031; everything go to shit

Alexa's POV:

I woke up to someone screaming from the van. I forgot I fell asleep outside with Christina so I was confused by my surroundings, but I eventually remembered the night before.

Christina did help a lot. I couldn't stop thinking about Zach and what could happen to him, but just talking it out with someone who would listen is nice.

Anyway, I woke up to a scream right.

"WHERE ARE THEY!" I'm pretty sure Gabbie yelled.

"Who?" I heard Jacks voice asked.

"Alexa and Christina! There gone!" Gabbie panicked. I sighed and walked up to the back of the van and opened the doors.

"I'm right here, and Christina is over there." I said pointing over at the tree and the others look over to see a sleeping Christina.

"I'll go get her." Corbyn said hoping out of the van and running over to his girlfriend.

"Okay let's get going." Sofia said moving from her position next Daniel.

"Did they cuddle together?" I whisper to Gabbie who was standing next to me.

"Yup, I ship it." Gabbie laughs and stares at me, "You look more happy then usual."

"Christina and I talked last night, it helps a lot." I shrug and the seat where Daniel and Sofia were previously sitting.

Daniel took the front passengers seat, while Sofia was driving. Corbyn and Christina made it back into the back and we drove off down the road.

"Shit, guys." Jack said looking around the back of the van and through the bags.

"What?" Corbyn asked looking over at Jack curiously.

"We lost one of the bags. The one with all the water in it." Jack said dumping the bags out revealing no water to be seen.

"We kinda need water." Gabbie said picking up a few of the items.

"That's what I'm saying, we have to make a stop." Jack said looking up at Sofia who was rolling her eyes.

"Fine, who's going to go in." she asked pulling over at the nearest store.

"Daniel, and then two others." I said.

"I'll go." Gabbie raised her hand.

"Same." Jack said as the couple stood up. After Sofia parked the car the three of them got out of the car and left to go get some water.

"I feel like something bad is going to happen." Christina mentioned while standing up and walking around the back of the van.

"Why?" Sofia asked.

"Well, I don't know. I just feel like today is going to make everything go to shit." Christina said moving her hand through her hair.

"Hey, it's okay babe. Calm down." Corbyn said standing up and pulling Christina into a hug.

"Yeah, we will be at Prism Lake at least in two days. We are almost there and then we can figure out how to get Zach and Jonah." Sofia explained the plan out.

"Okay." Christina said while still in the hug with Corbyn.

Suddenly Corbyn let go of the hug, with his eyes bright green, and furrowed his eyebrows.

"What is it?" I asked him standing up.

"Someone recognizes the van." he said as his eyes went back to the blueish-green they usually are, "They are calling the police right now."

"Shit, we need to get the others." I say about to open the doors.

"We can't leave the van, then people will definitely see and we won't have a chance to get out of here." Sofia said grabbing my arm and pulling me back.

"So we just have to wait here?" Tate asked. I kinda forgot she was here, she's been really quiet lately.

"Yeah, they are invisible so they can make it out right?" Christina mentioned, questioning herself.

"I mean, I can go check. I have Super Speed remember." Sofia suggested, "I can go in and out without people seeing me."

"Yeah, do that." I say. Sofia nods and with a blink of an eye she runs out the door and a few seconds later she comes back.

"They aren't in the store, and I'm pretty sure I would have run into them if they were invisible." Sofia says with a worried expression on her face.

"I can fly up and see if I see them anywhere else?" Corbyn suggested.

"What if people see you?" Tate asked.

"The police are already on there way, I don't think it will matter. We just need to get them and get out." Corbyn said. He soon opened the sunroof that was on the van and climbed up and out, flying above the town.

I saw his figure get smaller and smaller until eventually he came back down and reentered the van.

"They are a few blocks away from the store, but something is wrong. They aren't moving, like something happened. Oh, and there are cop cars." Corbyn said quickly, making everyone worried.

"We have to go help them!" Christina said rushing to the van door.

"Chris! Don't go help them, you will get hurt. I'll go, I can fly over to them." Corbyn said yanking her away and opening the doors of the van.

"I'm coming." Tate said standing next to Corbyn.

"What? Why can't I come and Tate can." Christina crossed her arms.

"I don't want you getting hurt." Corbyn said pulling his girlfriend close to her and kissing her on the head.

"Wow, nice to know you care about me." Tate joked jumping out of the van.

"Stay here." Corbyn said looking at Christina and then at Sofia and I. Chris nodded and the two left by Corbyn holding on to Tate and flying off.

"This is what I meant everything is going to go to shit." Christina mentioned sitting down and putting her head in her hands.

"Guys, I think we need to drive." I say as I look down the road and see cop cars coming towards us.

"Okay, close the doors, I'm driving." Sofia said hoping into the front seat and starting the car.

Christina closes the doors and Sofia takes off down the road away from the cop cars that are chasing us.

"Why do we always end up in a car chase?" I question and get a shrug from Christina.

"Oh my god! We don't have any useful powers in this group. How are we going to get away from them?" Christina panics.

She was right, what were we going to do with Sofia's Lie Detection and Super Speed. This is bad, really bad.

We don't know what happened with the first group when they went to go get water. And we don't know what is going on with the second group after they went to go find them.

And now there is us speeding away from everyone trying not to get caught by the police.

Again, this is really bad.
