Jonah's POV:

"What was that?" I ask Zach as we sat on ours beds.

"I did rock. See." he held up his hand and shows me in the rock formation but his pinky is sticking out.

"That is not rock Zach. Do you think that's what a rock looks like?" I raise my eyebrow at him while he looks embarrassed.

"What?" he says in a high pitched voice, "It doesn't matter, you did scissors. I won."

"Oh my god, he won for the first time ever!" I mock him and we frowns back at me, "I'm joking."

"I know." he says before turning on his bed and laying down.

It's been almost a week since Zach and I were taken, let me tell you it is not fun.

When we first arrived we were instantly taken to a room, like one of those questioning rooms in TV shows they have. The government wanted to know how we got these powers, etc.

During the whole questioning, Zach did most of the talking, surprisingly. I was to busy with trying not to break down because my wrist was broken and I couldn't heal it.

We soon found out the reason we couldn't use our powers was because the handcuffs they used on us were power blockers that they somehow made. When we got here they traded them out for these anklets around our legs instead that had the same power blockers.

My wrist is still broken since I never got the chance to heal it, so instead they gave me an arm brace to help the pain.

Anyway, the soon gave up on questioning us because I wasn't answering and Zach was too stupid to say the right answer, they just keep us here.

Like dogs. I know very efficient.

"You good Zach." I ask him and see him look over at me.

"They aren't going to come, it's been almost a week. They would be here by now." Zach mentions and I can see he is deep in his thoughts.

Ever since he found out Jack passed away, he's been depressed. I mean he was his best friend and I had to make sure Zach was comforted every second of the day for some time.

And I think the thought of not seeing Alexa is killing him as well. The one girl who can fix all his problems, is not here and won't come any time soon.

"They'll come. I promise they will." I say to him.

"You also promised Jack would be okay, look how that turned out." Zach glared before rolling over and having his back face me.

"Zach, that's not fair." I sigh and walk over to Zach's bed, sitting on the edge of it, "I have no control over that."

"It still happened." he angrily shot back at me, "I miss him. And her." Zach's mood changed to a sad one and it was time for me to step in.

"Come here." I say softly and Zach slowly hugs me and cries into my shoulder.

I would have for sure broken down by now but I always have to make sure Zach is okay first. He's younger and I feel responsible for him, I'm like his mom in some way.

Not even a second later the door to our room opened revealing him. His name was Thomas, he basically ran the facility we were at and occasionally took each of us into questioning, trying to get answers only to be unsuccessful.

"Get Zach." Thomas whispered to his guards that were standing behind him. They started moving towards us before Zach stood up.

"I can walk myself." he said quietly, wiping the tears out of his eyes and waving bye to me before the door closed leaving me in the room alone.
