CHAPTER 33: EYES ON YOU

Shehnaaz came and stood near him noticing his bemused eyes on her. She knows she is looking good. And he seems to be bewilder looking at her. She noticed him staring at her quite a time in last week. Especially after that morning when they got a little closer.

She gave a flirty smirk to him. He gave a same flirty smile showing her how much he is impressed. Without using any words.

But he couldn't hold any longer.

"You look Stunning." He said.

"I know." She flipped her hair from her shoulder. He chuckled.

"Waise aap hospital se kaise ready ho gaye?" she again asked.

"Mere office me hamesha reheta hain kuch kapre emergency ke liye. I need to attend some meetings and some parties regularly." He said. She pouted her lips as 'Ow'. He pulled the car door for her, she got in.

They were in the car him driving and she clicking some pictures of her.

"Sidharth" she said making his heart flattered hearing his first name from her. She always was very uneasy calling him that. She is getting easy with him. he liked it.

"Haan? Bolo" he replied with a smile.

"Please car thik se drive karna. Mujhe dar lagraha hain." she said making his smile go vanished in a instant. She is again taunting him for the accident she had because of him.

He sighed loudly.

"Shehnaaz, I explained this many times. That wasn't my fault. Why you have doubts on my driving skill. Come on" he said

"Yeah right. Aapke galti nehi hain. galti meri hi thi" she said sarcastically.

"I think we never gonna get over this. You blaming me for the accident and me explaining you that I wasn't my fault." He exhaled loudly.

She twisted her lips. 'Of course it was your fault. Aap hi the jo mere upar car utha diye the'

They were quite for some minutes. When she said.

"Waise party pe to aap jake busy ho jayoge friends ke sath. Main to kisi ko jaanti nehi. Main kya karungi phir?"

"To tumhe aisa kyun lagta hain ki main tumhe chod ke kahi bhi jaen wala hu. I will stick to you in the party. Never gonna let you feel alone." He assured. But something in his words made her heart pinch. She was always left alone in her life. She knows he meant this for the party but she felt good hearing someone is gonna stick to her.

"Okay." She managed to say this much.

They got in the party after 20 minutes. Sidharth got out from the car and came to her side to open her door. She got out.

"Shall we?" he forwarded his hand for her. She again gave him a smile letting her hands entangled with his. They entered the party hand in hand. He straight went to the stage to meet his friend along with Sana by his side.

"Hey Kunal. Congrats buddy." Sidharth hugged him the moment he got there. Kunal also gave him a squeeze showing his happiness seeing him.

"Sid, bro. Mujhe to ek bar ke liye laga kit u ayega hi nehi." They parted and he took a step back to be with Sana.

"Pagal hain? aise kaise teri engagement miss karu main!!" he replied. He again went forward to meet Kunal's fiancé.

"Hey Angie. Finally, you have tamed my friend. Congratulations." She came forward and hugged him.

"Yeah, he seems to forget everything now." Angie said.

"Of course Baby. I can't see anyone expect you." Kunal said and kissed her hand. Sidharth laughed and looked back to Shehnaaz who was watching them with a smile. He went to her when kunal said.

"Hi, Shehnaaz right?" he took her hand in his.

"Yeah. Congratulations to both of you" she said.

Sidharth wasn't okay with him holding her hand despite knowing that Kunal is harmless and he is getting engaged today.

So he took her hand from Kunal's hold into his and said

"Yes, she is Shehnaaz. My wife." The last part he said taking pause, making Sana surprised. The first time he called her his wife. That brought some unfamiliar feelings in her. She got overwhelmed every time she finds him claiming her as his family. Her family deprived past does this to her.

"Aur Meri bhabi." He said smiling at her. Sidharth also smiled at this.

They talked for a while, laughed. Kunal shared some funny things about their college life and how Sidharth was a good boy at his study. He even called him Chupa rustam winking at him not sharing the detail But Shehnaaz picked it and decided to ask him after.

"Bhabi aap yaha raho Angie ke sath. Hum dono thora sa" he said and gestured his hand as he wants to take Sidharth for a drink. She smiled saying

"Sure."

Sidharth take her hand and asked

"Will you be alright?" he asked bending his head a little.

"Yeah. Go" she squeezed his hand. He bent over to her ear and whispered

"I will be here. My eyes will be on you. Don't worry baby." He said letting her go in a quick frenzy. But she got back soon. She nodded her head. He left.
