Corbyn's POV:

~night of the storm~

"Christina why do these burn?" I asked my girlfriend. She made me try on a face mask, which made my skin burn like fire.

"It's suppose to exfoliate your skin. I think your skin is just so bad it burns." Chris suggested.

"Aw yes. That makes me feel so much better." I chuckle, making Christina chuckle with me. "How long am I suppose to leave this on anyway?"

"About 10 minutes." Christina looked up at me. My eyes went wide realizing that it has been 20 minutes.

"I put this on like 20 minutes ago!" I scream.

"BEAN! Go take it off! That's probably why it's burning!" Chris yells.

I hurry off into the bathroom and scrub the face mask off. I see the mask left red marks on my face leaving me to look like a tomato.

"Well, don't you look handsome." Chris laughs at me, looking into my blue eyes.

"Thank you. You look very handsome too." I laugh back at her, pulling her in for a kiss. It was short and sweet, pulling way at the first touch.

The sound of the storm echoed above Chris's apartment we were in, making Chris jump at the loud noise.

"It's fine. Just a little bit of lighting." I reassure her. I pull her into a hug and we head back out into the main room.

"I hate lighting storms, but I do love rain. Is that weird?" Chris asks me.

"No, I get it. Oh! Let's be romantic and stand on the balcony in the rain!" I suggest. Chris laughs pulling my hand and dragging me out to the balcony.

"Is this romantic enough for you?" she says, inches away from my face, holding me close to her. The rain was soaking our hair and clothes and in Christina's case, her makeup.

"Oh definitely." I respond, grabbing her face and pulling her in for a much more passionate kiss. It last for a few seconds as our mouths moved together in harmony.

I pulled away and looked into her beautiful brown eyes. The warmth in her eyes were replaced by fear as the lighting and thunder came back.

"We should head back inside right? We could catch a cold out here." Chris says, making her way back into the apartment leaving me outside.

I was about to head in when I heard thunder directly above me. Looking up I saw a flash of light coming at me and hitting me square in the chest. My whole body surged with electricity making me scream out in pain.

The last thing I remember was Chris running down to my body, which was now on the floor, calling out my name. Breathing heavily I was trying to hold onto my consciousness, before darkness consumed me.

Her voice slowly left my ears, leaving me utterly alone.
