032; we will be okay

Daniel's POV:

"Let's get out of there as fast as possible." I say as we head into the store invisible and see there are quiet a lot of people here.

"Agreed." Gabbie says and leads the bag section to grab another backpack.

Jack grabs a bag and when he does it turns invisible with us. We head over to the water bottle section and start, carefully, putting bottles into the bags.

"I think that's a good amount right?" I say feeling the weight of the bag.

"Yup, let's get out of here." Gabbie says as we start to move out.

"WAIT! Look at these." Jack says as a pair of lavender glasses starts to float in mid air and then turns invisible with us.

"Are you like obsessed with that color or something?" I ask as I assume Jack puts them on.

"We are going to name our first daughter Lavender, it's been decided." Gabbie explains and I nod even though she probably can't see me.

"Great, now let's go." I say but as I try to move, Jack stays put and it yanks Gabbie and I back.

"What's wrong?" I whisper to him.

"Someone recognized the van outside, they're calling the police." Jack says with his voice turning nervous.

"What do we do?" Gabbie asked quickly.

"Well we can't go back out, they will see us and spot us." Jack says frantically.

"Let's go out the back door, in the back room." I say as I pull the couple along with me and we head over to the back room and exit through the door when no one is looking.

"What now?" Gabbie asked as I let go of both of their hands feeling my body getting tried. I haven't passed out in a while using my powers, but maybe it's catching up with me.

I lean against the back of the wall and slowly move to the ground.

"You good Daniel?" Jack asks looking down at me.

"Just tried, we need to figure out what to do though." I say. I'm trying to be confident but I can feel my anxiety kicking in, this is not going to go well.

"We can just wait here until the cops go away, but to be honest I have no idea what to do." Jack says taking a seat next to me, and then Gabbie sitting down next to Jack.

"I'm good with that." I say taking a deep breath.

"You sure your okay?" Jack looks over at me.

"Yeah, just In terrified right now." I say placing my hand over my heart and felt it beating really fast.

"Daniel, we will be okay. Everything will be okay in the end." Gabbie tries to reassure me. I nod and just go back to my thoughts.

While in my thoughts I start getting a headache. No, this can't happen right now.

"Daniel?" Gabbie asks looking over at me.

The couple get up and kneel back down in front of me but all there words are muffled as my vision goes white and a new scene plays in front of me.

"Jack! What's wrong with him!" Gabbie yelled as I look down at Jack on the floor covering his ears and screaming.

"I don't know! It has to be his hearing." I say as I start freaking out.

"Shit, Daniel look." Gabbie says pointing over at cop cars coming towards us, "What do we do?"

"Get Jack!" I say and we both grab him and pull him up trying to get him to run with us.

"Jack come on dude!" I say as he looks up at me and weakly nods. The three of us start down the street try to out run the cars, but we all knew we couldn't do that.

"Where do we go!?" Gabbie asked while trying to get Jack to keep up with us. He was still in pain but trying his best to avoid it.

"Turn here!" I say turning on to a different street a few blocks away from the store. I stuck behind a wall, while Gabbie and Jack follow my actions.

Jack let's out a quiet scream and pushes harder on his ears. He's trying really hard to keep himself quiet.

"Jack, hey, it's okay. Can you hear me?" Gabbie says pulling Jack into her chest as his screams go down a bit but he starts crying.

"Daniel, I don't know what to do." Gabbie whispered.

"I don't know either." I whisper back as I hear the cop cars pull up behind us.

"You are surrounded, hands up where we can see you." a cop says and the three of us make eye contact with the main cop, while six other ones have their guns pointed at us.

"Is it over yet?" I hear someone say as the scene fads away and the real world comes back into view.

"Look his eyes aren't red anymore." I hear Gabbie say.

"What was your vision?" Jack asks me. I look at him and remember what he was going though in the vision.

"Um... I-, Jack starts screaming and then the cops show up" I try to summarize shortly.

"Why do I start screaming?" Jack questions helping me up off of the ground.

"Something to do with your hearing I think." I say taking my best guess.

"Anything else important?" Gabbie asks.

"Not that I remember." I shake my head.

"So what do we do, wait for your vision to happen?" Gabbie asks looking between Jack and I.

"I don't know about you but I wonder rather not be screaming, so I'm hoping it doesn't come true." Jack stated leaning against the store wall.

"Babe, just use your hearing to alert us when the cars come and we can get out of here fast." Gabbie points out.

"Wait. That's why you were screaming." I say as I put two and two together.

"What do you mean?" Jack questions me.

"You can't hear if they are coming if you have a loud high pitched noise in your ears. They know you have that ability so they probably play a noise only you can hear, so they can take the opportunity to take us." I explained getting blank looks from both of them.

"I guess that makes sense." Jack shrugged.

"What if you like wear earmuffs. Would that stop the high pitched sound?" Gabbie asked. I sigh and look at Gabbie with a 'did you really just ask us that' face.

"Sorry for trying to be creative and help my boyfriend." Gabbie rolled her eyes.

"I appreciate it." Jack says pulling her into a hug.

I feel so single right about now.

"Anyway, let's just see if they are still in the van out front. We have to do something to make the vision change right?" I suggest and they nod. We start to make our way around the building but Jack stops.

"Damn it." I whisper as Jack hold his head and starts screaming.
