CHAPTER 51: PAST

Sidharth knocked on the washroom door. She just got in there. So she was dressed. She opened it.

"Can you give me the shampoo?" he asked as he is going to use his Mom's washroom. Shehnaaz is using theirs.

"Haan. Wait." She got in and backed with his shampoo.

"Thanks." He gave a smile and went away.

This was so different than the usual Sidharth. He doesn't really like to use washroom other than his own but today he gave it to her.

He went in and turned on the hot shower. He stepped into it.

The moment he got into the shower the event from last night came to his mind. How he was scared to lose her. How he stopped her. He said it all to stop her. He had no regret about it. He can do more to stop her again. But what about the wall he created to save himself from getting hurt. What if he gets hurt again? Maybe this time it can gets worse. He always had trust issue in this matter. As it was broke terribly before. But yesterday, when Shehnaaz was leaving. He just couldn't even buy that she was leaving. So he said it all. But was that correct? Did he say it all?

He moved his fingers through his hair. Trying to calm his mind that was having a storm between his mind and heart.

When he said he thought he can't keep her happy that's why he did all that. He thanked god that she didn't ask why he thought so. Otherwise it could be difficult for him.

Despite he never wanted it but his mind went to that phase when he was shattered in life.

It was when Sidharth was in love with Riya. One morning he saw some text on her phone only when he got to know about her cheating on him.

He loved her. He never thought a future with anyone other than her. The way she used to treat him like he means a lot to her also the way she behaved with his mom impressed him totally. He thought to propose her at right time. Till he saw all those massages popping up on her phone and he got to read all that from the notification.

"Why you did that?" a broken Sidharth asked Riya when she was standing in front of him watching all the text massages Sidharth saw on her phone.

"Sidharth, baby. It's nothing. He doesn't mean anything to me. You do." She tried to touch his arm but he moved back.

"It doesn't matter who matters to you. Why is there even an option?" he said it a little loud.

"Sidharth, please. He is my ex. He doesn't mean anything to me." She tried to pacify him by cracking her voice. But he wasn't a fool.

"Just tell me one thing. Did you sleep with him after our relationship?" he asked with his heart breaking every moment.

"Sidharth. listen to me baby. Please." She again came closer when Sidharth showed her his palm to stop her there.

"Just answer me." he again asked. He already knew it. As it was written on the massage. That's why Riya couldn't lie that she didn't. She knew he already read that on her phone, but he wants to hear from her. She knew he loved her. So she started crying as she can't deny that. Thinking maybe it can help her in this situation. She did sleep with her ex, after she got with Sidharth.

But her crying couldn't get to his heart this time.

"Just answer me Riya. Did you sleep with him after we got together?" he screamed which scared her a little and she Nodded her head. She hadn't any choice of lying. He already knew it.

So she nodded breaking his heart completely. He fumbled in his step on backward.

"Sidharth, please let me explain." She pleaded.

"Save it. I don't wanna hear anything. It's over between us." He said and stormed out of the room.

The moment he got in his car, he broke down. He cried. He cried for giving himself a hope of a happy future with her. Because he gave his mother a hope of having a daughter in law. After years of denials for marriage, he brought Riya to meet his Mom that gave her hopes for his son.

"Why I wasn't enough?" is what Sidharth screamed in the car.

He cried in his hand. For making wrong choice. For falling in love with a person like Riya who cheats on him after he loved her with all his love. He cried.

He got home. And cried like a baby in his mother's arm. She also cried her heart out in her son's misery. Both mother and son duo learnt not to trust someone so easy that day.

After that day he never once met her. Never picked any call from her. Never once spare any chance for her to contact him.

Till he got a text from Riya that shook him throughout. It said

'Sidharth, I'm pregnant' 

WAS  THAT A SHOCK FOR YOU GUYS? SIDHARTH'S PAST LIFE WILL BE REVEALED SLOWLY ALONG WITH THE BEGINING OF SIDNAAZ'S CLOSENESS.
