CHAPTER 97: RESTLESS MIND

Sidharth was pacing back and forth in his hospitals office... Though he had informed that he won't be here in the hospital today and told Dr. Raghav to take in charge today on his place, he couldn't go anywhere else then his office... This is his place where he finds homeliness other than his home... He wasn't even wearing his formal outfit today... He didn't change it... He was in a T-shirt and jeans which was quite surprising for the hospital stuff... He was pacing all over very fast... He was visibly angry... Maybe he was thinking something... Maybe related to taking decision... His face was red... In anger... He picked his phone and dialed a number... And the phone was received at the second ring...

"Oh my God!!! I can't believe this... Am I dreaming Sidharth?? Please tell me I'm not" A sweet soft voice came from the other side but it wasn't unknown to him how venomous this voice also can get... So it was just a stupid act to play with him... It was Riya who was capable of faking sweetness to the extent level and convincing people that she is exactly like how she plays... Sweet and innocent...

"Save all your acting for your shooting and cut the crap..." before he could say anything she said with a disturbingly cute tone and failed miserably...

"How rude!! Don't you remember all the time we spend loving each other?? Calling each other sweetly.. Remember when you used to call me Darling!!" Even after all the thing she did with him, she still had the audacity to talk about their past... Where she poisoned his heart with her lies and betrayals... Her act of playing cute and innocent was a known thing to him so it didn't leave any effect on him...

"Yeah, of course I remember.. That's why I'm talking to you the way you deserve... I need to talk you..." he said bitterly... He couldn't stand any moments hearing her voice again..

"Sure!!!" she said over excitedly... "Come to my place!! Tonight??" She asked and Sidharth shut his eyes painfully tight as he was having hard time to tolerate this women... How the hell she gets this in her to call him to her place at night... But he needs to talk to her and told her to stay the fuck away from their life...

"No,, Come to my hospital.." He said... Even though he is so strong but he fears her vicious plays... He couldn't let him go and fall on another trap of hers... The far she is away from them, the safest they will be... So there's no way Sidharth would go to her place... Who knows what might cook in her obnoxious mind....

"Sure... I will be there in two hour... I'm on the shoot... Otherwise I would have come right away baby!! I will be leaving now.. Canceling all the shoots for you!!" she blurted all that in one go like she is so excited to finally meeting Sidharth...

Sidharth cut the call and sat on the chair... Her calling him baby irked him to the extent of irritation... Shehnaaz calls him that... So he sat and shut his eyes... Mentally preparing himself how he would tolerate this women and talk to her... But he have to... This is important... She has gone to Shehnaaz's Ngo... Who knows what she might do next... He can't take any risk with Shehnaaz... He will die if something happens to her...

Shehnaaz was lying on Rita ji's lap... She was crying all the time while Rita ji was running her hand to her hair to calm her down... She has told her everything that happened between her and Sidharth... Every detail that wasn't even spoken between her and Sidharth, about Riya... His mom also cried for some moment fearing to lose her son's happiness...

Mom also told her about how Riya had come and apologized to them crying her crocodile's tears... And how she managed to break the strongest of the man she had known... Her son... The same son who stood strong for his family at a very young age after his father's demise, lost his all hope from life and from love after that... She told her how much Sidharth wanted that baby even knowing Riya cheated on him... He loved the baby, his flesh and own blood... He was shattered after knowing that the baby wasn't even his...

A fresh set of tears flowed... Listening all that... Shehnaaz was a crying mess... Why he had to suffer all these... He is so precious, So good of a human... Why he had to face that... Why he was so deprived of love... She wished she could meet him earlier...

"Ma,, Mujhe jana hai... Sidharth ke pass" For an unknown reason she didn't want to leave him alone... She herself wasn't feeling okay without him... Maybe because of her guilt... She was worried for him too...

"Nehi baccha... You aren't well... Take rest, he will come..." Rita ma patted her head again... She sat on the bed and said...

"I'm feeling completely fine Ma.. Mujhe yaha aise rehene me jayada taklif ho rahi hai... I want to go to him Ma" she said with tears in her eyes which seemed following from forever...

Rita ji couldn't deny any more... She can see her love and concern for her son... It's not easy to leave someone you love when you know they aren't okay... And especially when you just got to know about his past that haunted him for years... She can sense the restlessness in her eyes...

In no time Shehnaaz left for the hospital... She knew he would be there only... What she will tell him she doesn't know... There wasn't anything particular to tell him but she just wanted to be with him... To make sure he is okay... To make sure he feels she is there for him... However she could she would do it...

Her cab stopped at the entrance of the hospital... She got down...

"Come in" Sidharth shouted when he heard a knock in the door... It opened... And she walked in...

She walked till his table and sat on the chair opposite to him placing her bag on the table... Then she said with the same sweet tone of hers...

"Long time!!! Finally, tumne mujhe bula hi liya!!!Did you miss me??"
