Daniel's POV:

Jack, Gabbie, and I were put in the group to get supplies so after we split up from the group we decided to go to a drug store.

"Why don't we just go to the gas station?" Jack asked as we made our way down the street out of sight.

"Because gas stations really only carries food. We need more then that. Food, clothes, and toiletries." Gabbie explained to her boyfriend.

"Okay there's the store, what's the plan." Jack said pointing to the store across the street.

"Well, Daniel goes in, invisible, since he will probably get recognized if he goes in visible." Gabbie says to me.

"I don't know if I can do it." I say nervously.

"Okay then one of us will scare you so you accidentally turn invisible." Jack said to me sarcastically.

"Hahaha. Very funny." I say getting nervous.

"Look, Daniel do you think you can turn me invisible with you? Then I can go in with you and help." Gabbie asks.

I don't know if I can, it was hard enough for me to keep myself under control.

"I can try, give me your hand." I say reaching for Gabbie's hand. She grabs it and I focus really hard on turning invisible.

I open my eyes after I finished and notice that Gabbie and I's bodies are gone.

"Guy? You still there?" Jack asks looking around.

"We are right here babe." Gabbie says tapping Jacks shoulder.

"Okay great now go. I'll come in if you get into trouble." Jack says, which will probably happen since I can't stay like this for long.

"Okay we will be back soon, love you." Gabbie says as I pull the both of us away and head to the store.

Opening the door, no one noticed that it was opened by its self so that was good. There weren't many people in here so that was easier for us as well.

"Okay, let's go grab a few bags to stuff things in." Gabbie said. I nodded and walked to the section with bags. I grabbed six back packs while no one was looking.

"Take these," I said handing Gabbie three bags, while her hand was still holding on to mine, "they should turn invisible with us." I finish as the bag goes invisible.

"Okay, let's get food first. Just snacks since we won't be able to cook anything." Gabbie says as she pulls me to the food area.

Gabbie stuffs two of her bags with crackers, chips, fruit, waters, and anything else we spot that would be easy to eat.

She finishes with her two bags, zipping them up.

"Now clothes and toiletries." Gabbie says pulling me with her to the department. I'm pretty sure she was skipping, which made me chuckle a bit.

"Okay what type of clothes. It's almost summer right?" Gabbie asks me looking at all the options i front of us.

"I mean yeah, but fashion isn't going to matter if we are on the run, right?" I ask her as she picks up a crop top.

"Well if we get captured I want to look good, so then my mug shot looks amazing." she said stuffing the next two bags with some nice jeans.

"Okay, but make sure you grab some boy clothes too." I comment, as she puts swim suits into the bags.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you guys have boy clothes. Although Jack would totally rock a crop top." I hear her suggest, making me let out a laugh.

When we were almost done picking out clothes I felt my body starting losing its charge. I couldn't hold this any longer.

"Gabbie, I don't feel good. I can't hold this any longer." I say through my breaths.

"No, you have too. We're almost done." she tried to encourage me. I can't do it though. My body is weak after a long day and keep two people invisible is hard work.

"Gabbie I-" I cut myself off when I noticed that I could see our bodies.

"Shit. Okay hide." Gabbie said as she must had notice we were visible now. We both run to behind a huge pile of clothes and look to see if anyone saw us.

"There aren't many people here, so we could sneak around and get things." I say, looking at maybe two or three people in the store.

"That doesn't matter. The cashier will see us leaving the store and then report us." Gabbie explains.

"Call Jack. You still have your phone right?" I ask her. She nods and pulls her phone out clicking Jacks name.

"Hello? Gabbie what's wrong?" I heard Jacks voice through the phone.

"Daniel's too tried to keep both of us invisible. Help." Gabbie asks her boyfriend.

"Okay, I can't do much but I have an idea." Jack said hanging up the phone.

"Okay why don't you turn yourself invisible, get all the last things we need and then we will figure out how to get out of here after." Gabbie asked me. I nodded, thinking I could keep myself in invisible for a short amount of time.

"Be right back." I said grabbing the last three backpacks and turning myself invisible.

I head off to get the last of the clothes we need. After I go over to another department to get the toiletries. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are the main priorities so I grab many of those.

I feel my body start to shut down towards the end and quickly make my way over to where Gabbie was hiding, barely making it before I turn visible again.

"AH!" Gabbie screamed as I appeared next to her. She slaps her hand over her mouth.

"Sorry, where's Jack?" I ask. Gabbie points to Jack who was standing off the to side of the store entrance, still not being seen.

"What is he doing?" I ask Gabbie as I watch as his eyes glow the bright purple.

"I think he is making a distraction." Gabbie says.

On cue I see the cashier move away from the entrance and walk away to the back. I'm guessing Jack made him think someone was in back causing a problem.

"Come on." Gabbie said grabbing my hand while I was carrying three bags and she was carrying the other three.

We made our way through the front of the store without being seen and quickly exited running into Jack.

"Come on. I made him think there was a disruption in the back, it won't last long. He'll come out of the trance or whatever. Did you get everything?" he asks us.

"Yup, we will have to refill at one time but it's good for now." Gabbie said walking away from the store.

The couple made their way across the street and I trailed behind them, as each of us carried two bags. So six in total.

I tried keeping up with the pair but my body was getting really weak. My eye lids were getting heavy and my muscles were all hurting.

"Gabbie, Jack." I said before I felt my body collapse. I hit the ground and saw the pair running over to me calling out my name which just sounded like muffled voices to me.

"Daniel, come on wake up." was the last thing I heard before my mind blacked out.

anyway so i changed the cover again, i have issues i know
also i lowkey still have to create a plot for this book and I think there will be 50-ish chapters, around that area but it's not for sure, i might do more
