Tate's POV:
I walk into the room where Jonah was staying. I could feel the water pressure behind my eyes, trying not to cry. I need to be strong for Jonah. He got lucky, really lucky.
Christina follows behind me to go visit Corbyn. She immediately heads over to him and kisses him even though he is asleep. I walk over to the far end of the room to see a smiling Jonah.
"Hey!" he smiles at me. I let out a loud laugh and look at my boy. He is still smiling even after getting freaking electrocuted.
"Hey Jo. How are you feeling?" I ask. I sit down next to him and grab his hand, rubbing circles on top of it.
"I weirdly feel amazing. Not one ounce of pain in my body." he says to me. I can't help but smile and lean in for a kiss. He kissed me back and ran his hand through my hair.
"I love you." he whispers to me.
"I love you more. I was scared I was gonna lose you." I say silently, almost on the verge of crying all over again.
"Hey it's okay. I'm right here, not going anywhere any time soon. Promise." he held out his pinky.
"Promise." we pinky swear and I look over at Christina and Corbyn.
"How is he?" I ask her. She looks up at me crying.
"I don't know. I just need him to wake up." she whispers.
"Wait, so he also got hit by lighting?" Jonah asked me.
"Yeah. Five guys in total last night. There are actually two girls visiting a few of the other guys." I say to him. He looks shocked that that many people were injured with the same injury last night.
"Damn. Bet we're going to be bonded for life." Jonah jokes. I laugh and nudge him to scoot over. Moving over, Jonah pats the bed and I lay down next to him. Laying my head if his chest I can hear is heart beat. I'm not scared anymore.
Christina's POV:
It was warming to see Tate and Jonah reunite. I may have already met the two, but I could tell we were going to be great friends.
I watched as Corbyn laid still on his bed. All I want in the world right now is for my Bean to wake up. I kept playing with his hands, drawing shapes on his palm and stuff like that. Usually he would do it to me too, but this time I was the only one participating.
I was drawing a circle repeatedly on his palm when I swear I saw one of his fingers move.
"Tate. Jonah." I call out to the couple. I need to make sure I'm not imagining things.
"What is it?" Tate asked me. She got out of Jonahs grasp and headed her way over to me.
"I swear I just saw his hand move." I commented. We stared at Corbyns hand and watched it like a hawk. It got to the point where I was probably just imagining things, but before I turned away I saw his finger go up and back down.
"You saw that too right?!" I asked Tate. She nodded her head which made me feel ten times better.
"I'll go get the doctor. He's probably waking up." Tate commented. She gave me a warm smile and left the room.
I stood up over Corbyn and shook him, trying to make the process faster.
"Corbyn wake up." Nothing happened. I tried again.
"Please wake up." I shook him. All he needed was a push.
"Bean." I whispered. I grabbed his hand not excepting him to grip it back, but he did.
