him Adam!" I say
"Noah, get dressed and come meet me in my office okay?" Adam says walking out the door
I sit up in my bed and look around the floor for a pair of jeans, they're on the back of my desk chair, not where I last saw them but whatever... Once I had slipped on my jeans and a clean tee I make my way to Adams room. I felt groggy and a little nauseous but I dare not tell them that. I walk in without knocking and sit in the chair opposite Adam.
"Phone Ollie" he demands
"What?" I say shocked at his stern tone
"Phone. Ollie." He repeats
I take out my cell from my pocket and punch in Taylors number. Ollie wouldn't answer a call to me but he had to answer to Taylor.
"Noah? Oh god it's so nice to hear your voice!" She starts
"Listen, is Ollie there? I need to talk to him" I say
"Yeah, I'll just put him on the phone" she says
"Noah?" Ollie says, the sound of his voice was rather comforting.
"Ollie are you okay?" I ask
"Yeah, I'm fine. Little shaken up, how's Adam?" He asks
"Adams fiine, we're all just concerned to where you are" I say
"I'm out with Toby, Charlie and Taylor" he says
"Where've you been staying?" I ask curiously
"I bunked with Toby" he says quietly
"Are you coming back to the hostel?" I ask
"Is Adam mad at me?" He asks softly
"No, God no. He just wants you back Ollie; we both do." I tell him
"I'll be back in time for tea. I promise you" Ollie says
"I miss you ollie" I say
"I miss you too Noah" he says then puts the phone down
"He will be back in time for tea" I tell Adam
"He better" Adam says "in the meantime, steer clear of Joel okay?"
"Mhm" I say as I walk towards the door.
I walk down the hall to the recreation room and look at the boys who are playing pool, it didn't feel right without Ollie around, there was something wrong with him not being here. There was a bad vibe, like something was about to go wrong...
