"That car was on speed limit. And there was no zebra crossing as well so its not the driver's fault." He stated the fact looking at her eyes.
"Haayyee, toh Aap yeh bolna chahte ho ki ye sari uss chotese pyaare se baby ka hain?" she asked getting up from her comfort position.
"apparently, Yes. But he is a minor so the basic fault was his mother's. She should have hold him carefully at the first place."
"toh Aapke hisab se uss Gandhe driver ki koyi dos nehi hain? Jiske bahjhe se main yaha hu. Thank god wo baccha safe hain. Nehi to kyaa hota?"
Sidharth thought for a minute how to react, she is now calling him Gandha. Yet again asking him for an answer.
"Woh driver Apni speed limit ke andar drive kar raha tha. Sahi Road pe chal raha tha. Traffic rule vi break nehi kiye. To kya tum Usse galat bol sakte ho?" Sidharth now asked in a serious tone defending himself.
"Toh kya meri galti hain ki main yaha pe hoon?" she blinked rapidly asking this.
"Have I said that? Of course you are not at the fault. In fact you have became the worse victim here." He said politely. He doesn't really talk to people this much. But here he was having a good conversation with her. Was it because he was somehow feeling a little guilt because of her condition Or he just doesn't want to leave from here.
"I'm the worse victim? Toh or koyi vi victim hain kya yaha pe?" she asked.
"Unfortunately, Yes."
"Hayye Rabba. Kon hain? Or woh to thik hain?" again she was concern about someone more that herself.
"woh thik hain. Aur woh victim vi main hu." Sidharth said with a slight guilt because of her condition.
"Aap ?" she was confused. He nodded his head.
"Aap waha kya kar rahe the?" she asked with great curiosity.
"I was driving the Car." He said in one go.
"Toh Aap the woh gandhe driver. Jiske bahjese meri ye halat hain?" she said with rage.
"EXCUSE ME! Yeh gandhe driver ne hi tum he bachaya hain right time pe break marke, tumhe hospital me leke aaye hain. Tumhari treatment ki hain or tumhari sari bill bhi pay ki hain." He stood up in retaliation.
"Aur Aap hi woh hain jiske bahjese ye nobaat vi aayi hain. And how cheap was that!!! You paid my bills because you are the one who knocked me." This time she also get up from the hospital bed with some pain but that time she was in rage. She places her hands on her hip and stare in his eyes with angry eyes.
Her petite perfect shaped body feels so tiny before his large body.
Sidharth for some seconds looked angry in her eyes but her bare shoulder, angry eye sparkle and her being so close to himself wasn't helping him that much. His eye's were struggling to keep them on hers. He wanted to stare at her fully. But instead of that his little guilt for saying that Bill part spoke
"I'm sorry for saying that Bill part. I didn't mean that."
"But you said that."
"Yeah, that's why I said Sorry."
"choriye ji, har insann ka dil to baada nehi ho sakta na!" she smile sarcastically. Moved from her place to grab her bag which was on the bed. She wanted to leave as soon as possible.
But now Sidharth was feeling very guilty. She was hurt because of him somehow and he said those thing about Bill. She took her bag. Pulled her sleeve to its right place even though that was hurting her. Sidharth couldn't stay like that anymore. He went near her to stop.
"Please, don't leave you have a test pending." He came almost near her face.
"Its ok Doctor. Main woh baad mein kara lungi or aapke paise vi vej dungi ya de jayungi. Don't worry." Shehnaaz said with seriousness but her eyes were showing her self respect got hurt. She was about to move to leave when Sidharth hold her hand which made her stop and she looked into his eyes.
"Shehnaaz," he took a pause. "I didn't mean that. I don't usually say sorry to anyone but I'm saying it to you. Please I need to check on you. PLEASE STAY"
"Woh kya hain na Doctor sahib. Hum khuddar hain, kisika ehesaan nehi lete. Or khas kar ke uss insaan ka jinko jaatane ki aadat hain." She held his hand which was holding hers. She freed her hand with a jerk, smiled at him and left the Room.
Sidharth didn't move this time. He wasn't the one who goes behind people to pacify them. He doesn't talk much. He doesn't say sorry often. He is very strong and sometimes emotionless.
He is soft only in front of his Mom. But this time without having any fault he was feeling guilty. He wasn't the reason behind the accident so wasn't she. But she is the one who got hurt and he told something which he shouldn't have said. He was really feeling sorry.
Shehnaaz left the hospital immediately feeling angry and humiliated. She was upset the whole day and stayed at home. She was blaming him for obvious reasons. FIRST she got hurt because of him. Even though he was driving perfectly but he could have been more careful. What if the boy was hurt. What could have happened to him if she didn't reach on time. And SECOND he shouldn't have said the Bill part as she got hurt by his car. If something would happened to her in the accident, he was the one who had to be behind the bars. And also he could say to pay the Bill nicely. She was fuming.
"Kitna chota dil hain iss baade se body mein. Ghamandi Admi.
Kaise mujhe paiso ki baat suna diya. Jab ki meri ye halat hi unki bajhese hain. Mujhe to unko paise dene hi nehi chahiye. Par nehi, jisne ye bola uske to muh pe marungi." She took a pause "Nehi nehi, unka Gandha sa shakal hi nehi dekhni mujhe. Wese unki shakal surat acchi hain, body to Masha Allah suru honepe khatam hone ka naam hi nehi leta. Itni lamba. Aur unki anakhe!!!! Shut up Sana, kya soch rahi hain. Gandhe admi jitna bhi handsome ho, huh mujhe kya.
She changed her cloth into some sleeveless dress. Still she was in pain on her body. The reason she didn't feel any pain is anesthesia. Now that stopped working and she felt pain. She needed help. But it was already night time. Somehow she managed to grab her bag for her phone. She found some paper from hospital. she got a number of hospital she thought to call on that number. She dialed it. Someone received it.
"Yes, Ashok hospital. How can I help you?"
"Ji woh main Shehnaaz Gill. Main aaj apke hospital mein thi, but aab mujhe ek medical emergency ho gayi. I need help."
"Ji mam. I'm checking your data, give me a minute."
"Okay" Shehnaaz said hissing in pain.
"Mam as per record you haven't discharged yet. How are you not in the hospital."
"Woh actually maine discharge liya hi nehi."
"This is illegal mam. As per our hospital rule we are not responsible for your health from so on."
"Accha, thik hain." She said sadly.
"1 second, are you the accident patient whom Dr. Sidharth brought today?"
"Yes," she replied confused.
"Oh, Okay. We have a strict command to let Dr. Sidharth know if any news comes from you."
"Really?" she thought why he did that.
"Yes, mam. Can I have your address to register in your data."
"Yes. 42 xyz road, Malaad."
"Okay, mam. We are finding your help. We will get back to you. Thank you."
Shehnaaz kept the phone beside her. She was hissing in pain. Her waist, thigh, leg was paining a lot. Now she understood that car hit her on her thigh. She was waiting for the call from hospital.
But then her Door bellrang.
