CHAPTER 67: WORLD

Shehnaaz was still on his lap hiding her face on the crook of his neck as she couldn't get over his remarks.. He was also holding her so lovingly.. He gripped her tight between his arms.. 'Meri Biwi' had left some crazy effect on her..

But suddenly something just stirred her, she remember something that made her loosened her hold around his neck and she pulled back with a start... He looked at her confused.. Why would she pull apart like that!!!

"What's wrong?" he asked Shehnaaz who was looking at him like she was searching something in his eyes.. He was confused to see that look on her who was just tomato red some seconds ago.. He knows this face.. She used to look at him like this when they weren't sure about their relationship and future.. He could sense something bad by her look..

"You haven't told anyone about me right?" Her eyes weren't normal. It had many questions behind them. He can see that all... She wasn't angry, she wasn't sad. She also knows the situation they were on.. But she needs to be sure now... Never if not Now..

He looked at her shocked. She was asking something that can build some doubt up in her mind... And that won't be healthy for their relationship which is just started blooming... Sidharth being a logical man knows everything and he won't let anything come in between him and Shehnaaz.. Not even an ounce of doubt... He would die before letting her doubt on him.. He knows how that feels... And he won't let Shehnaaz feel that..

"I didn't talk about you but I have never hid it... My family, friends and relatives, everyone matters to me knows about you.. You know that..." he said explaining despite not knowing the reason she asked this suddenly... He doesn't need to know it first... All that matters to him that Shehnaaz doesn't get anything negative in her mind even for a second.. The rest can wait, he can ask her after clearing her mind... He is all ready to give her everything she wants... Being a lot older to her helps him handling all these.. He knows how she might feel for what...

"Yeah, I know!!" she looked on the other side not at him... What he said was true... Since the day of their marriage he did everything he should do as a husband... She was so loved and welcomed by his family.. His mother, his sisters, everyone..

He was observing her. She wasn't angry at him... If she was, she wouldn't stay on his lap... But she wasn't okay too... Something was bothering her... Sidharth couldn't take his chirpy bird's silence anymore and restlessly asked.

"Baby,,, Please tell me what's going on your mind??" demanding her attention by pulling her by her waist.... She looked at him... Not with that hard look but still not normal.. She decided not to hold it... They are starting their relationship and that should not have any glitch in it... They both were very mature handling this situation..

Exhaling a breath louder she said

"When I was at the reception, Mujhse pucha gaya kahaan ja rahi hu... So I told your name..." she stopped..

"Hmm hmmn!!" he hummed asking her to continue further.

"They asked if I know you or if I had an appointment... I know you are a doctor.. A very famous and Busy one.. Aap se milne ke liye appointment chahiye hota hain,, But she asked first If I knew you... I couldn't answer anything." She looked down... His heart pinched... His wife, couldn't say that she is his wife... What can be more shameful for him!!! For a husband!!! He got exactly why she couldn't say it... How can she introduce herself as his wife when he hasn't declared it!!!

He lifted her face by her chin... She again looked at him... She was quiet... He couldn't tolerate this... He wasn't someone who would let his wife feel like that... Her self-respect must have got hurt... He cupped her face and said
