053; where's the drinks

Alexa's POV:

Everybody was thriving at the bonfire. Even though it wasn't nothing much, kids were running around, people were drinking but obviously not alcohol, at least not yet.

The teachers, including Jade and I think a boy who was her boyfriend were entertaining the younger kids.

"Look there's Angelica." Sofia whispered to me as she stood next to me.

Angelica was sitting on the floor near Jade and gave us a huge wave, the two of us returning it.

"So, who's staying up after the bonfire?" Sofia asked as she sipped the soda she had in her hand.

"All the older kids. Having the little ones here wouldn't be convenient." I tell her and she nods.

"We got like 5 minutes until it's over. Should I tell Corbyn to go get the alcohol?" Sofia questions me and I give her a small nod as she runs over to where Corbyn was sitting.

5 minutes passed in a quick second, having all the teachers lead the kids to the cabins, leaving the older children to get themselves to bed.

We waited until we saw Jade walk into her cabin and all the lights went out. Perfect.

"Why do I have to have a blindfold?" Christina questioned as Corbyn held her in his arms and dragged her away for a little bit so we could set up.

"It's a game, just keep it on for 5 minutes." Corbyn said as he gave me and wink. It's time.

I directed everyone to do what they were suppose to do. Tate and Sofia went into the kitchen near the breakfast tables, grabbing snacks and desserts.

Jack and Gabbie had found party decorations earlier in a supplies shed, while Daniel sat nervously on a bench near the bonfire pit.

"You good?" I said as I sat down next to him. He looked over at me as his hands were slightly shaking.

"Yeah, just nervous since we are breaking the rules." Daniel said as I sighed.

"Don't focus on that, focus on the fact we are celebrating one of our friends birthday. It's like the light in all this dark." I tell him and he gives me a shy smile.

"When did you become all positive?" Daniel furrowed his eyebrows.

"I don't know, but I'm rolling with it." I laughed as Sofia came back over with Tate and ran into Daniels arms.

"You good babe? I noticed your hands shaking." I heard Sofia whisper to him and he gave her a small nod.

"Is everything set up?" I question the group.

"Yup, Jack and Gabbie are finishing the decorations." Tate pointed to the couple hanging up the last banner.

"Great, Sofia can you go get Corbyn?" I ask her and she speeds away, coming back a second later giving me a thumbs up.

We got one of the older kids who had laser eyes to light the bonfire again as Sofia carefully moved the alcohol Corbyn brought out earlier, far away from it.

"Corbyn don't make me fall." Christina complained as her and Corbyn emerged from the direction of where are cabin was.

"I'm not going to let you-" Corbyn spoke to soon.

Christina tripped over something on the ground and fell face flat on the ground, dragging Corbyn with her as she feel down.

"Corbyn Matthew Besson, what did I say?" Christina says angerly as Corbyn started laughing and stood up, helping Christina do the same.
