CHAPTER 65: WAS IT WORTH??

Sidharth opened his eyes and found Shehnaaz was still on his hold.. Their legs were also entangled together.. That must have happened in their sleep. Her face was on the crook of his neck. She looked so innocent,, so pure!!! In his life he saw girls trying everything to woo him.. Dressing, make up and all. But what attracted him was this baby who rarely use anything. She was already so much beautiful that she didn't need to put layers on her face.. So simple,, so natural.. This simple girl is ruling over his heart by doing no attempt to rule it.. It was hers from the day it saw her.. He smiled looking at her.. With her, morning can also start this beautiful.. He moved his head to look at the clock on the side wall.. It was just 6:30.. He heard a hummed.. It was her.. She just got disturb with his moving.. He bit his tongue and got back there as he was.. Her scrunched brows were normal again.. He chuckled seeing this baby sleeping again..

He saw some loose strand of her hair coming near her eyes, so he just moved one of his hand carefully and removed them.. This is his life now.. The women lying in his arms is his Wife.. He doesn't feel lonely anymore.. She is and will be with him.. To make his life beautiful..

He thought looking at her.. Was it worth to live a life with fear?? Fear of getting hurt!!! Was it worth every time he held himself back from her??? Was it really necessary trying to make her hate him by doing all the shitty things he did to her?? Those things disgust him.. Was it worth to live a life without letting anyone in??

NO... It wasn't.. We shouldn't hold ourselves back in fear of getting something wrong.. It's not always coal what we find while digging, sometimes we get Diamonds too... Like Shehnaaz!!! Despite how much he tried to get her away, She found a way to claim his heart.. Despite how big the wall he created for anyone to enter on his heart, She had the hammer of her heart to break it in one go..

He kissed her head.. He need to get freshen up and work out.. The thing he does every morning while she sleeps.. But today his heart didn't want to leave her and go.. But he needs to.. He kissed again on her head and moved carefully.. Though this baby is a sleepyhead and won't get up this easily but even he didn't want to disturb her. So he moved carefully out of her hold.. Went to the washroom and then to the gym he had on another room...

Shehnaaz woke up an hour later.. She was alone in the bed.. She found herself in his duvet.. She smiled remembering last night.. She really had a good sleep.. She got up and straight went to the washroom.. After some times she went to the living room.. She heard him on her way.

"Haan Ma.. Soh rahi hai woh.. Aapne breakfast kiya?" she heard his voice.. She saw him sitting on the couch spreading his one arm wide resting on the couch's back and holding the phone in front of him by one hand.. So it was a video call.. His T-shirt is fully soaked in sweat..

"Did you enjoy?" he asked on the phone and she walked to him and sat beside him closer than usual.. He looked and gave her a smile..

"Hi,, Ma.. kaisi ho aap?" she said happily.. Rita ji had a grin on her lips watching Sidharth and Shehnaaz together sitting so close and happy.. She saw them sitting like that for the first time..

"Haan acchi hoon beta. Tu kaisi hain meri pyaari bacchi?" Rita ji almost cooed in the phone watching Shehnaaz.. Sidharth smiled at his Mom. How she always talk to her like baby.. And then he saw her pouting her lips at the phone.

"Acchi hoon, par,, I'm missing you" she made a pouty crying face. He was amused watching these two talking like that.. If it was not enough he heard his Mom saying next.

"Olle mera baccha.. I missed you too." making a cute face too.. He couldn't hold it anymore and chuckled loud. Shehnaaz looked at him.

"Kya?" She asked, he laughed

"You too!!! Look how you guys are behaving.. Two babies!!!" he laughed looking at her. Placing his hand a little on her shoulder. Shehnaaz just looked at him normally like it wasn't new. Rita ji just watched bewildered at her son.. He is smiling, laughing.. And then them sitting like that.. He put his hand on her and she was okay. She never saw them like that. She felt a soulful peace covering her.

"Are you jealous?" she asked twisting her lips at one side still looking at him..

"Not anymore" he replied and they both smiled together.. Rita ji on the phone was feeling chill on her heart.. The scene in front of her eyes was soothing her worried heart.. She always wanted her son to be happy.. She always wanted him to have family.. There he was.. Happy. She can say it watching him.. She is his mother.. She can read him throughout. Why wouldn't she? She is the one who gave birth to him and raised him..

"Ma,, Aap batao.. Enjoy kiya?" she asked to a smiling Rita ji who was quietly watching them.

"Yeah.. I enjoyed a lot beta." She said..

"When are you returning?" he asked. Rita ji stopped for a while.. Then she said.

"Actually beta. I wanted to have some more time here. So I thought to stay back." She said making Sidharth and Shehnaaz shocked. When she saw them shocked she said

"Hamesha ghar ke kaamo me busy reheti hoon to socha Apne friends ke sath kuch time bitalu.. I wanted to have some ME time" making them both shut their mouth after that.. Of course they won't say anything more when that was the reason.. they both know how much struggle she had raising 3 child all alone. If she wants that then she should have this.

"No problem, mom.. You enjoy yourself. Just give me a call every now and then.." he said with a serious tone.

"Haan Ma.. Aap maaje karo" she said with the same tone.

"Yeah,, We will be okay,, Don't worry about us.. And please take your medicines on time.. Don't forget that. And Mom please send me all the test you had this morning." He asked.. Rita ji smacked her forehead a little and that he grinned even being serious.. That is Shehnaaz's thing to do.. She is turning his mother also like her.

"Okay Dr. Sidharth. I will send. Now I will hang up." She said. They both bid goodbye to her. And they hang up.

Shehnaaz looked at him with a pout.. He knows why.. It was hard for him too.. He has always been a Mumma's boy.. He misses her too... He pulled her close and kissed on her forehead saying

"It's Okay. She should enjoy!!" he gave a tight lip smile and she nodded and rested her head on his shoulder..

Rita ji hanged up the phone with a broad smile on her lips.. She got what she always wanted.. Her son happy with his partner.. She won't have to worry for him anymore.. She thought maybe her being away was giving them alone time they always needed.. Maybe this Space was getting them closer.. As they haven't anyone else to talk to. So she just thought to give them some more time.. That's why she said something she knew they will never refused hearing after. She made her mind to enjoy as his son won't be alone and unhappy anymore.. She doesn't have to worry now..

With a smile she called her friend.

"Hello Sweeta.. You guys are still here???

Great!! You asked me to join the trip all our friend are going who came to the wedding!!!

Yeah, I said No. But I think I can catch you up guys Now!!!

Yeah yeah.. Just pick me up..

Okay.. See you!!"
