CHAPTER 72: ANOTHER RIDE

"Can I get a ride???" She asked making a puppy face with her pouty lips...

Sidharth smiled kissing on that pout lightly... Of course she can!!! How and why he would say no!!! So he did what she has asked... Just like a good husband!!!

He remembered the day he picked her up in his arms and carried her to their home... She was so shocked, and kept telling him to put her down... But today she wanted him to carry her... How time changes,, and it was changing good for him... For them...

He picked her up and started walking after locking the car... Shehnaaz kept looking at him... He, on his way... But he also kept looking at her time to time... He had a smile leapt over his lips... She was grinning ear to ear...

"Last time I remember!!! You were asking me to put you down again and again... What happened to that Baby??" he asked looking down at her standing and waiting outside the elevator... He rolled his tongue inside his cheek... The thing he does all the time when flirting...

"Haan!! It was me!!! But I realized why I should get shy when I'm on my Husbands arm??" she said making her hands tighter on his neck and his heart flattered... But he was quick to response...

"Husband never sounded this good ever!!!" he said bended his head and captured her lips when the elevator dinged he stood straight... Thankfully nobody saw them kissing...

The door of the elevator opened and they saw two middle aged woman starring at them with their open mouth...

'Aaj kal ke bacche!!!' Sidharth and Shehnaaz heard the two aunties mumbling... That made the ever serious Sidharth stopped smiling and made a poker face... Shehnaaz tried hard not to laugh... When the ladies were out of the elevator and were passing them Shehnaaz screamed...

"Ahhh,, It's paining in my leg so much... Take me home quickly Husband..."

Sidharth looked at her surprisingly...

'What?? She got hurt in her leg!!! When?? When she came and sat on my lap?? Did she get hurt by the Car's door? Oh shit,,, That's why she asked me to pick her up... Oh shitt!!!' he cussed inwardly and was about to ask her, how she get it... But Shehnaaz stopped him...

"Aahh Sidharth.. Dard kar raha hain... Jaldi.." she screamed eyeing the ladies and then Sidharth...

Sidharth didn't waste any time and got in the elevator... He thought to examine her leg as soon as they get in their apartment... He is a doctor so he has some necessary equipment in home...

"Shehnaaz,, How did you get hurt??? Why didn't you tell me?? Is that why you told me to pick you up??" he asked all that in one go!!! But Shehnaaz burst out in laugh... The whole elevator rang in her loud laugh... Sidharth was confused as hell watching her...

"Sidharth,, Aap pagal ho?? Aapko samajh nehi aaya?" she asked him still laughing loud..

"What??" he was beyond confuse now... All he cared about her leg that is hurt.. And she saw that concern on his eyes... So she held her laugh a little and said

"My legs are fine... Maine jhoot bola kyun ki un aunti o ko batana tha that you are my husband and You are picking me up because of my pain... So that wohh log batein na banaye... You know,, gossips and all" she explained...

But that didn't go well with Sidharth... He was disappointed... He got worried about her... He just looked up so see which floor they were in... He looked pissed... Shehnaaz could sense some changes...

"Kya hua?" she asked... He didn't look down... She cupped his cheeks by her hand and pulled it down to her... She again asked

"Kya hua" this time softly with so much love in her voice...

"Do you have an idea how I felt when you said that?? I got so worried Shehnaaz!!! I thought you got hurt in the car... How could you say all these like that??" he said with the very serious face... Shehnaaz understood... Her face changed suddenly... She looked down, left his face and again locked behind his neck...

Sidharth exhaled loudly when he saw her sullen face... He couldn't even watch her sad like that... She was laughing madly few seconds ago.. He felt guilty doing that...

"Listen baby!!! Don't ever do that again... I can't hear anything related to your health and well-being as a joke... Do you understand??" he said with a serious tone that was so foreign for Shehnaaz... She was feeling happy as he cared so much about her... Also was a little intimidated as he was a little stern by the end of it...

"Haan" is that she could utter... She doesn't want their mood to be this sullen... They were in a different mood... It was wild between them some minutes ago...

The elevator's door dinged open and he got to their apartment like that...

Sidharth tried to put her down on the bed but she whined and hold him tighter...

"Maine nehi utarna!!!" she whined and tightened her grip behind his neck refusing to get down... He looked at her confused...

"Kyun?"

"Kyun ki aisi shakal banake rakkha hai aapne... Kitna accha tha sab kuch... Smile bhi nehi karr rahe... Uske baad bhi.!!!" she said like a baby and it brought back the smile his face lost... Uske baad bhi!!! Did she mention what happened in the car... This girl is beyond the limit of adorable.. She can even make him happy when he is pissed...

He pulled her closer in his arms and hugged her... She held him tighter... They both smiled the smile of contentment...

"You are the smile of my life... My precious!!!"
