003; bad driver

Zach POV:

~night of the storm~

"ZACH! SLOW DOWN!" Jack yelled from the seat next to me. I was currently practicing my driving late at night in a storm. Perfect time to do so.

I need someone who has their license in the car with while I drive, so I called Jack knowing no one else would not get into a car with me.

I've known Jack since I met him at school. He was a few years older then me, but he was one of my best friends.

"I'm not even going that fast!" I yell back at Jack. I look down at the speed dial seeing it hit 80. "80 isn't even going fast. Watch me hit 100!" I yell.

"Okay that's it! Zach, pull the car over!" Jack yells. I hesitate thinking if I should listen to the older boy. Finally I pull the car over and we end up on the side of freeway.

"God. Now I know why you failed your drivers test 3 times." Jack sighed. I looked over at him and roll my eyes, letting out a chuckle.

"I am not a bad driver. I have my test in a few days, so you won't have to worry about me needing you to be in the car." I say to Jack.

"Your 18 and just now getting your license. That's a sign that your a horrible driver." Jack mocked me, I glared at him. "Come on get out. I'm driving us home."

Jack got out from the passengers side and I got out of the drivers seat. Rain started soaking my clothes and hair, which I let out a whine.

"Oh boo hoo. The baby got his hair wet." Jack judged me. I raised my eyebrows at him as we passed each other in front of the car.

Before I could get into the passengers side I could hear thunder and lighting in the distance. There weren't much cars on the road because of the storm, leaving Jack and I out here all alone.

"We should probably get home before the storm gets worse." Jack suggested. I nodded but before I could open the door I heard thunder rumble above Jack and I. Next thing I know a flash of blue light is struck down above me hitting he directly in my side.

Falling down to the ground with a scream, I hit my head and everything goes black.
